I loved the location, very close to the historic centre, with an amazing view of the bridge and the mosque-cathedral, but still close to other amenities. I also loved the bedroom, with comfortable beds and a large TV. The rooftop is pretty great as well, with a panoramic view. We got to watch the sunset there on our last evening.

The check-in process was long, with a lot of steps. I think some of this could be done online before arriving for an easier check-in on the day. The rooftop, although amazing, could be better utilised. We were there in August, and there was not much happening. I think it would be nice to have live music or a lounge area where people can relax.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. A short walk into the center. Free parking on the streets around the hotel. The room with a view was lovely.

The bar on the roof terrace only opens at 6pm. This means that the pool which opens at 10.30 has no facilities available till 6pm. The pool closes at 8.30. The same bar has no covering from rain except for the bar itself so if it rains the bar can’t be used. There is no other bar in the hotel. There is only a socket for charging a mobile phone on one side of the bed. The other person has to use a socket on the far side of the room. Not ideal.

Great location. Great breakfasts and very friendly staff. Comfortable beds, good air conditioning. The bathroom had everything you need. The fridge was refilled with water for free in our case. The restaurant at breakfast will make you a personal omelet with fillings to order. Great view at night from the rooftop terrace, on the mesquite. In the lobby there is a microwave, snack machine and coffee machine.

On the first day the water in the pool was cloudy and greenish. The next day everything was fixed, it was absolutely clear.

Amazing location - really can't beat it. Just a walk over the insanely pretty bridge and you in the centre of it all. Amazing views. We bumped into so many people coming to use our rooftop from other hotels because it's the only bar like it.

The hotel feels slightly dated, a lot of plastic, could do with adding some newer furniture. We arrived quite late and was hoping to get some food at the hotel, but we couldn't. It isn't obvious when booking the hotel that this place doesn't have a restaurant with food onsite, as photos show different. There is even a photo of a restaurant in their lift, but when we asked where it was - they said they only had vending machines with snacks in.

Close to the Ponte Romana, this hotel could not be in a better location for a short walk to Mezquita-Catedral and the historic centre of Cordoba. It is also only a few minutes’ drive from the motorway and has a good underground parking garage with reasonably sized spaces. There is a lovely rooftop terrace bar great for taking in the views of the Mezquita-Catedral but closing at 9:30pm does seem a little early. Rooms are bright & airy with comfortable beds. Good rainfall showers.

For a 4 star hotel, I does seem a little odd that there are no kettle or coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. There was only one lift working when we stayed and this was very overworked with queues on each floor at breakfast and checkout times, particularly with coach parties apparently dining and departing en masse; expect to use the stairs.

Good position, south of the river, but within easy walking distance of the old quarter. Some might not much like the walk back at night across the bridge, but I felt quite safe on my own. For me the position was perfect. I was even able to park gratis on the street, within view of my room. Fabulous views to the old quarter from the roof terrace. The room was very large and confortable. I got a cheap deal so was not surprised or much bothered to get a room at the back a long way from the lift, However, it was under the pool, so I imagine that there might be machine noise when the pool is in action.

So much to like about the Hesperia! The room was large, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower was great. I loved the tile work on the wall around the bed. The underground parking was expensive, but worth it for the peace of mind. The hotel is located right across the Roman bridge from the centre, just a 5-minute walk away.

We were four rooms away from the elevator and could still hear it. Pity the poor people in the room right next to it, but it looks like they may be upgrading the elevators as one was completely removed. We opted out of the breakfast as there were many options to choose from in the vicinity at much lower prices.

Easy to find and an easily accessible underground car park, especially if you've driven straight from the airport in an unfamiliar hire car! So glad that we didn't opt for a hotel in the old town, as it would have been difficult to find and manoeuvre through the tiny streets. Comfortable room - we didn't have a view, but it was more important to us that we spent time out in the city. Great views across the river from the roof terrace bar though. We loved the location, an easy walk 10 minute walk over the Roman bridge to the main areas of the city.

The room was large, nice view of the old city as well from our window and with a large comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great with enough choice and good quality definitely recommended. Easy checkin great staff and maps of area given and recommendations were perfect No parking restrictions to the roads around the area ,if you can find a space as we did just 20 m from the entrance .Hotel has a few parking bays outside the front door but cost 18Euro a night

The location of the hotel is perfect if you are traveling by car. The hotel is very close to the Roman Bridge, but being on the other side of the river to the historic town area, you do not have to navigate your way through tiny, busy streets to get there, and there is secure underground car parking at the hotel. Perfect. The room is spacious and comfortable. We have 2 large suitcases and 2 small suitcases and still were not cramped in the room. The staff, especially the cleaning staff, were all so bright and bubbly and cheerful, every day.

The only minor thing I can mention is that the bed bases are on wheels for easy reconfiguration to meet guest requirements, but the wheels don't lock into place. So the beds tend to roll away from the bed-head/wall at times. Didn't detract from the comfort at all, just a bit weird.
