Oh, where do I even start with this gem of a hotel? Our stay here was absolutely magical and easily the highlight of our two-week European adventure. First off, the location was pure perfection. We were just a stone's throw away from the Pletna boats, which meant we could effortlessly hop over to Bled Island. And let me tell you, booking a room with a lake view balcony was the best decision ever. Picture this: sipping on hot drinks, rain gently tapping on the balcony, and the mesmerizing view of the lake right in front of us. It was like something out of a dream. The room itself was cozy and inviting. Opening the window at night filled our room with the crisp, cool breeze, making for the most peaceful sleep. The shower water pressure was wonderful - a small detail, but it made a huge difference in our overall experience. The entire place was not only clean but also beautifully designed. Every corner exuded charm and elegance. And oh, the staff! They were an absolute delight - friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant served us the best meal of our entire trip. The flavors, the presentation, everything was top-notch. It was so good that we couldn't resist driving back to Bled on a separate night just to have another round of that culinary masterpiece. And then there was the sunrise. Waking up early, we strolled right out of the hotel and found ourselves on a scenic lakeside trail. The mist floating over the lake as the sun rose was a sight straight out of a fairytale. In a nutshell, this hotel isn't just a place to stay; it's an experience. It's where memories are made, where every moment feels like a page out of a storybook.

Everything was perfect

It’s close to the lake. The included parking is wonderful. The bedroom and bathroom are tiny, however they clean and very comfortable. The balcony with lake view was very nice. The staff are very friendly. The gift voucher for a drink in the restaurant was a pleasant unexpected surprise. The restaurant meals were delicious! We are 3 adults and we shared the Meat platter for 2 the first night. And the seafood platter for 2 the second night. We liked the seafood platter better. We had plenty of food for the 3 of us each night. Our server Tina was very friendly and spoke excellent English. She even saved our bottle of wine for the second night for us! Make sure to try the Cream Cake. It reminded us of Cream Puffs back home. Breakfast both mornings was amazing! Lots of hot and cold items to choose from. They even made yummy Slovenian dishes for Easter morning! The colored eggs were especially pretty!

The hotel is on a busy noisy road

Great position overlooking lake. Pleasant staff. Restaurant attached downstairs which is only one of the two places to eat in immediate area. Efficient. Informative and helpful check in.

As so often, disappointing breakfast. Orange juice container empty and just left that way. All pretty lacklustre. Adequate. Our room very tiny indeed. Bathroom a glass box inside it, less fun than it sounds. 5E to park. And. Weirdly. They charge 1E as “administrative charge “ for “booking in”!!! Ok it’s 1E. Not going to break the bank. But why? Never heard of such a thing. How else can you book in other than booking in so why charge additionally for it? Leaves you feeling ( along with parking charge) that they will pump every euro out of you they can.

I like its proximity to the lake, and it was an easy access from the road. Parking & restaurant in property was a double plus! The manager and the staff were all so friendly, helpful and very efficient. I particularly love our room balcony and the view from it!👍🏻 Down side… we were in the 3rd level and there was no elevator but a staff was available to bring our bags up. The room & bathroom was a bit tight but it has all the amenities we needed so it’s still a win-win actually. 👍🏻

Hotel is just by the lake across the road, and room had lake view. It is really relaxing and staff is very friendly. Location is great. They have parking that is not expensive (5 EUR for whole day) and bus station is right by hotel, they also provided us with number of taxi that is available on call.

Even though we asked upfront if there are vegan options for breakfast and they confirmed so we didn't take our own, the only vegan things available were sweet jam and oats. So we had to unexpectedly go to the store to find something. It would be great if there were some options that could keep body full for long walks. For example, hummus with cut carrots/cucumbers, vegan butter and salami, not-sweet spreads or pates, burek with potatoes or apples, etc.

The location of the hotel - right across the lake and with the bus stop for public transport right there next to the hotel and another one right across the road. The ambience of the hotel is perfect, very cosy and elegant. The breakfast was also very good with a lot of different options suitable for all.

no lift in the property so can be quite uncomfortable with people having mobility issues and to have to take the luggages one or 2 storeys up. However people at the hotel are helpful and we had assistance in taking our luggage up to the second floor.

The hotel was super! It's a 100 year old (although doesnt look like it) hotel with modern facilities. It has quite a story to it. Located right by the lake and next to the bus stop - public transport is a bit of a problem in Bled so, this was a big advantage. You can go for a beautiful walk by the lake, take a boat to the island, or explore the nearby restaurants right outside the hotel. The view from the window was delightful! The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a decent spread. The restaurant was awesome!

More of a suggestion to improve would be the breakfast spread. Only because everything else.was perfect!

Staff very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was fantastic. The view from our balcony onto the lake was stunning. Everything was spotless and the whole country so clean. The bus stop for busses to the capital and Trivag National Park is just outside the hotel. Also a free ski bus shuttle to 3 Ski resortfs if you stay more than 4 njghts, you don't have to be a ski to go there. The hotel is in close walking distance to the centre. The hotel has a lovely restaurant also there is a supermarket 1 min walk away and other restaurants and bars.

The only thing we did not like was having to leave when our holiday came to an end. We loved staying at this beautiful hotel.

The best thing is the location, right on the lake, at the pier to cross to the island in the middle of the water. There is a parking lot (for a fee). The room is clean but a bit small. The breakfast is good.

There is a restaurant and kitchen downstairs of the hotel, so the smell of food permeates the corridors inside the hotel. Fortunately, it did not enter the rooms. And because the hotel is located on the roadside. If you open the window at night, you can hear the sound of cars running very loudly. But when you close the window, the air doesn't circulate very well (there is air condition/heater in the room but the wind is very low)

Super quaint and beautifully kept hotel. Beautiful remodel and wonderful views of lake Bled. Has ample parking for guests. The included breakfast was amazing. Great variety every morning of breads, fruits, eggs, sausages, yogurts, granola, etc. (vegan and vegetarian options, even had vegan milk options for coffee). Staff was VERY friendly and knowledgeable of area. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. Rooms included a safe and a nice size wardrobe. Wine glasses and coffee glasses were in the room, as well as tea/coffee. And a full stocked minibar for a fee. My husband and I had the junior suite which was VERY spacious. It had a separate sitting area. The bathroom was remodeled and GORGEOUS, but a little small (but to be expected for Europe). Free toiletries were wonderful. We had a tiny view of the lake. And also there was a terrace on the side of the hotel that anyone could use. Great location, quiet end of bled away from the hustle and bustle, but still walking distance to all the restaurants etc. (about 20 minutes).

There is no elevator but that was not a problem for us. Nothing else to note!
