Very friendly staff, laundry room in perfect working order and with a soap dispenser there. Reception staff helped us have exact change to use the machines. Bowling downstairs was fun!

The aircon in the room doesn't work. They have one central setting that applies for everyone so depending on whether more people are hot or cold they change the temperature for everyone. They did supply us with a standing fan though, and the following night the temperature had been centrally brought down.

I always stay at this hotel. It's clean, very convenient for me & my business, has tons of bars & restaurants in walking distance and staff is nice.

As usual, the AC did not work. One of the rather annoying aspects of this place. Has been switched off since years. Also, the laundry service may be OK as far a cleaning is concerned. But the way they calculate the prices is utterly ridiculous. They completely ignore what clothes you hand over and what boxes you tick. They simply calculate the most expensive item on their list. E.g. every shirt automatically turns into a "Silk Shirt" (the most expensive), even if it is cotton. Crazy.

I had an outstanding stay at Shilla Stay Dongtan near Samsung Digital City. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff truly set this hotel apart. It's a great location next to the park (nature) with a great view of the sunrise in the morning, and you've got the city on the other side. The room had a good decent sized bathroom and a good friendly room service. The breakfast buffet was also of a high quality.

The shower didn't have a place to put things. The toilet made a noise filling up, and I didn't feel a positive welcome at breakfast. After paying, I wasn't shown to a table and for a moment I didn't know where to go. In most other hotels guests are shown to a table and asked if they would like coffee. Everything about the breakfast, was excellent and 5 stars in my opinion,, so why not have 5 star customer services? Just some friendly feedback to improve the quality further.

We had a great experience at Shilla Stay Dongtan! The hotel made my holiday truly enjoyable with its comfortable accommodations and excellent service. The location is fantastic—close to everything you need, whether it’s shopping, dining, or transportation. It was the perfect base for exploring the area. Good location for my business

The way they charge for laundry is quite „innovative„. E.g. I hand in cotton shirts (I don’t wear anything else and their labels clearly state them to be cotton), but they charge for silk shirts. Which is >50% more expensive. I don’t have the time or nerve to argue with the hotel over something like that. But they always do it. I‘ve been staying there >15 times and every time the same.

The location is great. All the staff is very helpful.

The air conditioning is switched off from 10:00 p.m. to the morning. This was super annoying, as sometimes the temperature would reach 25-26 C, making it difficult to sleep.

It is very convenient to move around with public transportation. So many restaurants with all types of food are in working distance, with widely variety of authentic food. The room setup is comfortable. High floors are with great view. Room card access control both the room entrance and the operation of elevation. There are also grocery stores within 200 ~ 300 feet.

The breakfast is a little pricey. It would be great if the room can be equipped with a microwave.

Clean, complete, english-speaking staff. Lobby is great for short meet-ups and working. The hotel is near Dongtan central park and lots of establishments and restaurants.
