All the staff were very welcoming and super helpful and went out of their way to give us local tips. The room was lovely with good ac (very hot weekend) which had been thoughtfully turned down prior to our arrival so the room was lovely and cool. Appreciated the fridge to keep our drinks cool. Altho we didn’t use them the SOS kit on each floor with all sorts of emergency toiletries was a lovely idea. Breakfast was really nice with lovely homemade cakes and cookies and as well as the cold buffet eggs were available to order. 5 minutes walk in to town, 5 minutes from the bakery and lots of restaurants nearby. The lake is beautiful and we hope to return for longer soon.

Very charming room, the hotel location is perfect, car parking also available, very friendly always helpful staff. And dog friendly🤗. The food in the restaurant is simply Superb!! 🤩🍾 congrats to the chef 👨‍🍳👏!!

Cottage-like style. Location ok.

Walls were not at all sound-proof and there were a shouting, loud, couple close by when our peaceful stay and evening got distracted. Another thing was that the shower area was not designed very well, there were hardly enough room between the class door and the wall that it was difficult to enter or leave the shower. The door should have opened outwards from the shower or have a different type of door altogether. It would be impossible for a bigger person to fit in. Breakfast did not include enough vegetarian options so we went to have breakfast elsewhere.

The property is so cosy and decorated absolutely beautifully! It was like a fairytale cottage. We had an amazing four poster bed which was very comfortable and the room was well equipped with everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant and it was very good, and all the staff were very kind.

Unfortunately it was very noisy. We could hear almost everything from neighbouring rooms - it sounded as if they were in the room with us! This meant it was very hard to sleep as we were woken up at 6.30 AM by the room next door coughing and talking, and then again later on when cleaners were downstairs :( it's a stunning place but probably not the best if you want a lie in!

Stepping into this historic hotel was like entering a charming Alpine retreat. The stunning panorama of Lake Bled and Bled Castle took our breath away. Our room, furnished in classic Alpine style, was both comfortable and well-appointed. It's worth noting the absence of an elevator and the steep, narrow stairs, but the hotel's unique character and the convenience of the attached Old Bled Cellar Restaurant more than compensated. The staff's kindness and helpfulness, coupled with their fluent English, made our stay truly enjoyable.

Great location! Very close to the lake and restaurants. The hotel is very charming and has a lot of character! We loved the authentic feel. The room was pretty small, but we expected that so it was ok. We had a few appetizers for a late dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious!! Overall recommend!

We stayed on the top floor so it was warm at night. There is an AC in the room though. I think the weather has just been much hotter than expected for the area.

Better than pictures, SUCH a charming alpine-style chalet! VERY cute and VERY comfy, loved our room. Wins the prize for FIRST HOTEL in 4 months of travel to realize the value of HOOKS. Hooks everywhere, and we DID use them. ALL other hotels are idiots about this, this owner was smart! LOTS of storage space for luggage, etc, room well planned.. Food was great, lovely restaurant. You reserve for either 6:30 or 8 pm sittings, so if you like to linger or meet people, do the 8 pm one, as it gives you 2 hours til close, no rush. Special shout out to waitress LUCIA, who was wonderful, patient, and very kind; after an understandable mistake on my order that she corrected (which only gave me more time to happily chill in the relaxing setting), she was very attentive and at the end of the night she brought us out unusual sage aperitif drinks on the house, very sweet of her, and we left very happy with her service. GO, you wont regret it! (only 5 min walk to the lake park).

Liked everything from minute 1. (Wedding guests were very loud second night, but we just put white noise rainstorm on our phones, easy).

Good location to be a little out of Bled, but very walkable distance. Extremely characterful property and good size rooms and they were really, really great about us bringing and storing our bicycles securely. Bed was comfy enough and the bathroom very clean.

Our room had a motion activated light by the room door which would constantly trigger without any movement. Solvable by just taking the light bulb out but it would still click when trying to 'turn on and off'. The downstairs of the property is a restaurant run by a different business so there is some clash with space for checking in/customers of the restaurant, and the restaurant staff don't seem that enthusiastic about the hotel guests.

Lovely almost 400 year old building, beautifully restored, helpful and kind staff. It is easy to access town on foot (without luggage). The restaurant has great ambience and excellent food. The beauty of lake Bled surpasses the pictures! Climbing up to the castle and visiting the museum is definitely worth it!

Walk from bus station a bit of a distance with heavy luggage, but walking into town and lake front without a suitcase from the hotel is an easy stroll downhill. It looks like there is good off-road parking for those with cars. The bathroom was a bit tight but enough for one person (I was in a smaller room).

Main thing would be the noise proofing, could hear the guests above us a lot during the night which made it harder to sleep - no block out curtains either so if you want to lie in bring an eye mask! Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and we were excited to try it! Understandably though, as they were doing restorations, will definitely be back in the future to try it !
