Based on the photos, the hotel looks nice but nothing too special. However, I cannot stress how wonderful the staff and hotel were! Everyone was very relaxed and happy to help. The wine selection was very good, and the food was very delicious and reasonably priced, especially for its high quality. The property is quiet, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. It was a very short and easy walk to Bohinj.

I wish there had been a little more privacy. The walls are a bit thin, and the balconies were close to each other without full dividers. If you stood at the balcony, you could see the other residents next to you, and you could hear anyone on their balcony. The bathroom also did not have a fully sealed door and some of the wall had frosted glass with some clear parts.

Lovely location just a few minutes down to the lake and there are restaurants and a supermarket very close by. The staff were exceptional - we really felt very welcomed and taken care of. We loved the balcony as it had a view of Triglav and other mountains. The breakfast was very good too. We really liked the home made chocolate - if you stay here you must try it!

The rooms are not air conditioned and get very hot even when it is mild outside - we found the room difficult to cool down even with the window open throughout the night. Minor complaint but the walls seem very thin and there is bit of a gap between the bottom of the room door and hallway, which means you can really hear everything from neighbouring rooms and noise from the hallway - luck of the draw whether you are next to noisy people or not!

We loved the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff. The apartment was spacious for 4 people in a very quiet area. The staff were all very helpful and always had a smile. We would recommend the hotel to our family and friends, in the same way it was recommended by a family member to us.

As we were travelling in August it did get quite hot and a fan or AC would have made it more comfortable. A mirror in the bedroom that had a sink would also have been useful. An outside area in the sun with some comfortable chairs to read would have been a nice touch as well.

Nice family-run hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is absolutely amazing as a starting point for hiking, mountain biking, and various sports. I loved their sauna and made good use of it. The sauna goes hot enough (this can be problematic at some other hotels, but here it can be regulated, so that's really good). Actually, they have a whole nice little spa, and I really appreciated how they decorated it to look like a cave. The restaurant offers really nice dinners, comparable to a fine dining experience. The waiter was really knowledgeable, charming, and able to recommend wine and food that go really well together. The breakfast is simple and doesn't paralyze you with too many choices, and offers high-quality sustenance so you can start your day to enjoy everything this breathtaking region has to offer.

We had a family room which was very spacious and comfortable, so we had a sense of almost being alone in a small mountain cottage. Hotel was practically empty, but the owners and the staff did their best to let us feel that their level of services will remain on the same level. The atmosphere altogether in our room and the whole hotel is great. Therefore you cannot have better stay in Bohinj and you get the best value for your money.

We were a bit dissapointed with dinner options. I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel 10 years ago, and I remember that food was really great, both for dinner and for breakfast. This was not the case now, and we got the sense that this is not their strong point now. Breakfast options were also quite limited, but as I said above, dinner was a dissapointment. However, you can always look for other places in the vicinity.

The food here is exceptional particularly the evening meal. The location is great, only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the lake. The scenery is beautiful and the added bonus of having a balcony with a table and chairs was lovely. There is a bus stop outside the hotel with hourly buses to Bled and Ljubljana. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good power. We were very sad to leave!

Cozy rooms, beautiful interior design with amazing paintings, outstanding restaurant! There’s a sauna available but you need to book in advance so do it as the first thing when you arrive otherwise there’s a high chance it won’t be available. Breakfast was sufficient and very tasty, offering local products, like cheese,homemade jams etc. Just few minutes from the lake and there’s a bus stop that will take you up to the mountains for hiking trails. Super nice owner and restaurant staff. And very good wine selection!

What a lovely hotel. Everything was a little bit 'up market' so made us feel special staying here. Our rate included dinner & breakfast and both were great. Then dinner was classy and delicious, the waiting staff wonderful. Breakfast was an excellent buffet, really good thank you. The room was comfortable, good bed. All staff were very helpful, great service.

No air conditioning so it was a little warm until later on. A fan would help. The balcony is great, but the divide to the next room is not full so the poor woman next door got to see me stroll out to the balcony in my underwear. Oh well. Also no jug in the room to make a tea or coffee? Would have been nice, but did not really detract from our excellent stay and the food and staff were so good they still get a 10.

The hotel was welcoming and friendly from the minute we stepped through the door . Our room was lovely, bed comfortable. We ate at the hotel as they had set menus and a la carte to choose from and the food was delicious. The location for us was perfect. It was a 5min walk from the lake with all the activities at hand. The actual town of Bohinj was a bus ride away but we weren't interested in going there.

Upon arrival we were told we got the chocolate package though did not get any welcome drinks, nor the included chocolate bars. The massage received wasnt the type we ordered. Several yoghurts at the breakfast went sour, when I mentioned this via the booking messaging system afterwards, the response I received was in slovenian stating that they come from a farm, so essentially there was nothing they could do. Didnt bother replying. The place is too expensive. Thin walls between rooms.
