This hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable. But still more in the early 2000s than contemporary. But breakfasts are really delicious. The location is fantastic, in the very centre of Bled, close to the lake and restaurants. The restaurant in the Lovec is very nice, and they got an extraordinary Slovenian wines. The swimming pool is small, but ok, with a nice atmosphere. We didn't check the spa. The internet in the hotel is not great, but it's fine.

During the high season, there is a huge problem with parking spaces. The hotel offers only a few free parking spaces, but this is definitely not enough. We had to find parking spaces ourselves, and all the car parks in the area were very expensive. I don't expect the hotel to have a free garage, but there should definitely be a place where guests can park for an additional fee without having to search for a space. Every time we returned from a trip, we wondered if we would find a parking space somewhere. That wasn't nice.

The hotel description states that there is free parking and there is also private parking for €24 per night We researched and fully understood that parking was a premium in Bled so we booked this hotel on the basis that we would be able to park our car for the three nights we were staying there. There were maximum 12x free spaces outside reception and 8x private spaces in the underground car park which was charged at €24 per night. 20 spaces for 61 rooms! Nowhere did it say that parking was on a first come first served basis. We could not get into either of the car parks. We were directed to another hotel down the road which charged €30 per night and you had to remove your car by 11am the next morning. This made the stay a lot more expensive than we originally planned.

Family suite is spacious with two bedrooms. Breakfast was good with local products. There was available parking. We were assigned a lake view suite but it was a bit noisy as it's next to the street. Nice detail at check out.

Bath tube was horrible if you just want a quick shower as water splashed all over the bathroom. It was stated family suite is for 2 adults and 2 children even if booking just booked for 2+1, hotel confirmed they would correct guests but at check out, they charged the extra bed and breakfast for one child. We paid the half pension option with dinner included unfortunately nobody explained us that dinner was at another hotel (Kompass) buffet style until 8:30 pm, we arrived just before closure time and personal didn't want to work anymore, it was difficult to order some paid beverages. Personnel was having dinner at the buffet.

We selected this property after a different Booking host was a no-show. We loved the family suite which provided privacy for both travelers. The master suite had a small terrace with an outstanding view of Lake Bled and the island. Staff were courteous and friendly. The complimentary breakfast had numerous choices and was relaxing to eat while sitting on the outdoor patio. Very good restaurant on-site. Everything was in walking distance including bars, restaurants and even a nearby laundromat

We loved everything about Hotel Lovec

The location was exceptional, close to the lake (2 min walk). The staff was very welcoming and helped answering all the doubts we had about the trips in Bled. You have plenty of bar and restaurants nearby.

The room was small and the bathroom wasn't totally clean (some stains in the wall). One of the curtains was broken and we had to fix it to stop the outside light coming through. For a 4 star hotel that should be fixed before having the next customer. The parking is limited, therefore you need to get lucky to get a spot.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned everyday but towels not replaced everyday, which is a good thing. The breakfast was delichious. The location was great, having a lake view was worth the extra money. The pool and spa were great, quite small but when quiet it was perfect after a long day walking.

The evening meal was at the hotel next door which was very quiet and had a poor atmosphere. The food was really lovely though. Drinks were very expensive.

The location is wonderful, right up the hill from the lake and many restaurants in the area. The room was a good size for a family of 4 and bathroom was well appointed. Pool was very kid friendly, which we were nervous about from the pictures as it looks quite nice. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Hotel staff was very kind and parking available out front. I wish we could have tried the Thai massage but with kids, that's difficult to coordinate.

Only complaint is the saunas were not working but might have been user error.

Rooms are bigger than average, and has a lot of light even during winter. Great spa onsite. Breakfast is various and good quality. Lake is very close on foot, and the “centre” as well.

Rooms are a bit outdated, would need a renovation. They haven’t good as much parking spaces as rooms, sometimes you have to park at their partner hotel. During the busiest times, it happened that there weren’t any parking places none of the hotels, so we had to proceed to a paid parking garage, which was quite far and made the day uncomfortable.

The location was great, and I was upgraded to a room with a lake view and balcony with seating. It is very central to everything. The room had a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good and not too busy. The pool looked good, although I didn't use it.

The room itself was a little dated, and it could do with an upgrade. It felt a bit cold and clinical. The mattress dipped in the middle and was high on both sides, needs replacing.

Close to the lake, the lake view was nice. Comfortable bed. Good range of options at breakfast. Air con worked well.

My room was a little cramped - there was a door between the entry way and main room that was just awkward as it wouldn’t close with the position of the bed and served no real purpose, just made it hard to access an area where a suitcase would fit - if I was the hotel I would remove the door and the room would be much nicer. Be aware - the hotel overlooks a parking area and when the balcony door is open there is a bit of road noise. However, when the balcony door is closed I didn’t notice any noises and slept well (I’m a light sleeper).
