I travel extensively and this is one of the finest places we've had the pleasure of staying at. Yana made our stay extraordinary with such kindness and a constant smile. Her recommendations for restaurants and a rafting company were spot on. Breakfast taken on the terrace was a treat for the eyes and palate. As with everything else here, tremendous attention paid to tiny details such as the flower petals on some of the platters. The room was huge with a super comfy bed and amazing shower. Ample Free parking on site,with no need to reserve as stated.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at this romantic and historic hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious with working AC. The staff were all incredibly friendly, but the best part was the delicious and healthy breakfast. The eggs were always cooked perfectly, and the large selection of fresh, unsweetened fruits was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again.

The historic bathtub was fun to look at but the lack of a possibility to hang the showerhead anywhere higher than knee-high was a bit annoying.

Beautifully decorated hotel in stunning gardens. Great location, easy parking. I want to specifically mention the breakfast which was outstanding. The attention to detail, every item down to the butter was stunningly presented and tasted amazing. Although you helped yourself from a table I don’t want to call it a buffet because it was as though each item had been individually prepared. It was then eaten in beautiful gardens with wonderful views. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had a bar in the evenings if you want a drink

Not a dislike, but there is no kettle in the bedroom. I am sure if you asked the owner would get you hot water he was extremely helpful.

Unbelievable. This place is an absolute Gem. It was both cozy and stylish, comfortable and elegant. The location is perfect, walking distance to anything in town, and yet still on the outskirts. The staff, especially Yuri, are amazingly helpful and kind and give great tips of where to go, what to do, etc. Our room was enormous compared to many of the other rentals we've been to, and had great touches. The shower and bathroom were perfect and accommodating. The breakfast was the best we've had on our 2 weeks through Europe. They could charge 20 Euro alone just for breakfast, so I definitely recommend getting a room with it included. The spread of food, and display, and the comfortable seating in the garden solarium are unmatched. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this to anyone traveling near Bovec.

The staff was stupendous! Helped with reservations, special requests and very attentive during breakfast (a lovely dining room!). The breakfast was great - a good value. Good location away from the square. I liked the public spaces of the property - attractive and comfortable.

The bed room was not a comfortable place to hang out. The couch/chairs not comfortable, the bedding tired and worn. I happily discovered other places to hang - outside recliners, day bed on third floor, and sauna which had two recliners. I know it is a historical property - but comfort shouldn’t be sacrificed nor should it be cluttered (remove the large rocking horse).

The Vila, while decidedly a part of the main area, still feels secluded enough because of its wide area in the back. All the interior design choices remind you that this is not a copy-pasted hotel to just spend the night; rather, one where the curated details from the old elevator, the curved bar, the welcoming reception area, etc. all transport you to a different time. The staff were great examples of Slovenian hospitality and anticipated our needs (like towels for the river rafting adventure we were in town for). Our one regret is not spending more days here and in Bovec, but will definitely be coming back.

Unique property with really friendly and helpful welcome from the staff. Lady advised us on a good local operation and booked kayaking for us.with Ultimate Adventures. We really enjoyed the trip. Also recommended a restaurant in the square which was lovely. We spent some relaxing time reading in the beautiful garden which looks over a meadow. Display at breakfast is really amazing. Worth splashing out on for something special.

Beautiful art deco decor, lovely friendly and helpful staff who were really committed to outstanding service and gave great advice, breakfast was a work of art, room nice size with high ceilings and nice view from terrace, nice local wine - overall a beautiful boutique hotel.

The breakfast didn't start until 8:00 am but they went to lots of trouble to accommodate us when we needed an early start and even arranged for one of our tours to start later so we could enjoy breakfast. I thought the beds were hard but my husband thought they were perfect.

A boutique hotel in a pastoral area surrounded by a green landscape and mountains that rise to a great height. The hotel is carefully designed with an emphasis on details and unique items, which gives a warm and unique feeling. The room is big and clean, and the bed is comfortable. A rich, personalized breakfast, the selection is huge and designed so beautifully and invitingly. We sat on the balcony and looked at the pastoral yard. charming. Juri, the owner of the hotel is simply charming, helpful and welcoming at all times. We will definitely come back here.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and have always enjoyed it. Lovely rooms with some gorgeous views, and wonderful places to sit and read or journal (library, outside patio, etc.) And not to mention the delicious breakfast! There is a great spread every morning, and they can also make you some amazing scrambled eggs and a wonderful cappuccino to go with your meal. I would highly recommend staying here.
