The property is tastefully furnished with beautiful antiques and modern Slovenian oak furniture and is immaculately clean and well kept. The linens are beautiful with Slovenian embroidered motifs and beautiful wool rugs in perfect condition. The property is located in the center of the village across from the one restaurant (in a classic old hotel). The breakfast was incredible—homemade jams, farm cheese and yogurt, local farm butter and eggs, locally smoked meats and spreads, organic everything! I really enjoyed the homemade lemon elderflower syrup in my water. My children had the thyme mint syrup. Everything about breakfast exuded the owner’s good taste and pride. We’ll be back!

We loved everything! We went in summer, but there are double-pane windows and it seems very cozy for the winter. There is no air conditioning in the summer (the building is from 1913 and has 10 in. thick walls!), so you should not expect cold rooms in a heat wave!

Excellent location in Podkoren, very close to Kranjska Gora. Several ski slopes nearby, 20-25 minutes by car to Tarvisio in Italy and Villach in Austria. The breakfast is excellent, everything comes from local producers and is very tasty. The rooms are clean, tidy. The staff is extremely kind and helpful.

The breakfast area is a bit cramped, there could be slightly larger tables to accommodate people more comfortably at breakfast. True, this is the nature of the place, it is not disturbing. However, the Divine breakfast compensates for this. There are 9 rooms, but the yard can only accommodate 8 cars, the number of parking spaces could be expanded a bit.

This accommodation is truly delightful, making you feel as if you’ve stepped back into the charming good old days. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the cleanliness is impeccable, and everything is warm and cozy. The breakfast features delicious local ingredients, although a bit more variety throughout the week would be welcome, perhaps with eggs prepared in different styles, like scrambled eggs. We had a wonderful time enjoying Podkoren and Kranjska Gora, and I must particularly commend the staff for their kindness and hospitality during breakfast.

This place is amazing. Podkoren is a cute quiet Village just 7 min away from Kranjska Gora where you can find nice restaurants. Yet if you are too tired you have a restaurant just in front the B&B with a lovely terrace. The B&B is wonderful, is like getting into a fairy tale, nice mix between traditional and modernized room. Matea the host is the best host ever. With no doubt a place to return.

Leaving, we would have stayed for 3 more weeks.

We liked the design of the room, as the Slowenien tradition of using slippers within the building as well. Everything in the breakfast buffet was homemade or local products were offered.

Parking was a bit tricky as there was supposed to be space for about 7-8 cars in the backyard, but when we got there there was a tractor parked inside blocking the way. Therefore only two cars could park on the side that intended to be for four cars. The owner was really helpful and found the driver of the tractor immediately, so we could park our car in the backyard as well. Maybe painting parking lines would be useful. Parking outside on the small square is a bit pricey (however this is not up to the owner, of course).

Staying at Pr'Gavedarjo Eco Heritage B&B was a delightful experience. The B&B beautifully combines tradition with modern comforts, creating a unique and charming atmosphere. Time seems to flow differently here, especially when you gaze out of the apartment window at the stunning views of the Alps. The apartment and the entire B&B were impeccably clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any issues or questions we had. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay, featuring delicious local cheeses and meats that were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The overall atmosphere of the B&B perfectly matched the serene and picturesque surroundings, offering peace and quiet that allowed us to relax and spend time reflecting amidst the beautiful scenery.

Very cozy place with everything you need for your stay. It was definitely designed with passion. There were many traditional detailes in the room. The manager was kind and gave me an access inside before I finished the online checkin that is mandatory before arrival

I could mention just minor things. The breakfast doesn't have hot meal, just boiled eggs. The electrical sockets were located not really convenient, one is next to water sink, the othe is close to the floor

This was the first time we had experienced a hotel without staff. We were emailed a code for the box for the room to give us access to the key, took us a little time to cotton on to this. Once inside it was very nice, decorated with eco qualities in mind. Breakfast food was all sourced from local artisans and very tasty indeed. It is a custom in Slovenia to wear slippers indoors and so the hosts had left a shelf full of slippers for everybody to use indoors. The room was en-suite with the shower and toilet encased in glass, this was novel.

It was cozy, traditional and quiet. Close to Kranjska Gora and other places. Everything is ecologically oriented which for us is great. The breakfast was great - most of, if not all of the food was locally sourced - the yoghurts were top stuff! The room was spotless - very clean and tidy.

The concept of the glass bathroom is not quite our cup of tea. The bed was not comfortable - I was sliding off it during the night because the mattress was not as thick as a normal bed.

We really enjoyed our stay in Podkoren. The facilities and location exceeded our expectation, situated in a cute and beautiful village just outside of Kranjska Gora. The B&B Manager was very open, friendly, efficient and informative. The breakfast was exceptional, mainly organic-one of the best I have had in Slovenia. We plan to make it a regular stop on our travels en route to Croatia.
