It was a beautiful property with nice sized comfortable rooms. The morning breakfast had a lot of variety and was well displayed the desk staff was very helpful assisting us in charging our e-bikes at night.

I have traveled all over the world. Rarely have I felt no invisible. We at first thought it was just our imagination but then we started paying close attention to how the staff was interacting with us and other guests in the bar,restaurant and breakfast room. Other guests were being waited on and helped with ordering coffee,drinks,etcetera but we were ignored like we were not even there. I’m not sure if this is part of the backlash that is taking place in Spain against foreign tourists or it had to do with us not speaking Spanish. What ever the cause I know that we did not do anything to deserve such treatment. We are both well mannered quiet friendly people who go out of our way to be courteous.as beautiful and comfortable as this hotel is,we will never be back.

Big room, big balcony, great view, big pool. Very nice breakfast.

The opening hours of the big pool are odd. Forget a swim before or after breakfast; the pool only opens at 11.00. Staff are not unfriendly, but they will not voluntarily give you ANY information. Not about wifi, not about breakfast, not about the pool and towels, not about the bus that goes from the hotel to the city center every half hour. And unless you take a taxi, you need the bus - especially on the uphill way back.

Loved the Cordoba Parador. I paid for a superior room and it was great. Very comfortable and spacious with a lovely walk in wardrobe! Even had tea and coffee making facilities, which not all Paradors do. Hotel was really stylish, with excellent seating areas, good bar and outside terrace. The gardens are also beautiful and there are fabulous views down to the town. Air conditioning was very efficient - essential as it was very hot when we visited. Pool was huge with plenty of beds in the lush garden area. Dinner and breakfast excellent, and all staff were friendly and efficient. There is plentiful free parking, even had EV charging. The hotel is a short €11 taxi ride into the centre of town. Definitely recommend.

We loved the big beautiful room that we were upgraded to. It had a wonderful terrace overlooking the city of Cordoba. Very comfortable room and bed, great ensuite, a walk in robe to hang your clothes, a couch, two armchairs, a desk and electric kettle for coffee/tea. The Parador was in a leafy location outside of Cordoba, it was just under a 10 euro ride to the Jewish Quarter and main historical area. Staff were very good and breakfast was also excellent. The hotel is excellent and would imagine quite lovely in the huge garden and pool in the warmer months.

The staff were amazing, they couldn't have done more for you, particularly during the dinner experience. The food was very good, albeit a bit overpriced - both dinner and breakfast I would under normal circumstances paid less. Unfortunately, the Aircon also did not seem to work which made sleeping in 25 degrees difficult. But I cannot overstate the friendliness of the staff, our every request was handled quickly, professionally and with a smile on their faces. The location is a bit outside of the city center, but personally we liked the tranquility and being away from the hustle and bustle. My wife absolutely loved the hotel's antique style

For a family with older children this is a perfect place to stay in Cordoba. The bus nr 13 takes 20 minutes to drop you off at the city center and it runs every 30 minutes. Before or after a walk around the old beautiful town there is the big swimming pool in the hotel garden to relax and cool down. The rooms are big and comfortable. Personnel is very friendly. There was a policy of not bringing drinks or food in the hotel, which is fine and understandable, but with temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius only a small bottle of water in the mini bar was not enough at all. Fortunately there is a Mercadona supermercado at 5 minutes walking distance.

The balcony and the view is the best thing about this property. The staff were also very good. The room is spacious and comfortable. The linens were super fresh and starched. I loved the kettle with the delicious teas.

The whole place seems to need a good cleaning. It's not that the room wasn't clean but many other areas could use a good scrub e.g., the main patio needs sweeping, the fountains need to be emptied of garbage or cleaned of grime and there was a huge pile of dead bugs off to the side of our balcony. That's just a few examples. It's also a shame that it was 28 degrees and the pool isn't open. It was hot and stuffy in the room and the AC didn't work well. We kept the balcony door open all night and so we managed.

We appreciated the clearcut standard of the classic hotel. The size of the room, the clean bed linens, comfortable beds, the additional , comfortable sitting area with desk. The lighting in the room was adequate. The view from the room was lovely, not even the best in the hotel, and still very nice. The pool size and cleanness of the pool.

Beginning with hall entrance , and everything else in the hotel is quite dated. Wear and tear of some carpets in common areas is more than one likes to see. The garden grounds including alleys and stairs, once beautiful for sure , are now deteriorated and run down. The access to pool is cumbersome . Pool staff offers strictly one towel per person. The water is very cold, pool is not heated.

The Hotel itself was excellent with lovely views, garden and facilities. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant were attentive and efficient. We didn't have an evening meal so cannot comment on this although there was plenty of choice on the menu. A lovely relaxing stay.

The only negative was it wasn't central to the city, but taxis cost between €7-€10 and were easy to find. Although I have put this as a negative, because of its location the hotel had amazing views.
