A Fantastic Week at The Premier Resort Cutty Sark– Highly Recommend! We had the pleasure of staying for a week, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The hotel is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience, and it made our vacation truly unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond. From the front desk to housekeeping, every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and professional. They really made us feel like VIPs and were always available to offer recommendations or assist with any requests. Overall Experience: We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The attention to detail, excellent service, and top-notch facilities made this hotel stand out as one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. If you’re looking for a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy outstanding hospitality, look no further than Premier Resort Cutty Sark. We can’t wait to return!

There was nothing not to like. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The check- in staff were super friendly and efficient. The porter was super efficient and friendly. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The GM and all of his staff has a culture that says “Welcome to our hotel, we are here to give you the most memorable experience for all the right reasons” Every staff member from the GM to the cleaning staff were super efficient and friendly. The food was of an exceptional standard. The cleanliness throughout the hotel and all the entertainment areas was noteworthy.

Nothing.

The staff, the pools, the beach..our room was neat and clean...it was facing the beach. New towels. Complimentary tea...because I love tea. ❤️

The carpet in our room had a damp smell... I think it was because of the fridge. I disliked that they said they have car hire services, this was the old meter taxi vibes with unclean seats. And it costs more than an Uber. I took the shuttle option because I thought it was the hotel shuttle, our arrival time was late, and I was traveling with children. I would have hired a vehicle at the airport if I knew. I felt trapped by this form of travel. The place is remote Uber does not come there

Coming from the Travel Industry and knowing that everyone's needs differ, I overlooked a few of the negative reviews and decided to give Cutty Sark a try as opposed to our regular place of choice for Holidays. I was pleasantly surprised, Jacque and his team were very accommodating to our requests. The cleaning staff are fantastic and the rooms have the most pleasant smell enhancing the feeling of total relaxation. The reception team, waitressing stewards, porters and entertainment staff all add their contribution in ensuring that guests are comfortable. Guests are spoilt for choice with the breakfast buffet.

Meals of the Al Carte menu were not at its best in terms of preparation, the chef did try to compensate at dinner by preparing a complimentary platter being delivered to our table, which we did appreciate, however more attention needs to be placed in this department as Food is the most important aspect to any holiday.

The rooms are nice with modern finished and overall look and feel of the hotel is modern. Really good value for money and will definitely be returning. Lovely child friendly environment and the kids goody bag on arrival is such a lovely touch! I love that the hotel had easy access to the beach and wish we could have enjoyed the outdoor more but the weather didn't permit. Despite this we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the hotel and will be returning for sure or opting to stay here when visiting Aliwal Shoal to dive. Staff were really friendly too and welcoming from the minute we arrived. The buffet at dinner and breakfast was good. Not a massive selection but good nonetheless.

Leaky roof in the diving hall needs repair. Dining hall chairs need to be deep cleaned as some had stains. Waiters are not very attentive to guests or paying attention should a guest require their service. A few times I had to ask for things twice or walk to the front desk to ask for service. I don't think it's ill intent at all as they were friendly just require a greater customer centric focus.

The warmth and friendliess of staff. We felt the spirit of our beautiful Kzn "Ubuntu" Cleanliness Quality bed linen and towels. Fresh flow of fresh air from reception kitchen lounge area and rooms. Classy furniture fittings.

Windows were dirty, we could not see the beautiful sea view that we signed up for. Although we asked for them to be cleaned and they were quick to come and clean them. We felt that the room should have been prepared in advance for us. We had to constantly ask for extra towels to cater for 2 people in the room.

So I booked a standard room then when I arrived they upgraded me to a family room as I was there to celebrate my birthday 🎂. I really enjoyed the food(breakfast), and the restaurant food is affordable and delicious as well. The views are so beautiful and it was clean and the staff was wonderful and helpful. Definitely going back again.

The inner bed comforter had a small stain but It wasnt a train smash. The carpet is dirty as I was wearing white socks(it's needs a wash).

I loved the buffet dinner and breakfast. The food was very delicious. The location was so perfect, I like how easy it is to get to the beach. Loved waking up to the sound of ocean waves. The staff was very friendly, the guy who was helping us is very good at his job. [Ntuthuko]. Everyone was friendly and everything was convenient. I wish I could've stayed more... but I will definitely be back soon with my family since there are a lot of games and activities for children. The swimming pools were very nice as well. 100% The room was super clean with soft pillows and linen. The air-conditioner /heater works very well and the bathroom was super clean.

I wish we could've gotten music channels in our TV.

Hotel has been nicely renovated and modernised and location is excellent. Having the sea view was most welcome, a lovely site to see each day.

Carpets in rooms give the room a clammy atmosphere particularly when hot or humid. The Mclaren aircons in the rooms tend to be noisy and located too close to the bed. When set on cooling, those sleeping closest to aircons can be uncomfortable. I understand the need to avoid having aircons on outside of building for aesthetic reasons however the current setup may need to be reconsidered in the long term.

The kitchen staff were really kind, they cooked porridge every morning for my infant because that's what she likes. They offered my children a waffle. We really felt welcomed, safe, well taken care off and well nourished. The hotel is very clean and the food is good. Cocktails are expensive but it's nice to sip them and relax near the infinity pool🥂😍

Please buy ingredients for Mojito!!! Couldn't buy it because there were no mint leaves 😭💔
