'A home away from home '...this is how Mont Fleur B&B should be labeled. With its beautifully landscaped gardens sprawling with lush vegetation and surrounding a clean water swimming pool the residence resembles to a mini-paradise inviting to relaxation and meditation. Clean rooms, comfy beds, delicious breakfast (the cake is something you will remember) and only five minutes of walk to the beach and shopping center. However, the charm of Mont Fleur is Denise who made our stay memorable with her friendly and ready to help nature. This was our best holiday in South Africa. Thank you, Denise...we will be back!

The wifi connection was intemittently disrupted but this was weather permitting and no fault of anybody.

Lovely accommodation we had everything we needed for a comfortable 2 night stay. Great hearty breakfast with ‘real’ sausages, perfectly cooked to each of our personal preferences. Very welcoming host, Lou always had time for a chat and made us feel very much at home. The location is perfect, a pleasant short stroll into the town, restaurants or waterways, fabulous views out to the ocean, lovely area to relax by the pool, one of the two detached rooms we booked even had a barbecue although we didn’t get the chance to use it. I would highly recommend Mont Fleur and hope one day to return

Personally we found nothing that we didn’t like, the only thing I can think to put here is that there a quite a few steps to the main house and breakfast room that could possibly be a bother to those with walking difficulties.

We had an extremely friendly welcome by Denise and she gave us lots of useful tips about the surrounding and also where to go on the following day on our way towards Sedgefield. We had booked the chalet and were very pleased with it. The chalet was cosy and nicely decorated with coffee making amenities and a bath room with a bath tub. In the morning we enjoyed the tasty breakfast. The B&B is located just a 10 min walk from the town center of wilderness, where you'll find many nice cafes ans restaurants. We walked back in the evening, when it was already dark, but felt really safe all the way. Nice bonus was the Wifi, which was also working while loadshedding.

We loved the antique furnishing of the establishment, all well kept. Louis, our host, was extremely welcoming and shared many interesting stories, which we enjoyed very much. Our room was private and very comfy. Breakfast was delicious and well presented. We felt safe although there were no high fences around the property. The Wilderness town is interesting with many eateries and coffee shops (especially the Mozart Cake!!!) Can recommend the guest house to anyone wanting to get away from the bustle.

One of the best places I've stayed on my trip so far. Denise and Lou are the warmest and most hospitable people you could ever wish to meet. They go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome. Their staff also were super lovely. The breakfast is just delicious, you even get a menu card! I absolutely loved the freshly baked muffins. As for the negative review below, what absolute rubbish, if you were so concerned for your mothers well being, you'd have made sure that all the requirements were taken care of beforehand. Am sure there's accommodation in town without stairs for a start.. It's not the hosts duty to run you around like your own private taxi service either. Some people think every guesthouse should be run like a 5 star hotel, ridiculous!

Clean, warm and cosy accommodation with views of the lagoon and close to restaurants and the highway. Friendly and accommodating host who agreed to waive the late fee due to the road works and bad weather which caused a delay in our arrival. Delicious breakfast. Wonderful conversation with our friendly host Denise. Thanks we enjoyed our stay, we will be back!

It felt like "home". The view is too beautiful. Staff are warm and friendly. Also very knowledgeable and informative on the area. No reason to be bored - lots of books and a peaceful garden with swimming-pool. We slept so well.

Breakfast was very nice, we really enjoyed it. The owner is very understanding and went out of his way to assist us and make our stay enjoyable.

Booking.com as arrangement must be done by them and your struggle to get assistance. We still waiting for refund and e-mail communication fails. Customer service is bad as you do not get through to someone to assist.

The location is perfect as 10 minutes to walk into the Wilderness. The views are beautiful. Denise was a great owner and always helpful and lovely to chat to. Her staff are all very helpful and friendly. A very relaxing property to stay at.
