Hotel is located in the mountains, at a somewhat unexpected spot in the middle of nowhere. During our stay, out of the season, it was very quiet with only few other guests. Great service, very friendly receptionist / hotel manager who was flexible and helped us with some real good hiking tips. We liked the sauna a lot, after a long day hiking. Restaurant is also good, and the breakfast buffet is simply excellent with a huge choice of fresh bread, fruits, yoghurts, etc.

The room design is rather simple and maybe somewhat dated, but clean, comfortable and well maintained at the same time.

The location of the hotel was great, calm, peaceful, surrounded by forest. The food was fine, although we would prefer less of premanufactured and refined food, and more of foodstuff of local origin.

For some unknown reason our room/ bathroom was not cleaned every day and the towels were not changed. Some staff members were quite indifferent and even impatient in communication.

Room was a good size, and bed was big and comfortable. We had a nice balcony over the front of the hotel. The manager was very kind and helpful and they opened up the sauna for us (which we did pay for) which was great after a long days walk. The food was better than we expected! Dinner was nice and breakfast buffet was very generous.

Tea / coffee facilities in the room would have been great. Smart tv would have also been good but not essential.

Hotel in a beautiful location. I was upgraded to a room with a balcony for free as it was a quiet time of year to visit. Nice room with a good sized comfortable bed. Plenty of places to put your things and a shower with good pressure. Towels provided. Friendly staff and dinner in the bar was good and reasonably priced. Big selection at breakfast and the lady on duty was friendly and helpful. Making me up some scrambled eggs which were lovely. Highly recommend staying here. Would definitely book again .

Nothing All good

The hotel’s location was nice, ideal for those considering hiking or a bike tour. You are surrounded by nature. The hotel’s restaurant was also good, and the food was delicious.

Sometimes there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Since it didn’t happen all the time, it was tolerable, but it would be nice if it was checked.

Very well located, calm, peaceful, surrounded by forest, near lakes Bled and Bohinj. Rooms were clean and comfy, breakfast was good. Plenty of activities nearby and in hotel (playground for kids, gym, etc.) Very helpful receptionist / hotel manager who was flexible and helped us as we were late in arriving on the first day.

This was the perfect location for the beginning of the Mt Triglav hike. We stayed here before and after the overnight hike. The breakfast was really good and nice dinner options made it convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a little bit further from Bohinj than we realised, but that was our research not the fault of hotel.

We stayed one night in Hotel Pokljuka, and used it as a base for a long day hike in the spectacular Julian Alps. The rooms were clean and comfy. We ate dinner and breakfast here, and the food was excellent. We used the free Bled shuttle to reach this hotel.

Very peaceful hotel surrounded by forest. Great location for hiking! The room was big enough for two persons, clean and comfy bed. The breakfast was good with many options. Perfect escape from the city, especially in summer.

Excellent location if you want to enjoy outdoor activities in Pokljuka. The kitchen is open most of the day, which is nice if you don't want to schedule your day around meal time. The room was pretty big, which is a plus when you organise your hiking equipment.
