The resort is located right by the sea, there is no beach but there's a dock where you can easily access the water for swimming or diving. There are few restaurants within 1-2 minutes walk and Hyeopjae Beach is only 5 minutes by bus (line 202 every 10-15 minutes). With the 202 you can also get to Hallim Park, Statue garden 록 박물관 (recommended), Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road and other attractions. There is a convenient store on the first floor. There is washing machine for the guests to use. The room is very spacious- exactly like in looks in the photos! , bed linens were clean, bathroom were clean. The staff were nice.

Although it has the following flaws, I really loved it here and I even extended my stay (10 nights in total). As people wrote- Many mosquitoes and flies, but I kept the windows closed and it was just fine. Some of the furnitures in the room like chairs and drawers were worn-out but it didn't really matter, to me the bed is the most important and the bed was good- clean and comfortable. The room is not very clean, dining table was greasy, kitchen surface was not clean, squashed mosquitoes on the walls.

We like that we could allocate 6 people in one room. The staff is so friendly and caring. The place is old, but worth it.

Not very clean the bathroom, as it looks old, the balcony was dirty, mosquito could go inside through the windows gaps. We found a big cockroach the las night we stayed there.

I liked the swimming area right in front of the hotel and the spacious rooms.

There weren’t many restaurant options within walking distance but they were within distance of taking a taxi.

I loved waking up to see the ocean outside my window. The staff tried to help even though I spoke little Korean.

Mostly that since I didn't have a car I had to take the bus and it was long or stopped running.

The room was very big with balcony and nice view. The bed was comfortable. There was floor heating and also heated toilet seat.

The boiler was in the bedroom and it was making disturbing noises all the time, even at night. Tbe bathroom wasn't much clean, the mirror there was terribly dirty.

I really like the location which was very well located and just in front of the sea. The CU directly inside was useful.

Even though I saw the comments on the cleanliness which was not good, I think that regarding the price, it is quite normal. The bed was clean so it was enough for us. The mirror and window glass were dirty. The fridge and the toilet were old. Also, to open the door with the key is quite difficult and the lock can be broken easily. Then after one night there, our lights started to twinkle even without any electricity. So we had to endure it for 3 nights. Thus, I think it is pretty cheap so we cannot really be picky.

Large room with nice comfy beds, and a big wood table and chairs in kitchen. Wiindows. Cheap, very cheap in busy after xmass time.

1) place feels like 70s old concrete hotel with "low income apartment block or hospital-like" ambience, and not so clean kichenettes (greasy surfaces not so deep cleaned), but the worst is #2 2) one of the "tenants" did heavy cooking that made the whole floor of this "hotel" smell like boiled pig + kimchi cabbage + garlic + more, all evening and night, despite me opening balcony door and all windows (and wearing all outdoor clothes to stay warm), and putting wet towels at door bottom to block the smell... it didn't help. 3) as soon as I settled in, I started to look on Booking.com for a new place for tonight and git up this room and loose the cheap nightly fee... but I only stayed because it was 22:00 and I was tired from walking all day. I should have left and taken the last bus to next town, really. Without the heavy cooking smells (it should be prohibited in such place), it would have been a good value actually. Bathroom is very small and basic and no shower curtain, so the floor gets wet and one is supposed to exit to the room somehow with wet feet and dry off. It has the charm of a big room in a apartment block/hostel + the noisy tenants (hotel customers) and their cooking. Bad experience. There are FAR BETTER choices on Jeju for slightly higher price. Also, it is not a "resord" despite a name. Maybe it was in early 80s, but it is a cheap concrete hotel now.
