Es Corte Vell is simply divine. From the warmest of welcome to the facilities, to our very sweet goodbye. We arrived in Bunyola via the 205 bus from Palma (main bus station), this is the direct bus from Palma to Bunyola, from stop 10 in the main bus station in the centre of Palma. The bus stops in the centre of the delightful village of Bunyola, which is also served by the tourist train from Palma to Soller. The walk up to the hotel from the centre of town is perhaps a 5 minute walk. Our room was air conditioned, spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated, including a stunning chandelier in the bathroom, we had a balcony and a super roof terrace overlooking the pool and the mountains. The hotel pool and surrounding facilities are pristine and well maintained. The staff are perfectly lovely, we were extremely well taken care of by a small team of discerning and excellent staff, no request was too much. The breakfasts were gorgeous and plentiful, with the freshest, tastiest produce. There's an honesty bar and snacks available on request until 7.30pm. The hotel gave us recommendations for restaurants in Bunyola, and we particularly liked Grill Antico. There is a small but bustling cafe society vibe in the village which is lovely to sit and chill in the evening. I can't recommend Es Corte Vell more highly, it's a perfectly beautiful hotel with attentive, friendly and professional staff, situated in a quiet mountain village, with great transport links close enough to venture further afield if required. We'd definitely book again in the future.

We had the most perfect week in Es Corte Vell. Our room was gorgeous and the whole hotel was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The pool area was so lovely with comfy sun loungers and amazing views of the mountains. The staff made our stay extra special as they were so friendly and always happy to help with anything, we loved chatting to them everyday. Bunyola is a lovely quiet town with a few restaurants and bars (Antic Grill and Cabra Verde are very good). Busier towns such as Palma and Port de Soller can be easily reached via bus. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

This is a beautiful small hotel in an old police station. Situated in the lovely village of Bunyola on the Palma to Soller train line. The rooms are delightful and very comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice. There is also a small lunch menu and well stocked honesty bar. The pool area is fabulous. We loved the little touches like the basket with pool towels. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Absolutely nothing

Staff - our host Ines was the nicest person in entire Mallorca during our vacation (but other members of the staff were nice as well). Ambient - peace and quiet. Decoration - interior and exterior of the hotel and the room are really well organised and natural. Unlimited and private use of outside pool and jacuzzi. All of the required information from our side were printed out and left for us to have it for later. Breakfast was amazing, with a lot of domestic products and everything you need.

Quality of the coffe should be a little better (it was not bad, and Jura machine is great, but in Croatia we are used to sligtly better quality of the coffe itself). Mojito cocktail and Aperol spritz should be mixed better (there are plenty of recipes on the internet that I use at home, and these are a lot better than the ones here).

Es Corte Vell met and exceeded our expectations. Parking is available, if you are lucky in the road in front of hotel, if not, up a side lane. Ines, who greeted us in reception was amazing, friendly and ideal front of house. She even came down to our car to collect part of our luggage! Hotel is lovely and ideal for visiting local areas, including the village of Bunyola. Lovely jacuzzi on the roof terrace, but unfortunately it wasn't heated and the weather was cold!

Everything was great.

Beautiful boutique property in a charming location. We used Bunyola as a base to do a few days of driving / exploring Deia & Valledemosa- it was great to have the free carpark included. It is narrow and steep to access, so you really need a small car. Room was comfortable with a great view and private rooftop terrace. Bed was firm and comfy, shower had great pressure. Very clean. The only strange thing was not having a door on the toilet. Backyard/ pool area was so peaceful to just sit in during the evening. Staff were really lovely and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Access to the property is up some steep stairs and carpark is a bit of a hike from the accomodation- this seems to be common in Mallorca, wouldn’t stop us staying again.

It was such a beautiful stay, the mountains, it is so peaceful felt like we were the only ones there most Of the time. The breakfast was delicious and super healthy, and the staff were so welcoming

The only issue is the parking, you do need a car in this area if you want to get around to the beach, wouldn't advise a nervous driver to attempt the parking, we struggled in our little car- would be better in a 4x4- back wheel was off the ground every time we tried to get up, however this is expected in the mountains, and we were happy to have free Parking.

The room, terrace and roof were amazing. We loved the pool (although cold), the town is nice with a few good places to eat. All recommendations from the staff were appreciated. We loved the breakfast, and the avocado was a great addition.

Kettle in the room would have been good. Parking is a huge issue at this property, we parked in the public carpark for one night due to there being no availabile parking key for us to use the hotel parking. Once we got the key on the second night we should have been warned, the parking is up a farm track and in a field up a steep concrete road which you will easily scrape your front bumper going out unless you have a high vehicle. We scraped our Ford hire car on the front bumper. Due to this it actually would put us off booking again.

The service was perfect, due to Es Corte Vell having 10 rooms it meant that the pool was usually quiet. Allowing for a great and peaceful time lounging by it. The services from Inés and team was spectacular, always very attentive and super keen to help with booking local restaurants or recommendations for where to go for drinks in the evening. Couldn’t recommend more!

first of all, the staff is really amazing and welcoming, ready to help you when you ask. this is the main reason i am giving it a 10. i stayed in room son poc, the room was big and comfortable. the breakfast doesn't have many items, but those it has are good, especially homemade cakes.

the wifi had really bad signal, especially in the room i've stayed. it didn't bother me that much, but if you need wifi take this into consideration. the bathroom doesn't have a door, just a curtain. i didn't have a problem with it, but you've been warned :) .
