Fabulous location at the end of lake Bohinj, surrounded by mountains, right next to the stream and short walk from the pebble beach at the lake. Communication with Javak was very good throughout, from instructions before we arrived, a WhatsApp number for day-to-day questions and a bulging information pack on things to do when we were there. The chalet was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable and everything was fitted out to a high specification - e.g. a good induction cooker and coffee machine, a full set of decent with pans, utensils and crockery, a fabulous sauna and shower, large TVs that the kids could cast to, a Weber BBQ etc. We felt ourselves relax from the moment we got there and had a wonderful time in nature and as a family.

The most minor of criticisms is that the recycling was a little confusing - the instructions didn't quite match the bins in the house or on site.

The location, serenity, nature... I didn't want to leave! The fireplace had wood available and it got cool at night so was much appreciated. I love how clean and cozy things were. I had enough kitchen supplies to cook even though we decided to go out instead. I love Illy espresso which was the perfect start to my morning of hiking and adventuring. The bedroom was so peaceful, i slept very well. The mattress and bedding were so comfortable. Overall i would absolutely come back again!!!

I wish i had been told there would be construction in the morning next to the bedroom. We were tired from travel and not rising as early and the noise was inconvenient to the peace of nature. I would have liked a late checkout... 10am is early. 11am would be better.

Traveling Slovenia from the U.S. as a family of 5 with three grown and well traveled kids, the bar was high and ALPIK Chalets exceeded our expectations in every way, particularly the quality of the accommodations. The setting was lovely and simple framed by mountains and next to the stream. The chalet was comfortable, well-appointed and spacious and the location just a minute from the Vogel cable car made it possible for us to hike almost to the summit (a little snow left up there) on a tight schedule. And less than five from the east end of the lake made it easy to grab a few groceries and dine out.

The chalet and its surroundings is so beautiful. We woke up and go outside and admire the mountains. It is walking distance from Lake Bohinj, we managed to rent kayaks near the camping site. The chalet is well equipped, you have all that you need. Communication with the staff was easy through whatsapp

The chalet was very nice but sometimes it felt a bit too compact. The check-in and check-out were all done through whatsapp. Even though in the chalet there were a lot of very useful flyers, it would have been nice to talk to someone at the reception and ask for guidance. We still loved it!

The appartment is located in a phenomenal place, walking distance to the best part of the lake and also great for all other activities (hiking, skiing on Vogel, etc.). It is easy to find and once you get there you are greeted by an impeccable surrounding. The host was very friendly and the check-in process was fast and easy. Also, all the communication before we arrived was fast, friendly and effortless. The appartment is big with a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. We loved the big bathtub in the bathroom.

The 3rd bed was extremely short. I'm 195cm tall and my legs hung off the bed even when I wasn't fully extended. Keep in mind if you are tall. If not, this will not be an issue as the bed is quite comfy otherwise.

Very beautiful chalet in the middle of the mountains and at the very shore of Bohinj lake. The location is ideal for walking and skiing (5 min to Vogel station) in winter, and for hiking and lots of other activities in warmer seasons. 30 minutes drive to the beautiful Bled lake. The chalet itself is beautifully refurbished with love and attention to every tiny detail. Everything was clean and brand new. The owner Jaka was very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast delivery options is available, for the rest of the day you either cook (fully euqiped kitchen + barbecue set) or dine out (one option with short walking distance). The private sauna and fireplace add to the beautiful atmosphere of the chalet.

The place is high quality with great amenities in a great, relaxing location. Staff were very helpful as well. The local cheese on arrival was a nice touch, too.

A slight rub is the coffee, in my opinion. For the price you pay for a night, include the coffee. They ask for a donation, with a nice story behind it, but if they care so much about their town, they should be the ones contributing to their "story". In the end, it isn't a donation, and they charge you for it anyways. Aside from this, though, the place is great and highly recommended.

This place is so nice ! Everything is clean and new inside , it’s 5-10 min walk from the lake , jacka the host is very kind and helpful, and so is the housekeeper ! Location is also really cute , we really loved staying there, and would do it again with no hesitation ! :)

Very cozy wooden chalet style houses with a lot attention to details and wirh very nice interior accents. I liked furniture style a lot! Check in and check out were easy enough. Place is very quiet and remote, although occasional hiker passes by. Cool dining area just outside of main door on terrace, where you can have you meal and enjoy views and fresh air. Would come back again.

The only inconvenience for us was lack of pillow options. The ones available there were very thin and uncomfortable to sleep on. In fact we only slept erraticaly over 3 nights spent there because of that. Suggestion to owners to get different size and material pillows stocked as all people are different in their sleeping routine.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful chalet. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled amidst towering mountains and with a beautiful river flowing nearby. It was the perfect setting for a serene and relaxing getaway. Inside, the apartment was equipped with everything one could possibly need. What stood out the most was the impeccable cleanliness of the place; it was spotless and very well-maintained. Overall, this apartment provided a wonderful and comfortable stay, and I look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended!

No cleaning service during 7 day stay. Mosquito nets on the windows would be very useful. On hot days you may feel the lack of air conditioning.
