The pool is well kept clean and tidy lovely to relax around . Our room had a very comfortable bed and nice views we took our own travel kettle to make tea. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

We will make the comment that some sort of simple divides around the dinning room breaking up large areas of tables would help with the rush and manic walking around by clients staying , to collect their breakfasts , simply it needs more relaxing dinning experience for buffet dinning. (The lounge bar has exactly this configuration)

We asked to change rooms as the first room did not meet our expectations. The reception staff upgraded us free of charge to a superior sea view room. The view from our room on the fifth floor was spectacular. The hotel staff were all very helpful. The pool areas are great . We were there at the start of April so the pool was still a bit "Fresh" but that was to be expected. The food was as expected for a buffet style and for the amount we paid. The hotel is perfectly situated to enjoy the traditional fishing village, stunning beaches via the small ferry, access to the natural wet land walks and the purpose built small commercial centre on it's doorstep with a variety of restaurants, bars and boutique shops.

It can be very busy and very noisy around the main pool as a result of all the activities organised by staff. The area's back from the pool towards the hotel can get quite scruffy and the sunloungers are a bit tired and I need or replacement/repair The hotel has additional charges to use the in-room safe and to park a. Given the price of the rooms this feels like a rip-pff and not what most other hotels of this rating would do. There is no happy-hour drinks price, (which explains why the hotel bar is often empty until very late in the evening The buffet has a great selection but it's repetitiive if you're there for a week

This was the finest booking EVER in my five years of using Booking.com. The night marked the 7th night of a Spanish road trip and I booked in hopes of finding stay-in comfort for the night. It exceeded my hopes and would easily earn six stars in every category if available. And it came with an exceptional breakfast buffet!

It is very large and a bit confusing because the ground floor checkin is actually the 5th floor

The location is excellent. Everything is right on the doorstep .Beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere. Staff are very welcoming and professional. Good size swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds. The room is a good size and bed very comfy. Towels changed regularly. Plenty of parking available also you get two complimentary tickets for boat trip across river to beach at Atlantic ocean . Really enjoyed stay

Maybe a little refreshing of rooms and entertainment

The food at the hotel was excellent. Great choice and high quality. The room was comfortable but together with the bathroom needs a bit of modernisation. The pools and facilities were excellent. The staff were all pleasant and very obliging. The Entertainment team were excellent - full of energy and very engaging with all age groups.

The bedroom and bathroom were a bit tired. Need a bit of modernisation.

Liked: Location, good buffet, excellent customer service from the lady serving us in the bar and the reception.

Would have preferred: Although we had a lovely room it was at the far end of the building which was not so good for us as my husband had hurt his knee! Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Parts of the building smelt 'musty'

The hotel is clean and the staff are excellent they go above and beyond. Thanks to Emule for the Portugal trip details we had a lovely day on Saturday. The mud flats are a great place for nature lovers where you get to see a variety of Birdlife such as Egrats, Gulls, Turnstone, Whimbrel, Azure Winged Magpies and Hoopoes.

The aircon wasn't great and it was very noisy 2 out of the 7 nights, it wasn't the hotels fault but the bars in the village nearby, when reported to reception they did call the police to look into as that is all they can do.

This is a beautiful building in a lovely village with a prominent lighthouse and natural park surrounding the area. The staff were really welcoming and there was a safe place to leave our bikes. The location is gorgeous with great views over the village. The outdoor pool was lovely and breakfast was great. The WiFi was brilliant and a great choice of TV channels.

Some of the facilities could be updated, charging points in the room for example.
