The location was great, near the Paral-lel metro station, and near to many restaurants and cafes. A good place to explore the city. The staff was very friendly and we also had a lunch in the restaurant downstairs one day.

It was a bit unclear when the restaurant downstairs would be open. The beds could have been a bit better (too soft for my taste). The bathroom was ok but quite small, it would have helped to have some hooks for hanging the towel and clothes while showering.

Great location, only 3 minutes away from Parallel metro station, in a lively neighborhood with bars and shops. Self check-in process very simple, perfectly explained by the host. Access to the room is through the restaurant downstairs; the room is located upstairs. Comfy bed, shutters on the windows, quiet at night.

Cleanliness was not satisfactory; we found hair on the floor and stains on one of the towels. The restaurant downstairs was never open, which was disappointing since it would have been a great option for breakfast.

Everything was excellent! The owner is so kind and met all our demands. We were allowed to leave our bags in the hostel until the late evening flight so we can explore the city a little bit more. The room wasn't huge but it was just enough for a few days trip. It's important that it was super clean and had all the necessary facilities. The internet connection was good as well. We are definitely coming back! :)

The location of the hotel is really good. It is safe and away from the tourist crowd. It is 2-3 minutes away from the metro. Our room was very clean, the staff were really helpful, polite and friendly. I would like to thank Cesare for his recommendations and reliability. If I go to Barcelona again, I would definitely stay here again.

It was basic but clean and tidy and it had everything you needed,I think it was the owner we met who ran the bar and restaurant and he was a proper gentleman who done anything he was able to help with our stay

The price of accommodation in Barcelona is extortionate so this budget property is ideal for overnight stays just don’t expect the ritz

The owner was super nice, always responded quickly on WhatsApp. We had a bit of a problem with the light, but he fixed it right away. The cleaning ladies came every day and changed our towels. On the day of check-out he let us leave our luggage in the lobby, because we had flight in the late evening, furthermore he allowed us an early check-in and, because we also had to leave our luggage somewhere, he carried it into our room for us in the meantime. In comparison to prices in Barcelona, price/performance ratio exceeded our expectations: the room, the host, the location (close to metro and to the gothic quarter), cute neighborhood ... A sink in the bathroom could be a bit bigger.

We were staying in Room 6. The room and bathroom were very spacious which was a surprise for a budget friendly hotel. Daily cleaner was provided additional toiletries and toilet paper every day. (Although the dust on the floor was not thoroughly cleaned). Good location, quiet, although we stayed in January.

Photos seem to be taken right after renovation, currently there was wear and tear visible, including peeling off paint in the bathroom and near the window.

Host and his staff (Cesare and Eduardo) are extremly kind. Restaurant is excellent. Communication with host was great. Room is nice and clean and features air conditioning. Large shower in the bathroom. Position is good. Check-in/out are extremly easy and every info is given in advance with many useful and detailed explanations.

We'd suggest to add a small fridge in the room.

The owner and the staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The room was clean and large enough. It was also cleaned daily. The check in and payment were done easily. The location was in a very lively area with access to public transport, a lot of places to eat and drink and close to La Rambla and other attractions. We had AC, TV, WI-FI

A little noisy at night (in weekends) because people were gathering around for a few drinks and stayed until latter hours. Some of the walls need repairs.

A very cute, clean place, and the owner and staff were so helpful. There is not an elevator, but the owner and staff helped get our luggage to our room upstairs. Also, their is a small restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms were small, but very clean and seemingly newly renovated, the beds were quite comfortable too.

On the day we left, a taxi was a bit hard to locate, but the staff helped us make arrangements. No shared kitchen is available, nor coffee or tea, but the Hostal is located in a nice neighborhood with shops and cafes close.
