A two night stay. I had my own car. I stayed at Aracena to use it as the base for visiting the Rio Tinto mine areas, a drive of approximately 20 minutes to the south of Aracena, and I made that mine visit. I also was able to visit the very good Aracena limestone caves, which is right in town. The hotel is right in town, was good and comfortable and I was able to walk around a very pretty town.

Nothing to dislike

The hotel was right in the middle of town and an easy walk to the grotto and the castle. The hotel was very clean and though a little dated, very comfortable and we received a warm reception from the staff. The room in the attic was nice and comfortable and had what we needed for the 2 nights we were there. There was a nice coffee shop next door.

Didn’t have breakfast

Carpets on stairs were looking a little worn in places & could be dangerous if not careful.

Rather thin walls

Location is excellent and right in the center. Nice lobby to sit and parking spot for my bike Staff was very friendly and professional.

The single room was rather small and was right at the back entrance of the restaurant. Was quite noisy, even with the windows closed.

The hotel is in the centre of town, and it is walkable to the most interesting sites. Very helpful reception staff and there is a locker room where you can leave your bags if you want to take a wander.
