Nice rooms in a lovely guest house. The staff were excellent, e.g. at dinner my husband wasn't sure what wine to get and he took the time to bring out two to taste, considering it was reasonably busy I think that went above and beyond. The location is nice, very quiet and we stayed the night before we flew out so it was very convenient to drive to the airport from there. This place is very good value and the 10 Euro breakfast was very nice.

The only very minor issue was the curtain had come off its rail in our room so looked a little shabby, otherwise the room was very nice

Enchanting place in the beautiful Slovenian countriside, rich of small and big legacies of yhe past. It's just in front of the national technical museum, which is definitely worth a visitato especially if you're traveling with kids - but the cars and motorcycles collection in particular is great at any age. Great breakfast and it also had vegan options.which I world not take for granted in a guesthouse in the countryside as well as the electric charger. The staff was help ful and friendly

Everything was just fine. Maybe the triple room was a little on the smaller side, more suitable for a double, but considering what I spent I'm not complaining🙂

Everything was just perfect. Starting from the location, which was so close to the main road and on the way of our trip to Italy, then the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The breakfast was so tasty. Rooms were clean and you could feel the fresh air. The place around the hotel is also perfect and quite area. We were 3 families, and all of us enjoyed our stay at Bistra. We recommend it to everyone. We also had coffee befire checkout, and they didn't calculate the coffee.

It is very close to the highway, the environment is super cute, the food is great and the room we booked was clean and comfy. Staff is kind, too. We stayed for 1 night.

A net would have been appreciated on the window because a mosquito got into the room and kept us awake during the night. This is really a tiny thing, all in all we had such a great time there.

Great place not far from the motorway, stayed there just for 1 night as an interim stop. There is free parking and a restaurant with good choice of meals, as well as various drinks. The meal was great as well as the beer and coffee. Staff very friendly. The room was clean, the bed comfy and bathroom of good size. The only downside to an extent was the sloppy ceiling as it was on the second floor, and this caused some discomfort. I would recommend the place for few nights or just to stop and have a meal and drink.

super cute guesthouse, I loved the area, and the style. Staff was very kind and the restaurant offered such an amazing menu it was really hard to choose from it. We arrived very tired after a very long trip and this was a lovely oasis, we had our hearty food under the trees, surrounded by nature. Breakfast was also very good.

The host provided very clear instructions for the self check-in, which made everything easy. The room was tastefully decorated, and the whole hotel felt like a beautiful museum. Great value for money – the room was spotless, and the breakfast was a real highlight of our stay. Thank you so much!

Everything was perfect

This was by far the best place we stayed during our holiday. The staff were very helpful, the location is great and very quiet and the breakfast was perfect. The room was lovely and the beds very comfortable. We ate a delicious meal there and found both food and drinks very reasonably priced.

The place is authentic. A nice hostel’s restaurant for dinners. A great old machinery and vintage cars museum next to the hotel.

The breakfast experience could be better if the morning staff pays more attention to food/coffee/cutlery availability.

We were looking for something close to a Michelin star restaurant, that we wanted to visit. And this was a good option for it. Had a beautiful run in the morning in this countryside. Breakfast was simple, but ok.
