Nice clean place with central location.

A bit basic but meet all the expectations.

The staff were friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable.

The constant messages prior to our stay which apparently were false and were a cyber attack. The hotel was difficult to get in touch with before, not very quick on replying to my messages. Made the whole process very stressful and I wouldn't use this hotel again for that reason.

Comfortable and secure, had everything we required for our stay. Has one bedroom with large bed and other with 2 single beds, which we were aware of at bookings. There are two bathrooms and washing machine.

The address advertised, Hostel Bedmates, is not actually the location of the property. The advertised address is where you ‘check in’ and provide ID documents, as required in Spain. The actually apartment is about 1 km closer to Placa de Espanya. Transport between the properties was provided and offered at checkout. All photos on the Bookings.com are accurate.

Perfect central location. a minute walk to the Metro. So perfect connectivity to all places in the city. Good restaurants and cafes near by.

Issue is with thin walls. Like even if you speak with your normal tone, we could hear it loud and clear outside. We travelled with a group of friends and we had our neighbor unhappy about loud noises from our room, where we were just speaking inside our room. That was a bit bothering as we had to whisper the whole night. Wish they had thick walls or some noise dampening systems.

Very good location, close to the metro station. Very nice room with a nice view of the street and so much light. The room is tied up and cleaned each day with a change of towels every two days. There is also elastic good smell in the room! Presence of air conditioning system. Very kind personnel. There is also the possibility to have breakfast in the hotel.

For some reason the many lights of the room can be switched off and on all together and you can’t choose to have just one of them on and the others off. Very strange and in contrast with energy saving. A bigger soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower would be useful.

Clean and comfortable room that provided a good stay for 4 nights. The room has a safe. If you are looking for extras like an iron or coffee maker (which I wasn't), they weren't any in this room. The location is convenient to Montjuic and a metro stop is about 1 block away on the line that connects with the Sagrada Familia as well as another that connects to the main train station. The old town district is nearby as well. Overall, I was able to walk to most places I wanted to see. I chose it to be near the Apolo theater for a concert so if that is on your agenda, a perfect choice. The staff welcomed always offered a warm greeting and stored my bag after I arrived early.

Thin walls. I could hear everything my neighbors (sounded like students) were saying and they were just using a conversational voice. The shower also drained slowly.

The location was great for walking everywhere, as well as the metro station only being 2 minutes away. The room was always clean and comfortable, with the staff doing an incredible job not misplacing anything of ours. The desk staff were more than helpful, pleasant and professional and ready to answer all the questions we had, as well as great suggestions for places to go.

The only slight problem we had was that the shower in our room leaked all over the bathroom floor and on one occasion out the doorway of the room. I think it have had something to do with the seal on the door, but it would be worth looking into.

This hotel is very close to the metro station. The staffs are very welcoming.

The noise from the opposite rooms, passage, you can literally hear the person peeing as the walls are made of paper. So expect a lot of sound at night. That was the only thing which I didn't like

Brand new apartment, very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Friendly staff, easy check in, although we arrived at the location very late (after 1 am). Good location, close to the Paral-lel metro station. Located 13 km from the airport (20-25 min by taxi), and 15 minutes by metro from Sagrada Familia and other main areas of interest in Barcelona (15-20 minutes walk from La Rambla). Very good price-quality ratio, I recommend for a short stay in Barcelona.

The street where Hostal Bedmates is located is under construction, with noise and quite a bit of dirt around. This is not a negative comment about the hostal, I'm sure it will be solved when the renovation works are finished.

Second time staying here. The apartment was just as nice and comfortable as the hotel. Beds were comfortable, and the apartment was very spacious and well designed. Metro station is easily accessible as well.

We were a bit disappointed that one of the rooms did not have air conditioning and only had floor fans and the room didn't really have any outlets where the fans could be plugged in at the ideal location. There were also no locks on the bathroom doors. Minor problems during our stay as it was cold and we just had to knock on the bathroom door each time we went, otherwise this would have been a perfect 10/10 review
