Best hotel we've experienced so far with our two kids (toddlers). Mattresses on the floor for a lower risk of fall injury (yet not futons so we don't have to roll them up), toys to entertain them inside the room for hours, our room even faced the sea (even though our booking stated city view), a very convenient dropoff and carpark, very friendly/polite hotel staff, and decent fried chicken for a late dinner without freezing outside! We didn't even try the heated rooftop pool during our stay, but it was open!

Only that there wasn't any laundry option (we are used to packing less and washing often) inside the hotel. Tho the 24 hour laundromat was only 2mins drive away, it did mean one of us had to step away for a while to do laundry. Hotel would have been perfect with a little coin-operated laundry room, we will definitely always choose to come back regardless just cos of the kids room tho!

The hotel is located about 20 minutes away by taxi from Jeju International Airport along the north highway next to the coast. It can be reached by taxi or by bus with a convenient stop just outside the hotel. The hotel itself was very clean and the room was very spacious with comfortable beds. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was clean and the environment was friendly and enjoyable.

The overall experience was great. We didn't have any issues with the room. Perhaps the only downside is that it is about 30 minutes away by bus from the airport. But transportation is already a bit tricky in Jeju.

Staying at Grabel was a really positive experience (especially after two subpar accommodations before it). The room was spacious and clean with nice linens and all the required amenities. The hotel is not far from the airport yet close enough to public beaches and transit (one bus station is right outside the doors and the other is 3min away). Going to Jeju-city and other parts of the island was very convenient. But a special mention goes to the breakfast menu. First of all it changes three days in a row so you're not sick of it at the end of the week, but what's even more important, both the selection and the quality of produce is superb! I couldn't stop gorging fresh pineapples every morning. And it's available from 7am to 10am which is quite rare in South Korea for some reason (usually it's just 7 to 9am). The order-in service was also fine albeit considerably overpriced (even still water was 1000KRW per 0.5L).

Not much. If I really wanted to complain I'd mention that the staff's English skills were not that great. There was also no laundry service whatsoever. Not even a self-service one. That was a letdown. There were just a couple of TV channels that aired movies in English, no international info&news channels (at least no English ones).

Although our room is on the lower floor and in front of a rather busy street, we can see the sea and sunset through the big glass window. The room was sound proof and provided us with a quiet stay. We truly appreciate the high-tech toilet bidet and the heated bathroom floor. The room was comfortable for our 4 nights' stay. There are many beautiful places to visit at Jeju such that we did not have time to use the infinity swimming pool and enjoy the beautiful rooftop hydrangea garden which overlooks the sea.

The housekeeping could be improved as the carpet needs to be cleaned well and one comforter has a small tear. It would be better if the hotel could provide wall towel racks at the bathroom especially as it is a family room, used by 4 people. A laundry self-service area would be great to have too.

Nice heated water pool with great view. Good restaurant. Nice to CU is just right beside the hotel. Big room but you have to choose your view when booking. (sea view or town view). Very friendly staff.

Unfortunately u cant bring outside food and only eat the hotel restaurant which close at 9pm. Other than that everything is fine. Bring your own towel if you wish to use the pool otherwise you need to pay for the towel.

The hotel was very nice and I had a sea view. The room is big and had 3 beds and still there was some space. The bathroom was big and comfy. The swimming pool on roof top was nice with water at good temperature. The hotel had an underground parking lot which we did not use as there was a parking spot next to hotel which was reserved for hotel guests. The breakfast was very good with lot of options. Bust stop to city was just outside the hotel and it had 2 convenience stores on each side.

Nothing specific. I was traveling with a young kid so nothing for him to do other than swimming pool.

The room was large and clean. The facility looks new, but the interior appears worn. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. The hotel was near the ocean, however pretty far from the center. I recommend the car rental, the parking lot is huge and free. It's getting full around 6-8pm.

Generally there was nothing drastic maybe except our room smelling of cigarettes which of course is prohibited.

Running map guide for 5k and 10km approx running routes taking in local sights. Took advantage of this on the Sunday of our stay. Fantastic idea by the hotel! Excellent location and staff super friendly and very helpful. Open and very warm swimming pool with great views of sunset. Easy and regular bus transportation outside. Parking available for your car if you drive.

Breakfast buffet a little expensive but quality of food on offer was wide in variety and very good in quality. Bring your own towel if you wish to swim otherwise a 3,000won additional charge.

Big variant of food to pick from for breakfast, so even if you are European you don't have to worry, lot to choose from. Employees at the reception are very helpful and kind and they do speak English. Room has very comfy bed.

You might not feel comfortable around the employees as they have very concern stair, when you try to speak to them in Korean they don't understand you and if you speak in English they don't understand either as they don't speak English. Later I've learned that this is cultural difference that there is automatic block and they don't expect foreigner to speak Korean. But very little number of people speak English. Also if you are European and you will want to use the pool don't be shocked that people there are covered from head to toe, it's OK to use our typical swimming suit/ bikinis but you won't feel comfy.

The kids room had toys and a kid-sized bed, and various useful things like a potty seat and step-stool for the kids to reach the sink, which was useful. I wish it had a bathtub, even a baby-sized one. It was not fun trying to get my one-year-old clean in a tiny, enclosed glass shower. Breakfast buffet had plenty of adult and kid-friendly food and opened at 7 am. Everything was clean and the workers were helpful. Room service was limited but available, which came in useful when the kids were too tired to go out.

There were plenty of restaurants to walk to nearby, but it isn't really a good area for exploring on foot. We had a car and the basement parking lot was tiny, but we were lucky and able to get a spot every day. Other people had to park outside in the rain. It was still an alright location for seeing the sights around the north of the island, so no real complaints there.
