this is the second time we stayed at this lodging. We had an apartment for 3. The only things that could have been improved is higher water pressure, and 180 degree reorientation of the room to get the view of the mountains. the breakfast was excellent, and remains as a highlight from our previous visit. The hosts are very nice and accommodating.

The view could have been on the Alps peaks rather than the hills and road behind the lodging. The lodging would benefit from a sauna or a hot bath to relieve pains from hiking.

It's really difficult to choose the best part of our stay in Livada, so I will just list the highlights (random order): -TOP breakfast: great quality of products, fantastic idea of the chef preparing eggs/sausages/pancakes etc. fresh for you to add to the standard buffet, possibility to eat outside with great view of the mountains; -sparkling clean apartment and bathroom; eco-friendly attitude is always a nice touch (recycling, towel washing policy); -comfortable beds, great balcony, everything designed for guest's convenience; on top of that there's a locked garage to store bicycles/skis and also a place to dry ski boots; -fantastic staff: everybody is incredibly friendly and welcoming, speaking great English; Kranjska Gora turned out to be a real gem; doesn't matter if you bike, hike or just enjoy the views. We recommend it and Livada to everybody; greetings from Poland to the Livada staff and the adorable cat :)

Friendly staff, and lovely refurbished rooms. Very comfy beds. Location is on the edge of town so there was some noise from the road, but it didn't keep us up at night, and in return you get great unrestricted views of the mountains! Breakfast was fabulous and included homemade yoghurt and butter, which was a treat.

The room listing stated that it had a fan, unfortunately it didn't, so we had some trouble sleeping when it was hot.

The view from our balcony was beautiful. The owners were kind, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was simply amazing- lots of options, including vegan options (delicious homemade jams, nice breads and fruits, good coffee). A cute cat named Charlie lives on the premises. Comfortable room with access to Netflix on the TV (for after the sun sets). Well located - within walking distance of the center of Kranjska Gora. We drove Virsic pass and visited the Soca valley / hiked Seminova Spisa, visited the Pericnik waterfall, spent a day in Bled (way too touristy, so happy not to have stayed there and in Kronjska Gora instead) and also spent a day at Lake Bohinj on our way to Kranjska Gora. Plenty to do from that location.

We loved it. It is not a five star hotel, but it’s super comfortable.

Penzion Livada has been a pleasant surprise for us. The guesthouse is in a strategic spot: very close to the center of Kranjska Gora and the entrance to the town from the main road, but at the same time in a very quiet location. We had total peace and quiet and that helped us rest the five nights we stayed there. Among the many positives is the excellent breakfast (everything was really fresh and abundant), one of the best we've ever had in similar accomodations. Also the exact spot where it is located is very close to the wonderful places that can be visited in the area. Finally, the staff is extremely kind and friendly. We would highly recommend Penzion Livada to anyone interested in a peaceful stay.

We liked everything.

The property is located at a good location to explore the area easily with a car. The room was spacious and clean with a big balcony to sit comfortably outside. The staff were polite, helpful and hospitable. Cable TV offers a wide range of channels both in terms of content type and language.

The price was relatively high for this type of property and offerings. The price included breakfast but the options were rather limited relatively to the price.

It's a really beautiful place. I traveled with my husband and we had a room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful Alps. The owner is very attentive, friendly, everything is very clean and welcoming. We really liked the breakfasts, there was always a lot of food, cheeses, delicious pancakes and much more. We are very grateful to the hotel!

Everything was great!

The hosts are amazing - so incredibly helpful and went the extra mile to help us as we were independent travellers trying to get around by bus. Rooms are quiet and comfortable with great views of the mountains, and the hotel is centrally located, close to attractions and restaurants. We also had a pleasant balcony from which we could enjoy the view. There's lots of storage in the rooms and the shower is great. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. There's a large supermarket conveniently located across the road. We'll definitely stay here again should we return to Kranjska Gora.

The hotel was fabulous with every need catered for. There was a great breakfast from the fantastic hosts that set us up for a day on the slopes. The room was cosy, very clean and well presented with good use made of the space with plenty of wardrobes and drawers etc and a lovely large balcony. The whole experience was wonderful with the hospitality of Ales, Eva and the staff at Penzion Livada second to none. We cannot thank them enough for all their kindness and for consistently going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We really felt like part of the family. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We'll be back.
