His advice on where to find the best "kremšnita," Bled's famous cream cake. The room was cozy, and had a view of the mountain. Waking up to that view was magical. It’s rare to find such a personal touch in service these days, but Peter's warm smile and dedication to ensuring we had the best experience really made Vila Alpina feel like home. The location is convenient, offering a pleasant walk to the lake while also providing a beautiful view of the mountains. The accommodations were exceptionally clean, and the shower had great water pressure—a small but important detail. Parking was easy to access, which made arrival and departure stress-free. We did not eat the breakfast but would try it on another visit. The breakfast area was pleasant. Our room was set up like a hotel room which served our purpose for this trip. On a longer stay you might want more space. The reception host was very accommodating when we were delayed past the 8 PM check-in time due to traffic and bad weather, which we greatly appreciated. They called and allowed us to complete check in via email. Their flexibility and understanding made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this is a well-run B&B in a great location, with thoughtful service and comfortable amenities. Highly recommended!

The person who checked us in was fabulous. I had spent lots of time looking at websites to plan how to spend our one day at Lake Bled, but in 5 to 10 minutes he gave us a very sensible plan. He even asked where we were headed next and gave us more practical ideas that worked out great. The room fit the location perfectly with an alpine atmosphere. Being so close to the lake was a huge bonus as we had a great free parking spot in a town where parking is limited and expensive. We decided not to try the breakfast that is delivered from local farms and very much regretted that.

Great location! We only stayed 1 night, so it was ok for our needs, but for more nights the room would be super small. If you book for more nights, check which room you get!

We wanted to have breakfast (reviews say it is excellent), but it turned out that one of the options was the breakfast basket - no coffee or beverages included. So breakfast is not for coffee/tea/orange juice lovers. It would be great to have a coffee machine in the lobby area at least. The other option is to have breakfast in a hotel nearby - we did not tested this option, we found cheaper and great options elsewhere.

The Vila seems new and is very clean. Our room was a great size, and I really liked the shower. Our room had automated shades on the outside that blocked out most of the morning light, which was great for a little extra sleep in the morning.

Location-wise, it's close to the lake, though not necessarily places to eat. We ended up driving and paying for parking each day, which I hadn't expected. The blackout shades were great, but the two little lights above the bed never turned off fully, so the bulbs glowed dully right above our eyes all night. I ended up needing to wear my sleep mask despite the blackout shades, which was a bummer.

I stayed in the deluxe room which was large and airy with lovely few of the mountains. Perfect location for embarking on walking circuit of the lake. Couple of nice restaurant bars nearby, so no need to walk back into town.

Directions could have been better. It's a good 30 minute walk (2.9km) from the bus station in Bled. If only I had stayed on the bus, it would have dropped me off at the bus stop about 5 mins walk from the accommodation but I wasn't aware that the continued bus route would take me past it?

I arrived during slow season and was upgraded to a very comfortable double bed room. It was so cold outside and they had turned the heat on in my room before my arrival! Really cozy and close to some short hikes and the lake. Receptionist is so friendly and gives great tips to explore the area, and is flexible with storing luggage after check out. Loved my stay :)

If you don’t have a car it’s a little inconvenient with rolling luggage up and down hills from the bus stop but not too far.

The location of Vila Alpina is great and better than Bled town center. It is in Garden Village and near the best view points of Lake Bled. It was very quiet and its environment is great. I strongly recommend to stay in Vila Alpina when visit Lake Bled. The host gentleman is very professional and very helpful. He adjusted our room to ground floor for an old couple. He also explain us how to visit Lake Bled and other top attractions in details. We followed his recommendation. We enjoyed to stay with Vila Alpina.

Beautiful place to stay close to Lake Bled. Our room, Lake Bled, was very comfy and modern. The host was very polite and professional. He provided all the information and gave us some useful recommendations. They have a common kitchen area with some tables were you can sit and eat or spend some time. We didn't try the breakfast but I believe it was a good option. Check in was quick. Parking is provided on site (also very convenient while in Lake Bled). You can walk to the lake but bare in mind is uphill. Not an issue for us. Is almost 100mts away from Vila Bled which is a great spot if you want a different view from the island (coffee is expensive though). Overall, a very nice stay.

Nothing to be disliked. If I have to be very, very picky I will make a humble suggestion. The place is immaculate but the towels provided, although very clean, were kind of old and killed for a minute the feeling of staying in an amazing place. The ones we got were purple/violet colored. But again, I'm being very picky. The towels were super clean, just old.

Vila Alpina is located in a very cozy and quiet neighborhood, only a few minutes walk away from the lake. Perfect if you like to stay in the area but somewhat away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The house is modern and the rooms were impeccably clean and fresh. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Enough parking available. Even though the house was full, I did not notice much of the other guests and it was very quiet during the night. All in all, I would highly recommend and would surely return if in the area again.
