This charming 18th-century building was a beautiful and restful place to round off our trip to Almería and around. The rooms were lovely, with great views from the southern-facing side. We stayed with half board and it was lovely not to have to cook. The dinners were generous and delicious. We also visited the baths (1 hour in the albercas) with our two kids; the water was perfect for the adults but too hot for the children. Fortunately the other pool that we hadn't booked was cooler (and vacant) so they went in there! I reserve my main praise for the staff, who were all lovely, friendly and helpful.

The breakfast would benefit from more fresh options for the bread, pastries and maybe some eggs. There was fruit, juices, cheese, ham, and yoghurt available but also lots of unhealthy ultra-processed sweet food in plastic. I also would have loved to have a kettle in the room (there was a fridge).

A hotel, hot spring & SPA in the mountains located high above the sea with a great view. The bird’s singing woke us in the morning. The place has a long tradition, reflected in the elaborate stone architecture and supplemented by the pride and care of the proprietor and staff: We haven’t seen this kind of dedication and joy in hotel staff in a long time. But the highlight was the hot springs and baths with their stone pools, exotic sounds and smells under vaulted ceilings.

As a consequence of preserving the original setting, the rooms and decoration are simple and practical but very clean. Only the bathrooms are modern.

Great spot off the motorway by about 7 km, in the desert, Moor spa, spa facilities you need book in advance, tiny village basically a few houses a bar and the spa, great staff, with Google Translate we managed everything, rooms basic but comfortable, hot water an issue but hotel neatly empty in Nov, I arrived by motorbike, and they got me parked safe, got a beer and a lunch , love the place will go back

The location had stunning views and was very quiet. The one bar was closed and there is no shop in the village. Breakfast was OK. There could have been more seasonal fruit and cheeses eg hoats cheese. The provision of gluten free bread was appreciated.

The terrace bw,available for drinks earlier. The current opening time is 8pm. Before this, there is no where to have a beer or light snack during the afternoon.

the location was fantastic. Set in a small pueblo, with only a few other houses. Quiet, secluded, beautiful. The thermal baths were a real treat after many hours on a motorbike.

Beware that there is literally nothing else in the pueblo - not a shop or bar! Only the restaurant in the hotel, which offered a limited, but delicious dinner.

Beautiful setting and tranquil location. Used this to visit nearby attractions such as oasis mini Hollywood and Almeria. Great value meals.

Ok for a couple of days. Would not be a good idea for any longer than a weekend.

Absolutely amazing, once-in-a-lifetime hotel experience. The historic building and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly and competent. The chef was excellent and dinner was one of the best meals I've had in Spain. The spa is simply too much for words, truly amazing. This is not the most polished hotel, but it is the most amazing I've ever stayed in.

400 meter climb on my bicycle to reach the hotel was a tough end to the day.

The setting and authenticity. The warm welcome by the receptionist lady, giving us the tour of the hotel with much enthusiasm. Me gustas te...;-) The rebuilt historical building breathes history and architecture. Most enchanted with the personal touch and presentation. Not for the overly critical traveler, but sure for the experience seeking ones. The villagers were very friendly helping us out to make sure we reach the next fuel station without a glitch....

Great location, warm inside in cold weather. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the food and the service.

I actually took a 1 hour Arabic bath and ate a prix fixe dinner which were both worthwhile. Very helpful staff.

Very outdated furniture / facilities. No AC. A swervy 20 minute drive from Almeria but nice views from terrace restaurant.
