I booked last minute, what a beautiful historic medieval town with castle walls and cobbled streets! The hotel was right in the old town, in the high street, my 3rd floor room had views, and beamed ceiling. The room was spacious, a comfy bed, it had a bath in the bathroom, and lots of windows. The restaurant did menu del dia for 16 euros. The staff were very helpful showing me where to park and carrying my bag. Highly recommended

The parking was up the hill behind the hotel and necessary to go to reception first to find out how to access it. The narrow streets in the town to get to the hotel were not easy to navigate. Googlemap tried to take me the wrong way!

I have booked many hotels in the past but have never before written a recommendation because there has always been some disappointment. This hotel is located in a delightful medieval walled town and was presumably a coaching inn in the past. I simply could not find fault. Location, ambience, staff, room furnishing, dinner and breakfast were all excellent. The unexpected bonus was that we arrived on the last day of a three day medieval fair which was superb. We will certainly return for a longer stay, as a base for exploring the region, although at a time when the temperature is a little cooler.

Hotel Cienbalcones was a great place to stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the hotel had a charming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We also had a lovely walk around the castle that surrounds the town – a great experience with beautiful views and lots of history. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in a charming town!

The location is excellent set within a pretty village.There was an on-site bar, cafeteria and restaurant. Prices were reasonable. 2 eur50 for a glass of wine or a beer.Rooms were basic but clean and with all you need. There was air conditioning, a fridge would be nice. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel if passing through this area.

We arrived a handful of minutes before the earliest arrival time - but that seemed to be no problem. The hotel is in the main street but we were able to park just opposite and leave the car there. Efficient and friendly reception and very pleasant room. The evening meal was exceptionally good value for money and thoroughly satisfying. Given that the overnight accommodation was also very reasonably priced we felt that it had been an excellent choice.

The private secure parking is space limited and a little walk away from the hotel. That being said we have stayed here several times and always been given a space in the car park. There is also on street parking immediately outside the hotel.

The hotel was perfect for our needs being an overnight stop to a family reunion. The rooms were fine and beds comfortable. Would have preferred a walk in shower as the ladies were unable to get into the bath to shower. Restaurant was great value and breakfast was good.

No walk in shower. Orange juice at breakfast was cheap and nasty. Just minor points really.

The hotel was clean and comfortable throughout and the staff were polite and helpful. The position of the hotel was ideal with adequate safe parking facilities

The standard of the buffet breakfast....having to use the same utensil for the hot food. Certain foods ran out and weren't replenished so some diners had very little choice

They only had two solo rooms- as we were a family of 4, I booked both and one kid went into one room with one adult. They put us on the 1st floor balcony that adjoined each other, so while it was not a 2 bedroom- if definitely felt that way. The bathrooms are modern and clean. Also- their breakfast was awesome. Fresh churros, pastries and juices.. also great selection of eggs, jamón and bread. Thank you

I wish they had more availability! We only got to stay there for one day. Next time- I would want to stay there longer.

Great for our one night stop over in an interesting little town. Spacious, very clean room overlooking the hotel's courtyard with bath & shower. A small fridge was also a benefit ( very handy). We had a fantastic meal in the evening which was great value.We also enjoyed a great breakfast. Hotel parking, although we parked on the street opposite. A perfect stop for us & we would definitely stay again.
