The waterpark, buildings and rooms are exceptionally well maintained, everything looks brand new. Given the limited number of chalets, nothing was overcrowded during our stay. The kids loved the pools and paddle cars. Our luxury tent was well-equipped for a short stay.

On our day of check-in, after spending all day at the pools, we arrived at our tent only to realise there is no hot water. A maintenance guy arrived at our tent within minutes and found that the geyser was off. This was a slight inconvenience at most. Pillows are in dire need of replacement. You might as well be sleeping on a single sheet of linen.

The breakfast was perfect ,staff were friendly and the facility is top notch .i really enjoyed each and every moment of been there.

The wifi was not working so i couldn't use even my own because of network problem i did report it but they couldn't resolve it immediately which is one thing that makes me to spend more time outside the facility. One other thing they must atleast advise us to use bakkies or 4x4 vehicles as the gravel road to inside is too long.

Comfortable rooms; braai was nice because it could be used as braai, oven & stove; useful kitchenware; aircon was very good; water park was fun; picnic table on balcony was nice; dirt road to accommodation was do-able with a normal car (although it was not a great road). There is a shop with very basic food items, ice, ice cream, drinks & snacks. It gets busy on weekend days with day visitors, but during the week it's nice and quiet. Overall, we did enjoy our stay, but a few things made it a little less comfortable and didn't completely meet expectations.

Wifi didn't work (even after asking for it to work) and there is hardly any cell phone signal. There is no restaurant (yet), only a take-away for simple burgers, chips and toasties. No alcohol licence for the shop (yet). Pool could use more regular vacuuming. Loud music during the day on Saturday where the rooms are. Only water tap in room is the bathroom sink which you also need for cooking, and it's super low so it's hard to get the kettle underneath and not convenient if you need to cut fruit etc. Also no dish cleaning supplies - staff can wash it for you but you have to ask. An extra tap with some cleaning supplies would be useful. No curtain for the door, which is glass, so the outside light comes in.

The service was out of this world. I checked in on the 30th of December 2024 and it was raining. My car was full of mud and dirt, I woke up the following morning and my car was fully washed and clean. The receptionists were amazing and very welcoming. Theo was/is very helpful and hands on. The guy is very kind and supportive. I definitely rate Lethabong 100/10. The staff is very friendly and forever smiling 😃. They go beyond the call of duty. Well done guys on such an amazing customer service 👏 👍 👌

Lovely family get away, we enjoyed everything the Lodge had to offer, the staff was so helpful. Special thank you to the lady (I did not get her name) in reception that upgraded our room and having so much patience with me and treating us with kindness and respect. The weekend was perfect and will definitely visit again.

No complaints about the Lodge, the site just need to have the correct photos that corresponds with the actual room you paid for. You think you getting the nice room then you get there and its totally not what you saw on booking.com

We booked the luxury tent as a family of 5. The tent is quite spacious and has the necessary facilities, equipment and comfort for a self-catering venue. The tent has an air-conditioner which is helpful in the Thabazimbi heat. I also liked the Jacuzzi outside the tent and the patio where we could enjoy our breakfast. We spotted some animals in the lodge. The Waterpark was a hit for kids and adults. The pools were clean, and not overcrowded, the residents and day visitors were well-mannered. The water kept us cool during the entire stay.

To get to the lodge from the main road, there is a gravel road of 7 km, which can be uncomfortable to drive in a small car. Fortunately, we were traveling in an SUV. There were a lot of flies, mosquitoes, and other bugs in the area, which is not the lodge's fault. I would advise other travelers to carry mosquito repellent, lotions, insect sprays, and food nets.

All the staff was helpful and friendly... food was unexpected good... we did not have good weather unfortunately but the warm pool did make a difference. Facilities we all clean and up to standard.

Lodge room was a bit small for family of 4..no water outlet for making coffee/fill up kettle etc..wash out a dish... need a clothing horse to dry out the wet clothes...The signage to the property can be made a MORE clearer and NOTICABLE as the other signs over power the board and we drove past..couple of other families as well ...

Friendly host. Beautiful, clean environment. Great facilities. It was winter so we didn't use the pools but it all looked great. Safe and secure area. Extra blankets were provided since it's winter. Enjoyed the games.

A little stretchy travel to the venue on gravel about 8kms but manageable. One of the beds had a squicky sound when sleeping, a little disturbing as we all slept together. The water was not very warm to shower, quickly got cold.

We stayed in the luxury tent It was spacious even for a family of 5 Reception was wonderfully friendly Animals come right to your doorstep, which is absolutely amazing. In the morning, you can lie in bed with the sides of the tent open and just watch the animals. Night patrols check up on each tent Lifeguards are not overbearing or in your face The private pool was wonderful, especially to relax in the afternoon All staff are friendly and helpful Will definitely visit again

The shop is ridiculously expensive. R40 for Coke Zero R50 for 5L water None of the items have prices until you get to scan at the paypoint. Guys please add prices (CPA) and relook at your pricing. The water at the Waterpark smelt horrible when the park was busy. Please monitor the water quality when busy. I had to complain the next day before anything was done about it. If the water smells horrid, then something is wrong. It smelt like dirty river water soaked in dirty socks. Pizza at the restaurant was average.

The place is great, I like the fact that they compensated us with free game drive as a substitute for the under construction water park.

They need to do something with the gravel road, it is far too long and some of us are using smaller cars. We understand you have animals, but to avoid speeding cars put a tar road and speed hamps. That gravel is not good for our cars and the goods we carry.
