Breakfast was fantastic. A big choice. The location of the Hotel wonderful. The lady Prudence at the reception very very helpful and professional.

The hotel needs some work to be done. It needs to be refreshed... It looks old especially the rooms facing the small inside garden(which was lovely...)the wood on the outside veranda needs to be replaced and refurbished. The doors not nice, the lamps very old. The size of the room was lovely but the plugs were not working properly and in the bathroom there was a loud noise coming from the air extractor, it was tiring after a few minutes.

Very spacious, Quiet, great position, easy to find and park. Perfect for a stop if on a road trip. Friendly, laid back Staff. Excellent Breakfast.

Hotel as a whole, a little tired but very clean. Quite a bit of character and history!

The staff was absolutely amazing...

When maintenance wanted to enter the room even though I told them I was in the shower. My husband, unfortunately, forgot to double lock it again after checking on the noise in the hallway. The heater didn't work. The wardrobes couldn't close. I used elastic bands to keep it from opening ... but other than that... we had a great time.. thanks a stack

The Variety at the breakfast was great. It catered for everyone. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom too. The location is fantastic, we could walk each evening to a different restaurant, which was so nice.

Breakfast our last day was not so nice. I don't know if the breakfast staff was aware that there would be a significant increase in guests. They only had one grill station (eggs) and there was a que. They should have had a second for the amount of people who were in the hotel. Due to the increase, guests also had to wait for containers to be filled with food again. You could see that the chicken livers the second batch was made in a hurry. Did not have all the nice peppers, etc in it.

We had a very good stay. The breakfast was particularly excellent. As were the breakfast and reception staff. Parking is easy and accessible. Great restaurants are within walking distance.

First off the housekeeping staff were very pleasant. However, three times DIFFERENT housekeeping staff walked into our room without any announcement or knocking (showing that this is presumably allowable by housekeeping management). This was extremely disconcerting. We did have the Make Up Room sign up but it had been up since 8am and rooms were only cleaned at 2pm so we can't be prepared every minute of those six hours for a stranger to suddenly be in our midst. Also the huge noise made by groups of housekeeping staff in the corridors really impact the quiet enjoyment of the room. I suggest a bit more training as the above were not isolated incidents.

Location: Situated in the heart of Wilderness and within walking distance of shops, restaurants & beach/ lagoon. You have the option of exploring or staying at the hotel and enjoying the facilities. Family Room: Has a bar fridge, kettle with tea, coffee, etc, aircon and tv with dstv channels. Beds and cushions are very comfortable. Room service: Good quality food at very affordable prices. Also, very quick and efficient service. The hotel is beautiful with facilities such as pool, putt putt, chess, padel/ tennis court and spar facilities. It also has a lot of lounge areas which is great. Breakfast: full buffet with an halaal section. Teas, coffees & juices included. Very satisfied with our overall stay and will definitely be back.

The room has a divider with a sliding door to split the room but it blocks out all natural light to the "main" room. Also, the "main" room has a tv but its set up in such a way that persons in the second room can't watch.

The staff were friendly and attentive - helping us find parking and assisting with bags even though the hotel was full. The shower had great pressure with hot water and lots of space. The bedding and towels were clean - even if a little on the older side of their lifespan. The padel and tennis court looked new and floodlit - and on any other day we would have used them. There are lots of good eating spots within 200m walking distance of the hotel.

The hotel is old and rather tired - coming across like a relic from the 1970's that in it's day would have been special. The windows in our room struggled to close - and I had to go outside and force the one window closed from the outside. (There are no security bars on the windows). The bed was a little on the soft side - and has probably seen better days. There was no bar fridge in the room. The TV reception was poor on a number of channels.

Staff were very friendly and the facilities on offer are plenty. Hotel is very lovely. Breakfast was amazing

There are a few maintenance issues like an outside door unable to close properly allowing in the ice cold weather during the night. Housekeeping needs to pay attention to the number of towels given per room. We were 2 short and when asking for the missing towels we were told housekeeping had left and they were unable to supply. So three of us shared one towel for our shower! The lighting in the rooms really need attention. Rooms are dark. Other than these small things we will definitely stay again...

Breakfast was lovely, a great variety of options. Family room was big and comfortable. Pool was well kept, restaurant was quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. Bar, even without a blender the staff managed to make delicious cocktails. The historical pictures were awesome we spent alot longer going anywhere because we were admiring the pictures.

The en-suite bathroom was a little outdated shower in a bath, the light in the bedroom was very dim. The communal bathrooms were outdated but still functioning well. The chess board could do with a revamp and to revive it's old wooden pieces would be awesome.

Staff was warm and friendly. It was a pleasure staying there. We will definitely book again. The stay will be longer and the children will accompany us. Thank you xx

The shower was cold, no hot water. The following morning i did go to reception to report and they provided a different room that did not have any guests. Shower was luke warm but shame the staff did try to accommodate us. Overall nothing wrong with the room or the hotel. We will definitely go again.
