The owner is one of the best guys which I have met on my hike. Umbrella helps me a lot. No way to buy it and he gave me one. Nice experience with kindness. Thank you. Accommodation and restaurant was excellent. All the best.

Weather. When I have been there two days of strong rains and wind so I need to extend my stay there for one night. It's not what I expect, but I am glad, that I can do it there:).

A wonderful place to stay while walking the Camino Mozarabe. The host is more than helpful- he opened the restaurant for dinner for just myself and my wife. I left my sunglasses in Castro del Rio and he made arrangements to have them delivered directly to me in Santa Cruz at a very reasonable cost. What more could one ask for

The staff were great! Mr. Rafael received us very well. We were travelling by car, so we arrived at the property very late, so I was concerned about loosing the check-in, but Mr. Rafael was very kind to wait and receive us at that time. The hotel is very cozy, the location was perfect since we were travelling through Andaluzia by car.

After walking for a long day it was nice to get to La Bartola. The heating worked very well, the shower was large! A nice and quiet room with a balcony. Also nice restaurant downstairs. Friendly and helpful staff!

The room was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. I slept very well. The restaurant was very nice. I had a piece of swordfish in a prawn and garlic sauce that was very tasty. It is a nice place to stay if you are on a long journey and need somewhere comfortable and cost-effective to stop for the night.

Super convenient to have a restaurant downstairs. The room was nice and the staff were incredibly helpful. They found a secure place for us to store our bicycles without any fuss.

Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Huge shower. Lunch was very good and excellent value. Located right on The Camino Mozárabe which suited me perfectly.
