Breakfast good. Location is excellent, easy walk downhill to the lake. But coming back from the lake is an uphill climb.

Be aware of the owners(?) of this property. They are shady and dishonest. They tried to collect from me in CASH payment of my stay when they know in fact that BOOKING.COM billed my credit card days before I arrived. I did not enough cash at time so I not was able to pay but collected an amount to pay some sort of taxes. Booking.com should be aware of properties like PENZION KAPS and kick them out of their system. Aside from this I had a good stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful guest house just a few mins walk from the lake in a quiet location. Our room and all communal areas were exceptionally clean and well presented and our room was refreshed every day. We had everything we needed in the room including a fridge, juice on arrival, kettle and umbrella. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view.A plentiful breakfast is also included in the price. Peter was extremely helpful and friendly with lots of advice about the area and I would highly recommend staying here

It felt a good size, maybe 15-20 rooms, meaning that there was a pleasant buzz at breakfast but not so big that it felt impersonal. The breakfast buffet was good, and they will cook eggs in whatever style you like which is a nice touch. The staff and owner were extremely helpful. It was very clean throughout. The bathroom was a triumph of spaciousness, minimalism and effectiveness. It was lovely to have a balcony, to breathe in the alpine-esque air. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the lake,

Nice to have 70s/80s background music such as Tina Turner and Dire Straits for breakfast on the first day, but it became a bit repetitive thereafter! Would have been good to have a selection of music mixes to accompany breakfast eg traditional Slovenian folk music.

A very welcoming host who gave us valuable tips for our stay and marked everything on the map. The location is just a few minutes from Lake Bled. Excellent spacious parking. Beautiful view from the room. The balcony has flowers, a table, and chairs. The house has a stunning design — we were especially impressed by the kitchen and its details, including a real stove decorated with gorgeous ceramic tiles. There’s a kettle, coffee, and tea available. The breakfast was outstanding — everything was incredibly delicious: meat, chees, yogurts, fresh fruits, home pastries. They also offer eggs cooked to your preference, and even some tasty pickled cucumbers.

The hosts were very welcoming, our room was very comfortable, clean and gave a very homely feel. There was plenty of space, there was even a mini fridge which came in handy! The breakfast was fabulous, plenty to choose from. Hot food was fresh, along with fresh fruit options, cereal, yoghurts and pastries. I don’t usually leave reviews but I really felt our stay was worth one! The location is perfect, around a 4-5 minute walk from the lake, the area is nice a quiet (guaranteed a good nights sleep!) the lake is beautiful, we also went to the castle as we were there for a wedding and I recommend visiting and admiring the view from up there… but be sure to wear comfortable and practical footwear! The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location for all of the restaurants and the lake. Big bathroom and good shower! Peter was very helpful at check in and gave us lots of advice on what to do during our time in Slovenia Breakfast was good! I loved the feel of the place, very traditional and quaint, lots of spaces to easily park our hire car and so peaceful and quiet. We had a botton floor room with a terrace and we didnt feel overlooked- I loved that we had a table and chairs and two reclining chairs.

Pension Kaps is a solid choice for travelers seeking a very good located, comfortable, and reasonably priced accommodation in Bled lake. Our overall experience was positive, particularly regarding the hotel's location, the architecturally interesting layout adding to the charm. and value for money. More specifically, the hotel's location is one of its standout features. It's within walking distance to the lake, making it easy to explore the area. We booked on a spacious top floor room with a big bathroom noted for its cleanliness and comfort. Modern amenities like adjustable air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, comfy beds, coffee machine with capsules was available, etc. Of course, we should mention the excellent breakfast that ticks all the boxes! Peter is a really good host very friendly and clearly cares about the place. I would definitely recommend it. Free parking is available on site.

Very good standard: breakfast, reception service and the room itself was nice with a balcony and was clean. I like to stay in places where there is a family run hotel.

Perfectly clean accommodation with everything you could possibly need – from towels and toiletries to kettle, coffee and fridge. The room was spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, including vegetarian options. The hosts were super friendly, spoke great English and made me feel truly welcome. Perfect location: quiet and peaceful, yet only a 5-minute walk to the lively lakefront. Public transport connections are also excellent. Would definitely stay again!

The room was comfortable and clean with great amenities such as coffee, tea, wifi, an extra umbrella if needed, and a large bathroom. We had a nice small balcony off the room as well. The host greeted us with great suggestions of what to see in the area. We took all the suggestions to walk the lake, see the castle, take a boat ride, hike to viewpoints and see the gorge. I left a sweatshirt behind and they were able to get it to me quickly which was wonderful. Breakfast was great as well!
