Everything was super clean, staff was always nice and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing and rich! Special thanks to Petra, the girl from reception for wellness. She always welcomed us warmhearted and asked us how are we, helped with everything we asked for! Rooms are beautiful as the view from the room!

The thing for room card didn’t work well, we had to try multiple times so we can get in the room (no worries, wasn’t a big deal to us). I think you have a very small offer for lunch and dinner, but overall nice food. I know you have fit rooms, but maybe some kind of gym as addition would be great to have in the hotel

We had a truly enjoyable stay at Hotel Bohinj — a beautifully designed retreat in the heart of Bohinj, with a bus stop right in front and all the main attractions within walking distance or a short drive. The hotel’s wooden alpine architecture adds a warm and modern feel, perfectly reflecting the natural surroundings. Our room was tastefully decorated, with excellent sound insulation and a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the welcome drinks and Bohinj coffee — such a nice local touch. One of the highlights was the private hot tub in the room with an amazing mountain view — a perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking. The floating breakfast was another unforgettable experience. When we arrived at the spa area, everything was beautifully arranged. The pool was warm, the setting private, and the food fresh and plentiful. The entire spa area was peaceful, clean, and well-equipped — we had everything we needed for a relaxing morning. Breakfast in the main restaurant was also very good, with a nice variety of fresh juices, fruits, and bakery items. The staff were consistently polite, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We were grateful for the early check-in, but we did notice that the toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, tissue) were only partially stocked, and we had to request refills more than once. Additionally, during our 3-night stay, there was no regular housekeeping unless we specifically asked for it — something to be aware of, though not a major issue. Overall, Hotel Bohinj truly stands out for its prime location, beautiful design, and peaceful atmosphere. With a few small improvements — particularly in room preparation and climate comfort — it could be outstanding. We highly recommend it and would happily return.

A small detail: we found a cigarette remnant in the pool water during our floating breakfast — a rare oversight, but worth noting. Also, while the nightly outdoor fire adds ambiance for many, it was a bit difficult for us due to asthma and allergies. And with daytime temperatures reaching 27°C, we felt that having air conditioning would make the stay much more comfortable.

The hotel was beautiful and set in amazing surroundings with views out towards the lake and mountains. The breakfast was delicious and having access to the spa each day was such a treat! We also particularly enjoyed having dinner at the hotel where the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. We couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to stay at!

The air con in the rooms took a little while to get going - we had to keep it on all day with the curtains closed to keep the room cool. But not a problem at all when we did this.

Modern and stylish hotel in a nice town of Bohinj just next to the lake. Rooms are well equipped, lots of wood and comfy giant bed. Decent restaurant within the hotel and small, but nice spa. Reception is beautifully decorated for Christmas. Great value for money!

- Not many healthy options for breakfast, lots of processed meat and lacking vegetables and porridge - I had a massage in the last day of our stay, and the massage lady wasn’t really healthy. She was coughing during massage. Not sure how much it is related, but I got sick shortly after that. I wish I stopped massage and left

Hotel Bohinj feels as an extraordinary place due to its natural environment as well as due to the modern architectural shapes of the hotel itself which, at the same time enhances its appearance with the rustic touch of wooden(like) interiors . We booked a room without balcony, which means we "only" had a smaller balcony (at least in our case). Bed mattresses were sufficiently firm for healthy sleeps (which is a challenge at lots of other hotels) Breakfast is beyond expectations, an absolutely superior experience. Staff was at service all the time and was effective and polite. We ate dinner once at the hotel's restaurant, it was a real culinary adventure. Little treats, like hot tea, fruits and seeds in the wellness area.

Wellness is not a particularly large area, you don't have the feeling of having generous amount of space, but the dry sauna room is large enough for several people, and the place has an outdoor pool to cool down, etc.

Very beautiful hotel with an amazing location. Everywhere you look it is obvious that every detail mattered when designing this hotel. The mattress and pillows were some of the best I ever slept in. I still can’t forgive myself for not looking at what was the brand of that perfect pillow. Breakfast and cocktails at the bar were amazing. The homemade liver pate for breakfast was a standout. Spa was a very nice experience but be aware that nudity is obligatory in Turkish sauna (which is completely fine), but also allowed at the pool which was little bit unpleasant for me and my friend.

Although we enjoy our stay very much, I have to point out that dishes in our room (cups and glasses) were not perfectly cleaned. One of our cups had some kind of oily/greasy fingertip left. This is more of a information for the hotel, than a serious critique. Also there was a strong unpleasant smell (something like a sewage) in our room, but we managed to air it out.

I liked food, even dinner which we have extra. Location is the best for visiting attraction like Vogel and waterfall Savica and near to Bled for visiting. Bohinj lake is great for round walk and hotel location is near. Room is great organized and has so beautiful view with Julian Alps (Triglav). Also, room has mini bar and room service (extra pay). We liked the 2 hours of spa enjoyment that is included in price.

Even with reservation for spa, it was crowded and near to exit the floor was very vet. Salt room was not what we expected. Maybe there should be bigger spa or they should put limit for using it.

We really enjoyed the sustainability and the decor. The breakfast range was truly impressive and the staff working in the restaurant were very helpful and efficient. The bedrooms were cosy with clever lighting (natural and artificial), genuinely comfortable beds and great views. The fire pit was a welcoming touch as was the wine tasting event. Prior to our arrival, I emailed the hotel with questions and queries- all of which were very efficiently and promptly responded to.

The spa was good but a little small. It would be a good idea to include places for hotel guests to spin their swimwear dry.

Top-notch location. Magnificent grounds. Staff is always ready to assist in the best possible way, ensuring there's no sense of intrusion while resolving any issue instantly. Despite our complete lack of desire to plan anything, the staff made it possible for us to fully enjoy all the hotel's services, including the charming SPA. A very atmospheric place. Simply an outstanding weekend.

The renovation of an even more luxurious location right next door slightly marred the view and atmosphere, but it did not affect the quality of our stay at all. It might also be worth considering optimizing the view of the backyard – the goat is wonderful, but the garbage bins somewhat spoil the scenery.
