Nice location. Quiet beach right near by. Cozy getaway

The location is rather isolated, but right on the beach. It is was a great point to visit Seorak National Park, Goseong-gun (Unification Observatory and DMZ Museum), and Sokcho. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a small kitchenette and of course, the complimentary fruit basket upon check-in was a wonderful surprise.

It appears that the property was renovating, there was a strong chemical smell in the lobby, the lower levels were being used for storage (so there was no game room) and overall, the place felt a bit deserted. The beds were not comfortable for a westerner, though probably perfectly fine for Koreans and while smoking was prohibited, our neighbors did smoke on their balcony, which caused the smoke to drift into our room.

The room was 2 times smaller than in the description. Not clean, rather dirty room. No room cleaning service during whole stay. Do not recommend if you are sensitive...

We loved that ot was very close to the beach. We also loved that there were 2 convenience stores nearby. We thought their little pet kit was thoughtful. We love that the hotel had easy parking, and welcomes pets.

We did not like that it was difficult to find food for lunch and dinner here. Nothing was available. This hotel is not kid friendly and there were no cribs for a baby. It was frustrating that the entire bathroom was wet whenever you used the shower. We also did not like that there were no lamps only bright lights. The hotel hallways look a little run down and the photos of the hotel are deceiving because there were no beach lounging chairs at the beach.

The only saving grace was that it was right on the beach.

We were in one of the non-renovated rooms w/mountain view and futon beds on the floor. The room was dirty with stains on the walls, ripped wallpaper, sand in the fridge. You can hear everything going on in the hallway through the door and we could even hear the phone vibrate from another room. The parking lot was so overcrowded we couldn’t park there. Won’t be staying here again.

The hotel is super old. Had a weird smell on our floor. The outside looks apocalyptic and the mount they charge to get a pet room is alot. They don't clean everyday so you don't get any value.
