Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. Hotel is quite centrally located and it was easy to reach all my points of interest from there.

Some people at the reception have trouble with English and may not be the most helpful or understanding. E.g. I received this message from the hotel system and went to solve it at the reception regarding my continuing accommodation, since part was paid by my company and continuing booking was done privately, and they were quite confused... There was no vegetable available at the breakfast. Since I stayed there for over a week, in the end I started to buy my own tomatoes and other things to enrich the offer.

We arrived early, extremely helpful reception staff immediately provided us with a room well before check in time. Room was fabulous in every way. Breakfast choices were 'above and beyond' expectations, location of the hotel was just right for exploration and characterful tapas Bars. We hope to return to Almeria City in the future and will stay at the hotel again if so.

Nothing about the hotel to dislike - just some very inconsiderate and noisy neighbours in the next and nearby rooms one night. Not the hotel's fault.

As location is the best you can get in the town centre, very close to all the tourist attractions, best restaurants and shops, everything is at short walk distance and we really enjoyed staying here. Our room was cleaned every day and bed was comfortable. The room was facing a square with cafe/restaurant, so it was a bit noisy sometimes. There's a lovely cafe nearby where to have breakfast and plenty of the best restaurants an tapas bar around. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in the lovely Almeria.

Great location for visiting local attractions. Friendly helpful staff.Comfortable beds. Good value. Rooftop jacuzzi ( which you have to book ..make sure they turn the steam room on too!) Plenty of seating areas for relaxing. It has it's own bar next door with a nice terrace... And the waiter Kevin is lovely! Underground car park a few minutes walk from the hotel.

We had a fourth floor room at the rear of the hotel which is quieter than overlooking the bar terrace ... except there is construction work level with the fourth floor rooms. We weren't aware of the noise until the morning when they started at 8am. Not a problem for us, but if you want to have a lie in, ask for a room away from the building works.

I couldn’t of selected a better hotel for the price I paid I was more than happy with my stay I had contact with 6 different members of staff and all of them were excellent ( even when I was attempting to speak Spanish 😀) The facilities exceeded my expectations , for cleanliness and decor. My bedroom was very comfortable the shower was great too! I would definitely recommend this hotel and when I return to Almeria this would be my first choice!

Absolutely nothing!

Terrific location, delicious buffet breakfast, clean and efficient. Opt for excellent buffet breakfast-inform staff a day head and they discount the buffet and you pay only nine euros each day you take it. Car parking is included in your fee and is easily accessible from main hotel; at arrival pull up to the front where there is a space to unload and they will inform you of garage location. Don't mix up Nuevo Torreluz with others; they have apartments and Torreluz Senior.

One frustration is that they expect you to register and pay online through reservation document. I was able to register my documents, but the payment system failed twice. (Called credit card company, no decline there so it was the hotel payment system issue.) Hotel insisted I pay through the online portal or my reservation would be canceled. Once I informed them of my situation, and that through booking.com my reservation would be held with the credit card, they allowed me to pay upon arrival. Not an issue upon arrival. Hotel needs to understand, and respect this as an issue. In three weeks of travel there was never a payment issue until now. Glad hotel resolved it. This is why I rated hotel as an "8" and not a "10".

The hotel was very spacious, the room was comfortable and well laid out. Big bathroom with powerful shower, Although took longer than it should for the shower water to drain away. There was a proper hairdryer in the bathroom as well as shampoo and body lotion. the room had a desk/table and chairs. Plenty of pillows for comfort. Staff very helpful and you can request parking close bu which they arange for you.

There is not anything I could criticize

Comfortable bed, great location, very friendly and helpful stuff. Breakfast was very nice. Parking next door for reasonable price. I would definitely stay again if coming back to Almeria.

Parking is very difficult for a small and narrow places even with a normal car. With a bigger one I would not manage. But it's in the middle of the old town so it it how it is. Walls are paper thin you hear every world of your neighbours.

We arrived late in the evening. The room was ready for us and very nice. Good shower. Comfortable bed. Good air conditioning. Great location.

No taxis at the ferry dock--you have to call one. It would have been an easy walk to the hotel if the path was not blocked off--a permanent closure likely due to pedestrian-car conflicts. Thankful for the friendly taxi driver that came back for us after dropping off his first clients. Train station under construction--a little confusion with having to take a bus to the first train stop.

This a good hotel in a very good location near to many tapas opprtunities and decent restaurants. Also close to the main shopping street with taxis to take you to the two shopping malls, Mediterraneo (smallish) and Torrecadenas (large). There are also some sightseeing opportunities not far away. The rooms are comfortable well equipped.

The hotel buffet breakfast is to be avoided. We came down around 40 minutes before the buffet was due to close and found that things had not been replaced, There was some fresh fruit, apples and pears but other prepared fruit consisted of a bowl of cut up melon. The choice of cooked items was not good with tired bacon and rubbery scrambled egg. Best option if the weather is OK is their small terrace where they serve traditional Spanish coffee and toast etc,
