My wife and I were warmly greeted by couple-owners Allan and Sheryl; they actually walked out to meet us as we were pulling into the parking lot. We travel extensively and cannot recall a nicer, warmer welcome anywhere. The location of the home is perfect, about 3km from Cape Agulhas and the lighthouse, and I was able to jog to/from the southern tip along a stunning coastal road. Our room was very nicely furnished and the made-to-order breakfast from their daughter Tash exceeded our expectations. Dinner recommendation was also excellent and convenient.

Absolutely nothing and would stay here again without hesitation.

We loved our one night stay at Agulhas Ocean House. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely private deck out the back. The back garden is lovely and the common living room on the top floor has stunning views of the ocean. Sheryl and Allan are hands on hosts and interested in chatting with their guests, we had some great conversations with them. Sheryl recommended a nearby restaurant for dinner and even made a reservation for us. They personally made breakfast the next day because their cook was away and it was great. The location is perfect and close to all the top attractions in Agulhas. We highly recommend staying at this lovely guest house if you are coming to Agulhas.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I liked pretty much everything. The hosts are very friendly, the breakfast is amazing, the view is great, and it is just fun to explore the area. Sheryl and Allan, thank you for the lovely breakfast and the visit recommendations. I went to the small bookshop and bought a book and most importantly: one of those lovely honey jams. I was so happy about it and intended to take it back home with me. Unfortunately, at my next stop, the baboons stole my honey. It sounds funny, but I was indeed pissed off, hahaha. I look forward to coming back, and next time I'll buy 2X honeys, and no one is going to steal them.

Incredible stay, time we arrived and met by the hosts. Offered tea in the upstairs lounge and chatted. Made to feel at home. The room was excellent. Mirror next to the hand basin for shaving. Bathroom superb. Bed comfortable. View excellent. Went the extra mile for something I asked to do. Breakfast excellent . Superb hosts ,arrived as guests ,left as friends. Amazing position,very close to Parkrun,lighthouse and the reserve . Stay too short. Thanks Sheryl and Alan

This hotel is very modern with excellent facilities throughout. Allen and Sheryl are excellent hosts with lots of advise on things to do and where to go / eat which was really appreciated. Their lovely welcome, generally open and interesting chats, and sincere farewell made a very big difference, which we had not experienced at any other place we stayed in during our Cape road trip. The breakfast was exceptional even though they were fully booked, Allan still took the time to guide us on our road choices onward to Bettys Bay.

Nothing....really welcoming people and place to stay.

This family run B&B is perfection. From the moment we booked from walking through the door we completely feel in love with this beautiful place. The location right on the sea front is to die for with views all the way down the coast. The garden at the back with comfortable seating and shade after a long day on the beach is perfect. The breakfast is great, fresh fruit, home made jams ( the fig was our favourite) or a cooked breakfast it was spot on. The place is spotless the lovely girls do a great job and with Allan and Cheryl always on hand to tell a story, give amazing local advice or just bring you a coffee they just made our short stay here so memorable. This is one place we would have loved to have stayed longer and we hope one day we come back to.

There is nothing to dislike

Wonderful hosts, great location, stunning views and delicious breakfast. Our stay was perfect. The house was easy to find event though we came after sunset. The host was waiting for us with a hot tea and a fire started in the fireplace. We got complimentary upgrade of the room. The room was spacious with an ocean view and very comfortable bed. In the morning we ate our first South African breakfast and it was very rich and delicious. I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was perfect.

Everything at Agulhas House was exceptional.. We both felt not just like guests but friends from the moment we arrived. To step out from our accommodation and view the perfect turquoise sea was wonderful. Sheryl and Allan are perfect hosts who clearly value those who stay with them. We had a choice of food at breakfast. They booked an evening meal for us on our first night. They are so knowledgeable too telling us where we could spot the unique local wildlife. A truly great stay and one we would love to repeat sometime in the future. Thank you.

Nothing to not like. How can you improve outstanding?

The best hosts that I have ever had! Sheryl and Alan came out to greet us when we arrived. They offered us tea in their beautiful lounge with it's gorgeous view of the ocean. They advised us what was available in the area and even booked a restaurant for us. The accommodation was spotless, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended 👌.

Clean rooms , great location, tasty breakfast and the nicest hosts! Sheryl and Allan are simply amazing! They gave advice for exploring the sourrounding and even made a dinner reservation for us. Sheryl borrowed me her jacket because I lost mine. Such lovely people who took such great care about us! We‘d stay there again if we‘re ever back in the area! Thank you so much !
