It may be most caring approach to the guests I have ever experienced. Owners were super friendly and kind to us from the beginning to the end of our stay in every detail. Any question or wish we ask for was quickly resolved. For example during our stay my gf touched the lamp by the bed and it fell down, probably it was already broken. In any case owners fixed it basically till the next day without need to explain anything in detail. Also they helped us when we wanted some extra blankets (as we are not used to sleep under one shared blanket which was originally provided), or perfectly cleaned or resolved things in the room, which often exceeded our expectation.

The only problem we experienced is additional bed, which is basically sofa. It is not very comfortable for adult, as the mattress is very soft and you are going to sleep basically in hole as it is not straight. It was however fine for our 8 years child (we just have to convince to sleep on his own, as he was a bit scared in the beginning of our stay).

The owner Patrik met us and showed us the apartment which was spotlessly clean and well equipped. There was parking on site and a nice patio area with a table and chairs. The owner also has a restaurant only a few minutes' walk away and the food was excellent. It takes around 10 minutes to walk from the villa to the centre of town. We would not hesitate to stay here again. '

Everything! Beautiful, well thought out and luxurious space. Two balconies, one which was a private terrace surrounded by garden. Penny was full of local knowledge and very welcoming. Had a very delicious meal in their restaurant. Our waitress was so helpful and cheerful. We had a great experience tasting the local schnapps...the skull and crossbones one blew our heads off! An experience for sure. Thanks to both Penny, her chef husband and our waitress for a meal to remember. Will come back in a heartbeat. Tomaž our host was exceptional, messaging us clear instructions on how to check in and meeting us with a very warm welcome. The room was very clean and the facilities were great for a base to explore Nova Gorica and the Soca valley. The bed felt like a Super King size and we had a great night's sleep.

Perfect location if you want to visit both cities, Nova Gorica and Gorizia in Italy. Especially with the bikes that are available for free. Also Soča River is a well accessible destination by bike for a little swim. Tomaž is a very kind and welcoming host. Thank you!

Villa Burbonka is really beautifully presented and very close to the railway station in Nova Gorica. The room was superb with fridge, sink and kitchen facilities. There was also a smart TV, air con and fully controllable lighting. The bathroom was excellent with a huge shower cubicle and wash hand basin. A hair dryer was also available in the room. There are free bicycles for guests to use, which made exploring the town and the short trip Gorica across the border into Italy a dream. Our host was exceptional, as he went out of his way to take us to and pick us up from the bus station, when we had a visit to a nearby vineyard booked. Highly recommended and a pleasure to stay here.

Great and comfortable place! I loved the bikes I could use to get around, the super comfy bed, waking up with a view of the valley and bird song... This place exceeded my expectations.

The apartment was very stylish, modern with quirky tastefully touches. Super clean and very comfortable with a beautiful landscape view. We loved the attention to details like the lighting, the electric blinds, the slippers, the bathroom accessories and the exceptionally comfortable bed. The breakfast is available with a charge but it was really nice, abundant and delivered to the apartment. I would highly recommend this place and if I travel again in the area, I will certainly trying to stay there again.

Personal preferences would like some sort of separation between bed and living space. Everything was great!
