It was a well made and well designed house. The view was stunning…once the mist lifted! Breakfast was wonderful - home made natural tea, home-grown veggies… it was lovely. And the staff were really helpful with booking things or deciding on what to do. We were a little nervous about whitewater rafting with young kids but the company they recommended were a brilliant mix of fun and safe! It’s easy to walk to several bars/cafes/restaurants but in busy times you might want to go early or book. Parking is free and easy. A great place for exploring all the natural delights around Bovec and the Soca valley - it’s a stunning location :)

Receiving, information upon arrival. A lot of proposals for activities, but we had our agenda (Juliana trail), so we didn't check any. Quiet, well isolated rooms. Exquisite breakfast with homemade specialties. Sauna is nice and private, with refreshings.

The apartment we were in didn't have any AC plug at the writing table in the bedroom, and only one at both sides of the bed, so it was either bedlight or phone/tablet/watch. Still, since one bedlight didn't work, 50% of decisions were made by the bedroom😏. Some of the premises is dark, and - due to the shared balcony / terrace outside of the apartments, one needs to put shades on, so the effect of views on surrounding mountains was very much hindered.

We booked comfort room but got upgraded to the apartment, which was amazing. Very spacious and clean. Staff is amazing, very helpful, kind and both reception staff and owners go above and beyond to help guests. We were able to book rafting through reception which was also very helpful. Hotel location is close to the river Soča, very central in Bovec.

Bed mattress was very firm and felt a bit uncomfortable.

On arrival we were greeted with a home made liquor, and taken to our room where we were told all the ins and outs of our stay. The location was great, we walked through town and had a car to visit the beautiful surroundings. We had a kitchen, which was great as we wanted that convenience. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Staff were exceptional, Roc especially helped with any guidance or request we had and had great recommendations also.

Some small repairs need some attention.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They offer you a homemade liqueur on arrival and provide advice on restaurants and things to do. We were very fortunate as they upgraded us to an apartment, which was very spacious. The hotel has numerous nice outdoor areas to sit and relax and also an area indoors. The majority of the breakfast is homemade - beautiful jams, cakes, salads, teas and elderberry juice. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was great.

The staff, breakfast buffet, room and location were a cut above the usual. The breakfast included fresh local and homemade food. Upon arrival we were offered a welcome shot of homemade black coneflower liquor. Every interaction we had with the staff was lovely. They are so friendly and efficient. Set in the Julian Alps this is the perfect location to explore the many waterfalls, hikes and towns. The town of Kobarid and its WWI museum was excellent as was the hike to Kozjak Waterfall.

We didn't want to leave.

Very nice hotel on the edge of town. Had a welcome shot of homemade schnapps, great on a rainy day. Rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good. They recommended a great little restaurant about 10 minutes away called Bistro 9:45. Also recommend Thirsty River Brewing for some awesome beers.

Simple clean and very helpful staff. The sauna was lovely definitely worth booking. The breakfast offered a range of options including plant based milk & lots of fresh local produce

The breakfast was extremely Good and handmade dishes were offered. The whole building, the common Rooms and the Apartment itself were lovely. our hosts were also super friendly (we got an room upgrade and breakfast at the First Morning was shown and explained to us). we also enjoyed the possibility to privately book the spa/sauna that is located downstairs.

Staff were exceptionally helpful. On check in had a free welcome drink and also given some local recommendations to check out. We did not feel like we were staying at a hotel in somehow felt very private. Overall was a lovely stay
