The experience from start to finish was excellent. The location of the property to Lake Bohji (the property is on the lake) and to Lake Bled (20 mins by car), and to travel further i.e Ljubjana (1hr 15mins) and into the mountains was ideal - Note: a hire car is strongly recommended. We stayed in the villa on B&B terms, which provided facilities well above the norm, and the quality was exceptionable in every respect. Breakfast was high quality and catered for all tastes. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and supportive throughout our stay. We could not have asked for anything more.

The guesthouse's beautiful location allows us to enjoy stunning mountain views and fresh air from the very morning. Delicious breakfasts, which can also be enjoyed on the terrace, include plenty of vegetarian options. Everything is fresh and includes delicious homemade cakes. We had an attic room, which we were a bit worried about due to the heat, but surprisingly, even on very sunny afternoons, the room stayed cool. A two-minute drive from Privillage is the beach, perfect for swimming on hot days. I highly recommend it!

I think the only downside was the small size of the room and bathroom and the lack of a wardrobe.

I had such an exceptional stay, from beginning to end. The location is so quiet and tranquil, while still being very close to hiking trails, and still offering incredible, breathtaking views. The host provided personalized recommendations for sights and hikes, and was very accommodating with food in terms of vegan options. It was more than just exceptional customer service, the staff were so kind and considerate. They went above and beyond; I greatly appreciated their generosity and thoughtfulness. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone, and if I ever return to Bohinj, I will gladly stay there again.

After one year we've returned and everything was as good as the last time. This time we booked a suite on the second floor (Suite with Mountain View). The small hotel is in a beautiful surrounding on the east end of the Bohinj lake, just a few minutes walking distance from the lake itself. If is a very nice building with smaller, but very cozy rooms. Upon arrival we had to call the contact number placed on the office door, since it does not offer a permanent reception, but the owner was there is a minute. As mentioned, the rooms are rather small but very nice, quite well equipped and clean. What surprised us most is the breakfast - it is a surprisingly good selection and even on a longer stay you do not feel of having the same meal over and over again. The staff is very nice and helpful, we have immediately received good and interesting tips for activities, places to eat etc.. You can park your car right next to the building for free.

A fabulous guesthouse in the most beautiful location close to the shores of Lake Bohinj. A warm welcome from Joze and his team with very comfortable accommodation in ensuite rooms with a balcony to sit and enjoy the view. The excellent buffet breakfast provided was a highlight with just about everything you could think of (cereals, fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheeses, salads, fresh bread and rolls as well as hot eggs and bacon) and coffees made to order to enjoy with the homemade cake and pastries. Rooms cleaned daily if wished and the whole package made for a most relaxing stay and the perfect base to explore the local area. We will definitely return as a week wasn't long enough to see and do everything.

No complaints at all but British guests (who are used to) may wish to note that there is no kettle in the room to make hot drinks. This wasn't a problem as so much else to offer and Joze was happy to make us drinks on our arrival (later than scheduled).

The rooms are cosy, clean and comfy. Our two rooms had balconies with views of the mountains and lake. There was plentiful hot water. Breakfasts were excellent, with a good choice of food, including freshly baked strudel and cakes, and on some days, pancakes. Staff were friendly , helpful, and offered a very warm welcome. The pension is located on the way to the Savice waterfall, and it’s less than a ten minute walk to the bus stop which takes you to the other end of Bohinj and beyond. There’s a restaurant within ten minutes’ walk, but opening times are a bit erratic. Better (if like us you don’t have a car) is to sample the excellent pizzas, salads, and grills at the campsite 15-20 minutes walk away.

We would have liked access to tea and coffee making facilities and the option to buy a glass of wine/beer in the evenings; but these are pretty minor details!

A great place. The room was comfortable with a great view of the lake from our balcony. A very welcoming host who was really helpful. We are vegan and they got extra breakfast supplies in to cater for us which was great. Such a relaxing place to be, so close the lake and an amazing river which crystal clear water. Also very close to a resort where you can rent bikes, padelboards etc and which has a good restaurant. Good easy parking.

Nothing everything was great.

Very new and homely with an alpine chalet vibe. The surrounding scenery was beautiful with looming mountainsides, cows and wildflower meadows. The location was close enough to the lake to walk but in a small village so felt secluded. The breakfast was a delicious buffet of cold meats, cheese, bacon, sausage, eggs, breads and pickles with cakes and croissants. I especially liked the elderflower cordial. The staff were really nice and helpful.

Though comfortable, the room was small and basic and only had the bare minimum of toiletries, no fridge, kettle, tea or coffee. It was also very warm despite the weather not being so hot, meaning we had to sleep with the skylight open and be woken in the morning by the sunlight. The location was fine to get to the lake but was a little far from the amenities of the main town, considering parking everywhere in the town is paid only and there were only two restaurants (one in the campsite) within walking distance.

We spent one night at Privillage. The accomodation is located at a very picturasque and quiet place next to Lake Bohinj. There are several hiking routes and sights nearby. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our delicious breakfast was included in the price. The rooms were super tidy and brand new. I highly reccomend this place to stay for shorter or longer period as well.

Everything was just fine during our stay. But if we had stayed longer in summer time, we would have missed a small refrigerator in our room.

Amazing location! Best spot of the Bohinj lake. You're surrounded by mountains, stunning landscape. Really peaceful and quiet. The rooms are clean, modern interior. Breakfast was good. You can walk easily to the waterfall from this accommodation. I actually wanted to extend my stay here but the room was extremely hot! Even tough the temperature outside was not so warm, it was unbearable hot inside the room. Even with the window open.

The room was extremely warm. I couldn't sleep, even with the window open it was al lot warmer in the room than outside!
