Overall a really great experience, though with room for improvements in order to match the price level. The breakfast was really nice, but again why charge 6€ for a omelette, when you’re paying such a high price for the stay… Coffee was not the best. The dinner in the restaurant was outstanding and far beyond expectations and the local wine is absolutely drinkable.

We missed a bit more service in the pool area and perhaps some lounge music. The pool area is nice but has much bigger potential. We stayed at the Suite (Room 6), which was very nice, but terrasse could be improved with curtains in the Cabana, plants or decor to make it cozy’er / 5-star experience.

We didn't like the parties organised next to our hotel / swimming pool... Loud wedding party on Saturday , then loud communion reception on Sunday . It didn't allow us to truely relax and enjoy our peaceful time there and this place is really made for people to relax and take a break from crowds of people and noise. The last thing we didn't like was the receptionist calling our room at 12.10 for check out while we were just going downstairs . I understand it was 10 min later but nobody ever called us for that in any other hotel :)

We had the most amazing stay! The views were absolutely breathtaking and instantly put us in holiday mode. The pool area was stunning and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The service throughout our stay was exceptional—every staff member was warm, helpful, and attentive. The food was a real highlight. The breakfast buffet had so many delicious options and everything was beautifully presented. And lunch was just as impressive—the salads in particular were incredible, fresh, and full of flavour. We truly loved every moment and can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous location in the mountains with wonderful views from the terrace and pool. The restaurant is set amidst a beautiful bougainvillea strewn courtyard and offers good lunch as dinner options. The continental breakfast is completely self service but with good choice. It’s a great location from which to explore the island. Free car parking is a bonus.

Room 26 has a bad drain smell from the bathroom which is quite unpleasant. They did offer to switch rooms, but we’d already unpacked and opted to stay, keep the door shut and all use the bathroom in the second room. The staff were friendly but didn’t introduce the facilities or show us the room on arrival. Just gave us a key! The pool area was very busy and noisy with kids. No pool side service. There was a wedding reception on the Friday which did affect use of the facilities by hotel guests. It’s a bit on pricey side.

We had a great stay here. The breakfast was excellent and the lunch and evening meals were fantastic but also very good value for money. Although you have to enquire about the cost of the drinks they are actually good value for money, beers and cocktails. A perfect setting and only 35 mins from the airport.

We read all of the reviews before booking and there are a few negative comments but our stay was really good. It would be nice to get a coffee or a tea before breakfast starts as there are no facilities in the rooms but it really didnt matter as we were on the whole really pleased with everything. Staff were pleasant but not overly familiar. The restaurant staff were really pleasant.

Extraordinary beautiful location. Hotel and rooms were great and design and interior very nice. Pool area perfect. Nice and quiet. Perfect location for hiking and cycling. Close to Alaro with nice restaurants and supermarket.

The food did not meet our expectations. They should improve on that.

Staff are super friendly and nothing to much trouble. They seem to be a small team so always a familiar face when you need it. Food is excellent, although choice can be limited however it is a small hotel (~30 rooms) and the quality is excellent. The scenery is beautiful and the layout of the property such that there was always a table / seat / sun lounger to sit and admire it, major benefit of it's small number of guests.

There was nothing we didn't like, there are, though, a few minor things that would have made a lovely stay perfect. Taking into account the age of the property (which gives it it's charm) it is still a bit tired in places. Nothing to put you off, it could just be another step up with a little attention. A/c in the room was also quite basic and struggled to cope with the heat, it was 36 degrees outside so possibly a bit picky but again would make a good stay so much better. Small point would have been to have switched it on in the room before we arrived so it was already cool, we had to work out how to switch it on ourselves.

The location was very beautiful and secluded. The scenery was 10/10 and the property is laid out very well with lots of quiet spaces to explore. I also really loved the decor around the gardens and plants. A lot of original decor and old details inside the hotel also.

Sadly we arrived to our stay pretty late and had to leave very early the next day missing out on the included buffet breakfast by 30mins. We mentioned this the night before to the front desk staff and they told us to come down early anyway and we can have some things before we leave as it should all be set up. It was ready in the morning but we're a bit disappointed to find that the staff woman on was not offering us anything and seemed very annoyed we even asked to make a coffee with the machine. Eventually we found a banana and had a quick coffee before leaving. Such a shame because the breakfast looked great and technically we paid for it...

The people did all they can to make you feel at home! Fantastic personel. Great location. Great building.

Poolwater was icecold in April and too much chloride smell. Television did not work and although mentioned 3 times nobody solved it. Food was good but the kitchen had some problem preparing exactly what was ordered. The room 22 was a bit smelly. Shower in bathtub not essy. Second day was no warm water in shower all day. Wifi was ok but not quick.

Old buildings perfectly preserved give an elegant and timeless feeling to this stunning hotel, emplaced within magnificent natural surroundings. The rooms are huge, functional, and classy. The pool is perfect for both fun and relax. And don't get me started with the restaurant!!! Just the olive oil from the house is worth the visit. Most genuinely attentive staff I have ever seen.
