Hotel Círculo Artístico 1911 is an absolute delight! This cozy boutique hotel is nestled in the ancient heart of Caravaca de la Cruz, right on the doorstep of the beautiful Church of El Salvador. Just around the corner, you’ll find the Basilica Shrine of Vera Cruz, where you can view the legendary Cross of Caravaca—an incredible experience. Our room was fantastic, offering a breathtaking view of the Basilica. The shower was out of this world—just what we needed after a long day of exploring the town. Every detail of the hotel felt thoughtfully designed, blending history with comfort perfectly. If you’re visiting Caravaca de la Cruz, I highly recommend staying here. It’s an unforgettable experience in a truly special location!

High end boutique hotel in the centre of Caravaca, minutes from the Basilica. No expense spared in the design and decor of the renovation which is pleasing blend of modern and traditional. Particularly liked the automatic sliding doors. I had room with access to rooftop terrace which was nice to take morning coffee and sun. Room had dinky coffee machine and tea which I consider a valuable extra.

Little expensive for my budget but was last stop on the Camino so I enjoyed it.

We were more than impressed with the quality of the hotel and services offered. Although the room was on the small side, it was cleverly furnished and included all extras (toiletries, coffee/tea, mini bar, huge flat TV, phone) while the welcome and sense of comfort was great. Comfortable bed and great shower too! The hosts were charming and helpful. Perhaps it was the excellent breakfast that we enjoyed most! It was copious and fresh, and included the option of eggs, Spanish ham and local cheese. We were even offered slices of a recently made lemon cake. Delicious.

This is impossible to change! And not unusual in Spain. The modernised hotel is in the centre of the historic area of town so be warned that you cannot park in the street. If arriving in your own transport, ready your bags before arriving to drop off at the hotel before going to the nearby (200m) parking zones. It's easy enough to do.

We loved everything about this little hotel in the middle of the old city. We were able to unload in front of the hotel and parking was not far away. We had a very warm greeting and were helped with dinner plans and given some information about the area. They have a small, very cozy bar in which we were able to enjoy a drink. The details in the hotel's decoration were well thought out. There was a lot for the eyes to feast on. The little breakfast room was charming and the breakfast offered was lovely. We would definately, and have already, recommended this hotel further.

Beautiful top floor room with a private furnished terrace above it with lovely views. The room and en-suite were beautifully furnished and equipped. The location is great in the center of the old town.

A quirky small hotel in the old town, close to the medieval church. The room was comfortable and the bed large. The shower was excellent: large and modern, with good power.

The hotel was located in the old town; difficult to access by car. We had to trundle our luggage quite a distance over cobbles from our parking spot - but that is not the fault of the hotel.

Fabulous location. The staff were wonderful especially the owner. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms were laid out in a very thoughtful way and individually furnished. High standard of cleanliness all round. We will hopefully return soon. I would rate this as the No 1 place in Caravaca.
