We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating, staying up late to ensure our check-in went smoothly. The on-site laundry services were a lifesaver for our extended stay, making it easy to keep our clothes fresh. Each morning, we enjoyed a healthy and diverse breakfast, complete with eggs cooked to our preference. The staff were also very knowledgeable about the local biking and hiking trails, providing great recommendations for our outdoor adventures. Our room had a fantastic view, and the hotel's location was perfect. It was within walking distance to a local kids park and the stunning Lake Jasna. Additionally, we were very close to several Michelin restaurants, making dining out a delightful experience. Overall, this hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Lovely large room with a view of the mountains. Bathroom and shower were much larger than you might expect for a room of this price - excellent value. Great breakfast selection. Very friendly and helpful staff; they sorted out taxi bookings for us in advance of our stay. Location is great, especially for walking.

Room got really hot even with the window open. If there was air conditioning, we couldn't find it and as we arrived so late we didn't want to bother anyone to ask for a fan - this is a minor issue though and didn't affect our stay, we just got lucky with the weather is one way of looking at it!

Great location and superb property. Didn't expect it to be that nice. Large apartment with two double bedrooms for just two of us. A large sitting room with TV and sofa. The bathroom was superb too. Lots of wardrobes and furniture. Entrance hall was well decorated. Three balconies with superb alpine mountain views. Not to forget, the bathroom also had (4th) balcony! Quiet and beautiful neighbourhood, walking distance to town centre and all facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff (even helped to take our luggage to the apartment on first floor). Car parking and charging facility. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed squeezing oranges ourselves for fresh juice.

AMAZING does not even begin to adequately describe this TREASURE of a hotel, complete with scenic snow peaked mountain looming behind! Exceptional warm welcome from the owner & it immediately felt as if you were staying with a family. The décor is charming & personal. Ultra-clean, light and bright rooms (we had booked 2). From this location, it is possible to head off directly for walking/hiking/cycling , and also within easy walking distance into town for restaurants. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The parking is a great plus too!

Fridge in the room was not working. Had brought stuff to keep cool, told staff who looked at it and said that is a problem already known. Since we had not touched the bed or toilet or the room, we offered that we could change to another room where the fridge would work. Was declined, instead we were given a bucket full of ice which of course did not keep the stuff cool for the rest of the day and the night...

first of all the suite we got was amazing with view...the staff were amazing especially enej and gregor . also the ladies working there... it was so clean .. spacious... calm .. with good parking .. the location is perfect and its 15 minutes from italia and 12 from austria ... it was amazing two nights... also i asked for a water heater and they gave me

it lacked a minibar and coffe machine in the room ...

The staff are very lovely, attentive, and helpful all the time. I was upgraded to a bigger room. There is free parking in front of the hotel. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. There are fried sausages, fried eggs, and fresh orange juice. It is a very good hotel and I will definitely use it again if I go to Kranjska Gora.

It's a bit far from the lake (1.5 km) but if you have a car you can drive and park nearby.

It’s a family run small hotel. Super friendly owner even helped us to unload luggage and brought it up to our room since there are no stairs. They even advised us on where to explore and dine. We were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite with balconies facing the mountains. Rooms very spacious and comfortable. Heating, wifi perfect. Free carpark on the premise. They have a few double, triple and quadruple rooms. Breakfast is adequate for a small hotel. Hotel doesn’t serve dinner but they recommended us to Hotel Lipa for dinner and it was really good esp. the fried tempura prawn since Michelin guide, Milka restaurant is closed on every Tuesday.The hotel is usually closed 2x annually ie. during Nov and the week after Easter. Highly recommended place with reasonable room rates, too !!!

Nothing that we didn’t like.

Throughout our stay we were welcomed by Miklic family in the most polite and kind way. Even though we arrived pretty late, Mr. Miklic personally waited for us, kindly welcomed us and suggested places to eat in the town which were still opened at such late hour so that we wouldn’t go to bed hungry. When seeing us over the next several day he showed keen interest in our travel and hiking plans and kindly arranged wine and snacks every evening. The breakfast was superb with great variety of food and drinks to choose from and several options for personalized egg meals prepared according to our wishes. All in all a very nice and comfortable place to stay in Kranjska Gora

This was our second visit to Hotel Miklic which is a recommendation in itself. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. Our room was spacious, comfortable and recently refurbished. The breakfasts are substantial and there is plenty of choice and dinner can be obtained at a number of restaurants in Kranjska . This is an ideal place to stay if you wish to explore the nearby countryside or visits the nearby ski slopes. We hope to return
