The hotel is spotlessly clean and new, and is in a stunning area, the views are breathtaking! We had hired a car to drive around, you are 20mins from both the Italian and Austrian borders. The bedrooms are lovely and airy and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is also pretty good. We had a lovely balcony (room 9) the views were fabulous. Breakfast was continental, but a nice selection and with the option of omelette, eggs etc! The 2 photos are the view from our balcony.

The housekeeping staff could pay a little more attention to detail at times, sometimes the coffee/sugars weren't replenished and we didn't have any towels one day and had to go and ask for some - no one at reception but luckily found one of the housemaids who was very apologetic! Reception only seems to be manned when someone is checking in or checking out! The hotel website states that there is a bar in the hotel, this isn't quite correct - yes you can get a drink when the restaurant is open and serving food, but if you are there when the restaurant is closed or no one is in the restaurant, no one is around to serve you, so a little disappointing!

Absolutely loved our stay! The spa, employees and food were all amazing! We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and it was incredibly delicious. Beds were comfortable as was the bedding. And great shower with plenty of hot water and great pressure. There is also a nice hike that begins in the woods towards the back of the hotel to a pretty waterfall. The hotel has a small and really comfortable sitting area to relax after a hike or day out touring where you can enjoy drinks and light snacks. Super comfy!! Loved every minute of our stay!

We really had a wonderful stay but if I had to choose something I didn't like it would be... that the room was a bit warm for us and we didn't have much control over the thermostat in the room. While I did ask the staff to lower the temperature in our room, and they said they did, the room still felt very warm. We ended up opening the windows which made it more comfortable. We visited in the spring so there weren't any bugs but in the summer I'd really like to be able to control the thermostat in the room and for it to feel like the temperature I set it for.

The view of the mountains is incredible - one of the best views I’ve ever seen! The hotel is beautiful, modern and done to a very high standard. The room was clean and had a lovely balcony looking out towards the mountains (definitely pay for a Mountain View room). The breakfast included is huge and includes a charcuterie board, fruits, breads, cereals, hot drinks and hot food. There is a lovely modern spa that has two saunas and a steam room. The loungers overlook the beautiful mountains. Overall a fantastic stay and would highly recommend

The room was very warm even with the aircon on. Also the aircon would loudly click on and off which woke me up. There were a few fruit flies in the room and also noticed a few at breakfast.

It might not be the most convenient choice for families with small children, as it’s a bit far from the city center and lacks entertainment options on the premises.

Everything! The hotel is very nice, very well designed, the room was very spacious and it was very modern (modern heat control, lights control, etc) The best thing about the room was the bed and the pillows, the bed was amazing very comfortable and the pillows were very big (there were 4 of them) and they were very comfortable. We wanted to go skiing as early as possible but since the bed and the pillows were so good we stayed in longer! The spa/wellness area is also very well designed, it is very big compared to the size of the hotel and since of the ratio of hotel size and wellness area it cannot get crowded even if all people staying in the hotel come to the wellness at the same time. The restaurant is excellent (it is listed as a recommendation in the Michelin guide). The food was fabulous and very delicious. The breakfast was fabulous, a very great buffet and extra breakfast menu (a la carte choice between eggs or pancakes) and your choice of coffee included (we even asked for extra coffee one day and we got it free of charge!) The staff is very friendly and they are very willing to help you with everything. Since it is a small hotel, the staff even memorized us and gave us personalized suggestions (like to take a free ski bus that stops right in front the hotel instead of the car for which we would have to pay for parking since we came with ski equipment). We especially liked that personal touch (for instance we said that we wanted to go into the spa in an hour and when we got there we found reserved lie beds with the view for us) The area for storing skis (and I guess bikes in the summer) is also very big so it cannot get cramped.

Triangel hotel is a really fabulous modern hotel in a stunning location in the national park, an hours walk from Kranjska Gora (a lovely small town with restaurants and coffee shops) and has direct access to walks behind the hotel. A longer walk lake Jasna via Kranjska Gora also possible. There’s a really lovely waterfall walk directly behind hotel. It’s in a great area and if you have a car (we didn’t) even more opportunities to explore. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Fantastic shower and amazing beds. Staff are super friendly and welcoming, the staff at Triangel were the best we experienced in our trip to Slovenia. Breakfast is fantastic and delicious. Dinner was delicious. High end but not pretentious. The spa is excellent and included in room rate. There’s a drying room downstairs too which was useful.

Hotel is on a road and it’s hard to ignore this. We had a room at front of hotel , if we stayed again we would book one on the back facing the Julian Alps. I am particularly sensitive to road noise so this did dampen experience a bit. The radiator in room would randomly work but then not. We had some very wet days so utilised the drying room downstairs. Had this hotel not been directly on the road would be 10/10.

We spent an unforgettable time in this hotel. Everything is Just perfect, refined in every detail. the hotel is very clean, spacious and, above all, so quiet. Amazing view from the windows and terrace, you can relax and admire the beautiful mountains. The service is amazing, very helpful, nice and always smiling. As for the restaurant, there are no words to describe its taste, it is absolutely delicious.!!!! Fresh local products served in a beautiful way. Delicious breakfast, lunch, diner and the local wine. Everything in this hotel is just perfect. The entire stay exceeded our expectations We will definitely go back there!!!

Loved the view, neatness of the hotel and attention to details. The dinner was exquisite, ingredients are local and really fresh, you can really taste the natural flavours. Loved the calmness of the staff. The room was clean and spacious, we were upgraded to a room with a view to Julijske Alpe, which was very lovely.

I think the room could perhaps have something special to add to the relaxed atmosphere (perhaps a wooden boarding game?). A few things could be fixed, like the handle of the balcony door... I didn't like the pillows, one was too big, one was too low and soft, felt a bit outdated, almost like it didn't have much of the filler.

This hotel is an absolute gem! From the friendly check-in (which took all of a minute) to the room and the restaurant, everything was perfect. The room is very modern and there is good space to move around. I often hesitate to have dinner in a hotel's restaurant as I find that nearby restaurants often have more choice and lower prices. However the restaurant here is exceptional. It has an open kitchen, a feature that I have usually seen only in top notch restaurant and which requires tremendous confidence on the part of the chef. The food was fantastic! The staff is efficient and friendly. Here is just one detail that I liked: Rather than having the guests grab their breads from the breakfast buffet, each table is pre-loaded with a generous selection. The hotel is relatively new (in its third year) but functions like a well oiled machine. It's what you might expect if a bunch of close friends decided to open an operate a hotel together.

The bike routes from the hotel are incredible. You are right next to a road that is only open to cyclists and pedestrians and you can rent an e-bike and travel 100km+ through the mountains into Italy, as well as other routes! It was the highlight of our trip. Good selection of wines in the restaurant. Incredible view from the restaurant

We had a problem with the noise of our air con and they don't have a repair team after hours so we couldn't sleep. This is reason for 8/10 instead of 10/10
