I loved the location, it was a short walk from the train station and the bus station. There’s an express bus that stops at the closest bus stop and goes to the airport (traffic can be a little slower than the estimated time). There’s not a lot of food options nearby but there’s a lot of interesting shops, Seomun market (which has a global atm if you’re having a hard time finding one). It was clean and very comfortable - I spent the almost the whole day in the room. The common area in the lobby on the first floor was nice to sit in, very quiet. And the host was so amazing and kind, too, and offered to help call a taxi! (the coffee was delicious and cold) If you like fiber arts, there was a small yarn store nearby (Linea) on a street with Hanok houses and a small Buddhist temple (didn’t go in so I don’t know if you’re allowed to visit?).

The bathroom door was wood so the water from showering caused a bit of rot at the bottom. When I left in the morning I came back and had found new water bottles - but that meant someone came in while I was gone, which was unexpected, especially because if you want to sleep in it might disturb you.

Me and my friend extremely liked this place. I personally think this could be one of the best accommodations I've ever had. Great location, clean rooms, had every facility u might need during short trip. And cool check-in / check-out system:) One thing I especially liked was the kindness of the host. When we checked out, we had to pay KRW 25,000 late check out fee, but host said it's fine. I really appreciate her understanding.

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was perfect

The owner makes this place remarkable. She is so friendly, welcoming, accomodating and patient. Always available! She gives out free drinks, takes an interest in why you're here, seems to genuinely care for the guests. The location is quite nice, too, walking distance from the center and from the train station. It's cheap, and pretty good value for the room, which has everything you might need. You can also use the washing machine for free (detergent is provided for free, too) and use the dryer (for a fee of 3,000 wons). I recommend it, especially for solo travellers looking for cheap accomodation.

The room (walls, floors, ceiling) could be cleaner (mold).

Despite reading some negative reviews beforehand, I decided to give this hostel in Daegu a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. Although the bathroom was quite small and didn't have much space to shower, the mattress, bedding, and towels were all clean, and the overall cleanliness of the hostel was good. I was able to open the window to let in some fresh air and was pleased to find the hostel surprisingly quiet at night, despite its central location. The blackout curtains were a great addition, and the mini breakfast buffet offered a decent selection of food, including vegetarian options.

While the bathroom was small, I didn't find this to be a significant issue. The hostel also lacked a traditional hostel vibe, feeling more like a hotel or motel.

This place is close to three train stations, and a two bus stops. So we can get around Daegu easily. Seomun Market is close, also several businesses. Breakfast was good in this place. We had to cook our own eggs (except boiled eggs) and sandwiches, but there were choices. Kids loved the iced tea. The lady at the front desk was informing us about rain alerts etc so that we can plan our programs.

Restaurants are a bit far. Only very raditional restaurants are near by. They dont sell vegetarian food.

Comfortable rooms, good wifi, rooms very clean, microwaves, kettles, cooking utensils and washing machine available to use.

Communal areas weren't that clean - admittedly it's because messy guests left their food out but it was still there hours later, no staff had tidied.

The room was spacious, the bed very soft, large bathroom. Close to the main station (20mins on foot with luggage).

Before check in time there was no one in the hotel hall and I didn’t get an answer when I texted on line. There are free lockers right at the entrance though, so I just left my stuff there and went back after check in hours.

Close to the Hyundai daegu and easy to check in

They locked the front door at one point and you had to find another door to use which was confusing. We struggled a bit to find a way out and we came out on a backside. The property didn’t answer our request to change dates that we put in through booking for days, and when they did it was too late

There was no breakfast available but the very convenient location for me. Walking distances for Sri min market, Dalseong park, Kyesan sungdang, Sung modang. I was so happy that all were near by. Easy check in and out friendly reminder from the staff. I was very pleased while staying at Kyung’s Hostel.

It was a little bit dark at the entrance.
