The hotel is spacious & clean, as well as the rooms. The staff is very nice & helpful. We arrived before the usual check-in time, so they stored our luggage, so we could do our trips & explore the city till the check-in time. Upon return, the luggage was already moved to the room. Breakfast is nice as well.

Although it's on the main road, the area around is not touristic & not vibing, but the metro station is on the other side of the road which can take you anywhere you need. Also, The pool on the roof is very small. So don't over-expect about it.

Very kids friendly. Received a little welcome bag for our son with toys and shower things. Location very good since far enough from the crowds of tourists to enjoy some peace but still close enough to several attractions to walk there.

The rooms are not at all sound proof, so hope for quiet and respectful neighbours !!

The room was comfortable and though it was road facing the room was quiet and outside noise did not disturb. There was two televisions in the room , one could be accessed from the bed and the other in the separate alcove where a sofa was provided. The bathroom was spacious with a separate bath tub and a shower area. Good toiletries were provided and the towels and bedsheets changed every day.

They could have provided some drinking water every day especially as the tap water in Barcelona is hard and has a unique taste which all may not like though I must say there was a facility to get good water in the lobby.

A very nice hotel in a great location. We walked almost everywhere, 30 minutes to the main square and waterfront. There are several restaurants and bakeries nearby as well as a fruit stand and a laundromat just around the corner. THe bathroom was very attractive and the bed was comfortable.The staff was very friendly and Ami was particularly helpful and sweet, giving us ideas of where to eat and how to get to various sites.

A comfortable chair in the room would have been nice but really everything was fine. I would stay there again.

Our stay at Hotel Concordia was really great value for money. The location is really central and convenient for different transport options on and around the city, though mostly we walked. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we were really happy to have a bathtub. Only paper cups were provided with the tea and coffee in the room but when we asked staff for cups we were allowed to take some china from the restaurant for the duration of our stay. There were plenty of amenities - robes, slippers, sewing kit etc. The pool and gym area looked good; I only had a quick dip in the little pool (unheated and it was winter) and I wish I had realised there was a sauna in the area at the time!

There was a small couch/single fold out bed in the room. It would have been nice to have a larger couch for two to sit comfortably. The sound does carry up from the busy street (we were on the highest floor, 7, facing the Paral-lel); it didn't bother us much but something to consider for light sleepers.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The reception is clean and modern with some interesting design aspects. The room was spacious. There is a pool and terrace, but we didn't get a chance to use it.

The room was not very light, but that was not an issue as we were not there during the day. Breakfast options were ok, but if you wanted cooked food, they were dry and a bit boring. Very few options if you do not eat meat/eggs/dairy. Mushrooms and toast was really the only option other than fruit. This didn't impact our stay, l mention it here so the hotel can maybe consider some alternatives.

The hotel is next to Poble Sec Metro station, so it is very easy to travel by subway. It is also near Montjuic, you can walk for 15 minutes to the art museum, or jogging to Montjuic Castle. However, if you don't have that much time, you can go to the tram, taking metro at Poble Sec to Parallel (just 1 station) and there is a connecting way to the tram.

The hotel gave only 2 small bottle of drinking water as a welcome. I stayed there 3 night, so I have to go out and buy more drinking water. It was not a big deal anyway, there were several stores around the hotel.

I chose this hotel because it was close to relatives who live in Barcelona. Personally I prefer this area - Poble Sec - to the more tourist dense areas of the city but others may prefer to be closer to the tourist hub. Rooftop pool was great - yes I swam in it in October & was glad to see it had not yet been closed for the season. Rooms are large, clean & comfortable. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment on this.

It was clean, really close to public transportation stations (both metro and bus). The room was super clean and had all the necessary supplies to make our stay comfortable (toiletries, free coffee and tea, kettle and fridge). I loved that you can walk to and from quite a few key points such as the Catalan museum of Art and the olympic village. I really can’t wait to come back to this hotel and beautiful Barcelona.

I would like to especially comment on the helpfulness of the staff. I was travelling alone for a music festival and they made me feel that I was staying in a very safe and comfortable hotel. They offered advice throughout on best modes of transport to and from tourist spots as well as the festival itself, and it really made my trip.

My room could have done with a bit of TLC. The headboard which was supposed to be attached to the wall was loose and I was worried the whole time I might break it off. This was a minor thing in an otherwise very spacious and beautifully laid out comfortable modern room.
