A fantastic location, right in the centre of the historic town with lots of bars and restaurants. There was a great choice of breakfast and the room was functional. There was also space under the hotel for parking, although we cycled and parked our bikes in a secure area, which was really great.

There was nothing particular that we didn't like, the rooms were functional but old style.

Breakfast could be improved. Plenty of variety but though I was first in the restaurant, the cooked food looked and tasted as if cooked some time before

Friendly and understanding staff - many thanks to the receptionist! Very comfortable room and entry system. We were also very pleased with the breakfast, which we took additionally. The hotel is located in a very beautiful area, will definitely come here again

Arcos Hotel is inside the fortress city of Ciudad Rodrigo near the Cathedral. Has its own market store. Room is perfect for 4 people in family. Good wifi connection near the door. Good amenities. Parking the car free only outside the fortress, but in a parking space and close by in a walking distance.

I had hoped for parking but it was full - it wasn't too much of an issue as there was parking round the corner

Good location in the historic city near the cathedral. Within easy walking distances of all the historic sights and the city walls. Interior decoration smart and modern. Staff friendly and showed us where to find close by car parking spaces, which were free to use in the evenings.

Only a small fridge available in the room.

Beautiful old building right in the heart of the city and opposite the cathedral. I had a room with a glass balcony which was very pretty.

The bathroom was tiny and the shower useless for anyone over 5ft. The staff were very rude and ignored us on note than one occasion trying to get served. When my friend tried to check in they told him he didn’t have a booking and walked away.

Just near the cathedral with ample parking at the hotel. The staff were vey welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a joy of friendly Spanish visitors, food was plentiful with good choices. Our room with balcony was a good size but in need of updating however the bathroom had been updated with an added bonus of a full body power shower. Ciudad Rodrigo is a traditional and compact walled city with easy access to all of it's amenities. There are plenty of bars and restaurants with tapas and good local cuisine at reasonable prices.

The room was a disappointment.

It is a very comfortable hotel in a historic and pretty small city. Everything is within a very short walking distance , from the hotel and it is a safe family friendly city to be in.
