A hostel super well located in Tolmin, with 2 family rooms and a dorm. The staff was super helpful with all our requests. The hostel has a kitchen and nice lounge area, with armchairs and tables. Bedsheets and towels were provided which is always nice. A number of things could do with a little bit of fixing or improving (no curtains in the room, window that can't be open, etc.), nothing terrible though, and it's a well enough place to stay as a base for doing outdoor activities in the area, which are truly fantastic.

We were in a "private " room which was tiny, only just enough room for the bed and had to climb over this to get to a small space for a bag. Very thin plywood walls so that we could hear everything from the 6 bed dorm which we were right next to. I believe some of the other family rooms were bigger and brighter though

Very comfy bed, but room slightly cramped (small of the two double rooms at the end of the dorm). This is only a very minor point in comparison to all the pluses for a very well run hostel!! Highly recommend.

Spacious family room, the hostel wasn't crowded. Kitchen with fridge, spacious common area which you can bring bikes into. Great location in the center of Tolmin. Free parking provided. Various bars and restaurants close by.

Easy check in and friendly reception staff. Good value for money, well stocked kitchen with utensils. Warm, spacious common area. Somewhere for us to store our bikes.

Beds were not the most comfortable, but good for a hostel.

The people and the location are great. The place is kept very clean. Kitchen and living room area a hood area for eating and relaxing before bed.

Don’t expect a towel unless you grab one when the laundry is done.

A small downside is that the bathroom is in the mixed dormitory. We were in the room with 6 beds and we needed to go through the mixed dormitory to shower etc. This probably disrupted people sleeping in there.

Beds weren’t so comfortable and would definitely recommend bringing a face mask and ear plugs. The dorm room did get quite warm despite the AC being on all night (and making a bit of noise) though all in all it’s decent.

Huge and spacious! Common room was extremely comfortable and cozy and had movies and books. Kitchen was pleasant and clean. Bar downstairs made for a fun atmosphere. Bed was super comfy!
