DAM Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel that is well situated to explore not only the Slovenian wine region, but also to easily explore all of Slovenia's many charms. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and beautifully landscaped, including a newly added pool. There is a lovely bar that serves the restaurant for pre/post dining cocktails and is also used for the breakfast service. Michelin starred DAM Restaurant situated in the hotel is something to be experienced! It is helmed by the charming chef Uroš Fakuč and every course is personally supervised by him; mouthwatering seafood prepared to perfection! And highly recommend getting the wine pairing; Uroš pairs every course with wine from the region. The meal was so good, we went back the next night; chef Uroš prepared a seven-course meal just for us so that we didn’t have to eat the same thing twice! Talk about personalized service. If you are visiting Slovenia, especially the wine region, there is no reason to look any further than Dam Boutique Hotel and Restaurant!

I highly recommend the DAM Hotel for your next stay. Our experience with Uros as our host was truly exceptional. His helpfulness and warm demeanor made our stay memorable from the moment we arrived. We were welcomed with genuine hospitality, setting the tone for a fantastic experience throughout our stay. The combination of Uros' attentiveness, the welcoming atmosphere, and the overall quality of the hotel made it a standout choice. One highlight of our stay was the fantastic fine dining experience at the hotel's restaurant. The culinary offerings exceeded our expectations, providing a delightful array of flavors and impeccable presentation. The restaurant's ambiance complemented the exquisite dishes, creating a truly memorable evening.

The hotel is perfectly new and offers huge rooms with excellent equipment and very tasteful interior. Also, a free parking lot is a big advantage. The owner has built his dream here and runs the hotel adjacent to his Michelin star restaurant with a love and passion we found adorable. We did not get to try the food in the restaurant-all booked out-but saw all the happy people enjoying dinner when returning to our room-it sure is delicious.

The location is not ideal-an industrial zone just outside Nova Gorica. Still, the city center is within walking distance, but we were a bit unlucky with the weather, which put a small downer on an otherwise nice experience. I think when staying there, one should combine it with a visit to the restaurant.

Everything was exceptional. A truly superb stay. Dinner at the restaurant was fantastic. Very memorable. We loved the rooms-decor, size, finishing touches and attention to detail. The breakfast was special too. Thank you for wonderful service too.

Our stay at DAM was amazing! Uros was incredibly helpful in setting up wine tastings at local venues and in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We wound up staying an extra night! The rooms are spacious and well equipped. If you are looking for a luxurious place to stay in a central location to many different attractions (Venice, Brda, and Predjama are all a short drive a way) this is definitely where you should stay. The owner is an outstanding courteous, friendly and customer focused host. The quality of the food and the service of the restaurant was an outstanding experience. Just faboulous, to tell the truth! The rooms are very tasteful equipped, just stronger light would be helpful.

Amazing stay at the DAM hotel!!! Uroš Fakuč was very sweet and helpful for the entirety of the stay. I tried the tasting menu at the hotel for the evening and it was incredible! Very nice breakfast as well.

The service of both the hotel and restaurant was phenomenal. Nicest service I can remember receiving! Highly recommend making reservations for the boutiques restaurant, where the same family presents beautiful dishes (loved the risotto)!
