The accommodation was super super close to the express bus terminal and the bus station where you can take a bus to Soraksan National park. The check-in went smooth. The room was comfortable, the beds as well. There is a mini fridge in the room and towels. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, toothpaste. (the conditioner quality was amazing). Only thing was that the toilet door had a small window to the room which was somewhat see-through. There are other spaces in the accommodation for movie watching etc. Also water purifier to use on your way out. Good deal for the amount payed.

With U is in a very convenient location, 2 minutes from the express bus terminal and Seoraksan bus stop and 5 minutes from the beach. I stayed in the private bunk bed room, a great value for some private, albiet, cramped space. Facilities were great. There is even an outdoor seating are and a basement with water, coffee, kitchen, and entertainment

Overall, this place is great. However do know you there is often no one at the front desk—you must message them—and not much traveler information as I could see like at other backpacking spots. The biggest annoyance was the sink/shower setup. If you don’t reset the handle, you’ll get a second shower yourself while trying to wash your hands.

I stayed 2 nights, size of the room for one person is great, there's a big locker with the key well secured It was super clean, quiet and loved the smell they put in the corridor outside of the rooms. Was able to check in one hour before. Super convenient location it's near to the beach by walk and the bus terminal station (bus coming from Seoul), to go to Seoraksan national park (30-45min by bus) the bus stop is super close (1 minute walk maximum), lot of convenient stores around but not so much restaurants except Lotteria for burgers😅, to go to the city center and the other bus terminal stations (to go to Gagneung for example) just take the bus from the other side ot the road, only 15-20minutes by bus but be mindful of the bus hours (city bus come every 10-15minutes or more sometimes)

It was a too warm at night, unfortunately you can't control the heat, it might be central heat but the AC works well

- I took the very first bus from Seoul and wound up at the accommodation before the reception opened. The host was very accommodating and allowed me to stow my luggage and directed me to the correct bus stop. - The host also provided me with an umbrella when I checked out of the accommodation as it was bucketing down outside. That was very kind so huge thank-you for that. - The room was minimal but comfortable, tidy, and spacious - The bed was comfortable for me. - Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothpaste was provided. Shower pressure was good. - The room felt very secure - There's no kettle in the room, but there is a water bubbler providing hot and cold water in the lobby. There's also 2 bottles of water in the mini-fridge. - Location wise, it is across the road from the Sokcho Express Bus Station and down the road from the number 7 and 7-1 bus that takes you to Seoraksan National Park

- For those who have mobility issues, the double room may not be suitable for you as you have to step up and down the platform to reach the bed - The only noise you can hear is from the traffic outside if you have the window open. Easy to solve with ear plugs.

Great location, just across the express terminal and close to a bus stop. Plenty of food shops and convenience stores around within walking distance. Close to the beach too. Room is just like as in the picture, good enough for 1 person but maybe a little small for 2. The owner/manager is very friendly and helpful. I’ve enjoyed the stay in general.

Doesnt have elevator, but my stay is all good because the owner/manager helped to assign me on 2F.

This place is perfect for solo travelers. Its located in the heart of main street Sokcho so you have lots of restaurants to choose from and its just a walk away from the beach! Also, Daiso and Emart are just a 4 min walk away which is perfect incase you need go grab some toiletries. The manager was very kind and helpful. The room was super clean and comfortable. I would definitely book this place again in the future.

Excellent location, close to the express bus terminal and also to the bus stop for the lines 7 and 7-1, which can easily take you to the Seoraksan National Park. The first bus passes around 6:30 in the morning. The room was spacious and the bathroom had all the necessary toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, plus a small soap bar). The basement has a nice area for gathering, including some board games. Check-in time is strictly adhered to, but you can leave your luggage while you are out exploring.

An easy way to improve the room would be to add an obscuring curtain/blinds. We got woken up around 5-5:30 am because of all the light entering the room. We found the bed a bit hard.

Very helpful staff, who will help you with queries and provide all necessary info. Absolutely convenient location- bang opposite the Express bus terminal (Mind you, there are two bus terminals in Sokcho. One is Intercity bus terminal, and the other is Express bus terminal. This place is opposite Express bus terminal). Hardly a minute walk to the Sokcho beach. And right outside the hotel exit is the bus stop where you can take the bus to your destination. Bus 7 and 7-1 go to Seoraksan entrance gate(first bus is at 6.30 AM). E mart convenience store is right in front, and so is Lotteria restaurant where I have had the most amazing vegan burger ever!! Our room had one double bed and two small beds, and also a small kitchenette where you can cook. In the basement there`s another common kitchen, and billiards tables. There`s no in house restaurant, but there are a lot of restaurants/ cafes around, so no worries!!

The gentleman who manned the reception alone during all three days of my stay was extremely helpful and courteous. He carried my luggage up to the third floor upon arrival, and during check-out — likely because the hotel wasn’t very busy at the time — he noticed I was preparing to leave and came up to the third floor to bring my luggage down for me.

There is no elevator, but I have no complaints since the staff kindly assisted me with my luggage.

Small issue that is more common in Korea, but the water from the shower will go everywhere in the bathroom. Shower is above sink and next to the toilet, so after using it the floor is wet. I used towels to stop it going everywhere and drying the floor. They provide you with more then enough towels.
