My wife and I have been coming here for years. The staff are always friendly and no effort is too much for them. It is not a luxury accommodation but the rooms provide everything you need. We always rent the studio with the large terrace. Where in Castelldefels can you find accommodation with a larger terrace right by the sea? Just great. The installation of a lift at the rear of the hotel began in 2024. Meanwhile, the conversion has been completed and the upper flats are also available for guests with mobility problems. We take breakfast alternately at restaurant Soli and beach bar Bolero. The latter only opens from May and closes again sometime at the end of September. For us, the combination of a friendly helpful staff and comfortable accommodation works perfectly when you are also so close to the beach. Just cross the road. We go again in septmeber and come by car which we can park behind the hotel. The location is perfect and good for doing all sorts of things like hiking in the la Garraf nature reserve, a trip to Monserrat or shopping in Barcelona. You can also take padel lessons by simply approaching the padel clubs in the area. We regularly play at Club Deportivo Granvia Mar in Castelldefels and the Munay Club in Viladecans. We always look forward to staying here next time. If you plan to come with an electric car, there is a supercharger at the IBIS hotel in Castelldefels. You can then go shopping at Lidl or Mercadona while the car recharges. You do need a credit card. Just scan the QR code on the charger and then you can pay by credit card.

The studio on the third floor was very nice. You open your eyes and can see the sea. The terrace is very spacious, with a beautiful view. The room was cleaned regularly, and towels and sheets were changed. Special thanks to the receptionist, Paolla, who was very responsive, kind, and always smiling. Also, to the boy ( I think his name is Viktor) and the girl who served us breakfast every morning. We hope to see them again next year!!!

Maybe should put a dryer on the terrace for clothes and towels, etc. There are only two pipes, which are not enough and are installed very close to the wall and are not efficient. They were also rusted on them, which leaves a stain if the clothes are white to lighter.

Traveling, we usually choose apartments in the historic center of cities. Looking for apartments in Barcelona, accidentally found information about Solifemar in Casteldefels. Despite the distance from the Solifemar to the Barcelona Center is 20 km, the description of the apartment and photo of the terrace with the look at the sea did not leave us indifferent. We chose this apartment. And it was a very successful choice. Our positive emotions from this apartment were no less than from the famous tourist monuments of Barcelona. The apartment is clean, comfortable, well equipped. You can cook your own food in it. What is very comfortable is that the kitchen is a separate small room in this apartment. Although we also liked the restaurant at the hotel. Our special enthusiasm was caused by the terrace area no less than the room area. Noticeable is the careful attitude in the hotel to people with disabilities. A great positive is the ability to settle with pets.

The location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach with a great view. Inside the apartment , there is a separate kitchen with all you need, living room with an amazing balcony with a view and a bed room, better than the pictures. It's warm and has hot water running all the time. You can rent bikes and there is a great restaurant that you can also use. Staff is friendly.

Our room was first floor which was not the best view and our apartment was dated compared to the one next door. Wish I could chose the floor and the type during the booking process. Also, there was loud noise outside early in the morning made by staff ( I think they were dragging the cleaning carts and possibly only our room was affected due to the fact it was the last room in the block) which woke us up pretty much every day. Other than that was perfect.

Location, location, location. One could not be any closer to the beach than at Solifemar. A small residential town, it was quiet and the beaches were not very crowded. There was even a local dance school during our visit where there were tons of food trucks. The room was lovely with a nice sized terrace. The air conditioner worked just fine. Breakfast was copious. Another huge plus was that we wanted to spend a last afternoon at the beach before catching our flight much later in the evening and the reception kept our suitcase for us even after we had checked out. Really cool. Thanks so much!

The room is a large space with a kitchen and bath but the best part is the large terrace with both a table and chairs and two nice loungers for relaxing in the sun. It was a great spot to watch the Kiteboarders and windsurfers speed by and all the people enjoying the beachside walk, plus the view of the sea! The location is great for going into the city as it is just a few minutes from Barcelona and the airport. The room was amazingly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to cook simple meals, although the restaurant also serves great food and there are other interesting cafes and bars nearby for variety. The new elevator to the upper floors is a welcome addition and the availability of bicycles to borrow is another plus. Good wifi coverage. We will be back !

The beach was within walking distance. I had a sea view room with balcony. Unfortunately, the weather was a letdown. But I was only there for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I hired a car which enabled me to visit central Barcelona, however I chose to park up at Zona Universitaria and get a 48 hour travelcard online which I then collected at the Zona Universitaria metro station. There are machines in the station too so you can probably purchase a travelcard there too perhaps. Supermarkets were a 5-10 minute drive away so I was able to get groceries as I prefer cook than eat out, and it's cheaper. I travelled to Sitges (via toll road). As this was my first time to Barcelona, I didn't know what to expect. On reflection I probably would have considered staying in Sitges.

Breakfast was simple but 3 good options for different tastes and very nice little restaurant to eat in. Staff very nice and helpful. Location is superb for easy access to the sea and beach. Very relaxing, not too busy while I was there but obviously popular. Lovely Blvd to use hotel bikes. Many restaurants along the Blvd to enjoy a meal by the beach. My room was pretty clean. Had only a simple fridge and microwave and basic bed, but I didnt need anything more

Overall I was quite happy- shower worked well, bed was reasonably comfortable. Pillows could have been a bit softer I guess?

Very convenient place to stay before a flight from Barcelona airport. I used to stay in El Prat de Llobregat area in the past before an early flight from Barcelona, but in the end this hotel is only 10min drive from the airport, so pretty much the same as if you stay in El Prat and you can enjoy the beach right across the street. The sunrise was wonderful to watch. A few nice restaurants were also open in the area. The room was clean and comfortable with reasonable prices.

The lady at the reception made a small mistake when we checked in, informing us the booking included the breakfast. I even showed my surprise, as I thought it's not and she confirmed again. When we came for it in the morning, we were told it's not. Not a big deal, but I just wanted to mention it.

We stayed in the "studio" room with the big balcony directly overlooking the sea. It was lovely! The view and outdoor space with dining table and lounge chairs is worth the stay alone. The room was perfectly nice, quite dated in style, but super clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and spoke great English. We were able to take bicycles for free for an hour to bike down the beach and over to a grocery store. We ate on the balcony as the sun set, which was beautiful and very convenient with the little kitchen.
