Family suite is spacious with two bedrooms. Breakfast was good with local products. There was available parking. We were assigned a lake view suite but it was a bit noisy as it's next to the street. Nice detail at check out.

Bath tube was horrible if you just want a quick shower as water splashed all over the bathroom. It was stated family suite is for 2 adults and 2 children even if booking just booked for 2+1, hotel confirmed they would correct guests but at check out, they charged the extra bed and breakfast for one child. We paid the half pension option with dinner included unfortunately nobody explained us that dinner was at another hotel (Kompass) buffet style until 8:30 pm, we arrived just before closure time and personal didn't want to work anymore, it was difficult to order some paid beverages. Personnel was having dinner at the buffet.

We selected this property after a different Booking host was a no-show. We loved the family suite which provided privacy for both travelers. The master suite had a small terrace with an outstanding view of Lake Bled and the island. Staff were courteous and friendly. The complimentary breakfast had numerous choices and was relaxing to eat while sitting on the outdoor patio. Very good restaurant on-site. Everything was in walking distance including bars, restaurants and even a nearby laundromat

We loved everything about Hotel Lovec

The location is wonderful, right up the hill from the lake and many restaurants in the area. The room was a good size for a family of 4 and bathroom was well appointed. Pool was very kid friendly, which we were nervous about from the pictures as it looks quite nice. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Hotel staff was very kind and parking available out front. I wish we could have tried the Thai massage but with kids, that's difficult to coordinate.

Only complaint is the saunas were not working but might have been user error.

Rooms are bigger than average, and has a lot of light even during winter. Great spa onsite. Breakfast is various and good quality. Lake is very close on foot, and the “centre” as well.

Rooms are a bit outdated, would need a renovation. They haven’t good as much parking spaces as rooms, sometimes you have to park at their partner hotel. During the busiest times, it happened that there weren’t any parking places none of the hotels, so we had to proceed to a paid parking garage, which was quite far and made the day uncomfortable.

The location was great, and I was upgraded to a room with a lake view and balcony with seating. It is very central to everything. The room had a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good and not too busy. The pool looked good, although I didn't use it.

The room itself was a little dated, and it could do with an upgrade. It felt a bit cold and clinical. The mattress dipped in the middle and was high on both sides, needs replacing.

Close to the lake, the lake view was nice. Comfortable bed. Good range of options at breakfast. Air con worked well.

My room was a little cramped - there was a door between the entry way and main room that was just awkward as it wouldn’t close with the position of the bed and served no real purpose, just made it hard to access an area where a suitcase would fit - if I was the hotel I would remove the door and the room would be much nicer. Be aware - the hotel overlooks a parking area and when the balcony door is open there is a bit of road noise. However, when the balcony door is closed I didn’t notice any noises and slept well (I’m a light sleeper).

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is a 3-minute walk to the lake and all the restaurants are within walking distance. Our room looked to the lake, so it had a picturesque view. The breakfast is nice, with good quality ingredients and as a plus, you can choose between some local jams, yogurts, and cream cheese. The staff is helpful, polite and kind.

The cleanliness of of room was average at best. The size of our room was a bit small, but If you planning to spend only the nights it is not a problem. The wifi sucks! :( We had to reconnect every few hours to get some connection, but the bandwidth was so slow it was a challenge to do some surfing and not dream about streaming your favorite movie or series.

Location is perfect, in the middle of "everything" to discover. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and service oriented. Passionately helped to answer all of our questions and interests. Parking facility is limited, but they offered parking at a partner hotel in 100m free of charge. The room was right size, furniture is a bit dated, but high comfort and clean. Breakfast is a wide selection and delicious. Perfect for 2-3 days stays. We have got a nice local product at checkout - a gift that made even your last day.

The SPA did not attract me. The pool is small, the environment is not attractive. Just checked the room, but did not stay. Not a big deal, I think people visit Bled to be outside :)

I had an issue with my booking, and it led to me having to rebook. I spoke to the receptionist on arrival and his manner, and his ability to deal calmly and efficiently with the problem changed my negative attitude to the hotel and all that happened into a positive one. He handled it all in an exemplary way. The room I had was small, but it did have a lovely balcony with a partial lake view, and I enjoyed that. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Bled is an expensive place to stay, so I consider it was fairly reasonable value for money though it was expensive.

I had an issue with the way the hotel cancelled my booking and forced me to rebook, but the matter was resolved satisfactorily by the receptionist.

We had problems getting to hotel Lovec arriving at 3am. We were greeted by a receptionist who got us into our rooms really quickly and efficiently. The rooms overlooking lake Bled are excellent with a small but adequate balcony. The staff were exceptional from reception, breakfast, and room service. The breakfast had so many choices and quality products that we didn't need lunch.The hotel allowed us to keep our rooms for an extra hour to allow a slightly later checkout. I would completely recommend this hotel. The position from the beautiful lake Bled is less than a five minute walk. Transport links to Vintgar Gorge and our onward journey to Ljubljana were all close by.
