Breakfast is served downstairs in the cafeteria/dining room. The staff were very polite and service was very good. The rooms are a good size and had a Jacuzzi-bath which was very welcome after a long days drive on my way south, although I could not figure out how to get the bubbles working and there didn't seem to be any instructions. The main desk check-in process was a breeze, staff polite and very helpful. I was traveling with expensive road bike and asked if they had a secure storage location which they did, but it was also no problem to keep it in my room, which I really appreciate.

Large comfortable room, very clean and comfortable beds

Breakfast service was overcomplicated and very restrictive. Expected to have no restriction to bread and pastries but given one small croissant and one small pastry only. Long list of breakfast options for cooked food limited to three items per guest. In addition to my single croissant and pastry I received a small bowl of fresh fruit and an orange juice. Not the most filling of breakfasts before a long day travelling.

They made some changes to the restaurant choices , i.e. no more breakfast buffet you have to make your 3 choices on a menu list present it as you sit down to breakfast ,beverages coffee,tea and fruit juices are included in the breakfast rate. Any items above your choice of 3 per person are extra. I can see this may cut down on waste . The choice of the three items includes typical hot and cold items and is sufficient for a good morning meal.

The staff we loved and the food. This hotel has the best breakfast we have ever had in any country. Really good and fresh and prepared on the spot. The bathroom had a bathtub with bubbles and products from rituals that smelled so good! I had to take a bath because why not? who doesnt love bubbles?? and then we went for dinner downstairs. I think this is a great place for a short stop and nice food. Its close to the fort Castell de Sant ferran - book a visit in advance. Do not miss it. We loved the retro vibe of the hotel and felt like we were back in time in some sort of period movie. We took pics by the phone booth had not seen one in a while we are almost 40 so nostalgia is a big thing. 🥘 My husband is a cook in Sweden and very much into wine and was super satisfied with the quality of the food and drinks. Our waiter was gold and he overdelivered! explained every dish and story behind it and made sure we tried the best drinks. Prices were also good. We will definetly come back to have lunch there, since we learned the "comida" at lunch time is when they served the tasting menu and tis when the locals come. This restaurant is an old institution of the city and its worth visiting. We could also see that it atrracts some diverse set of people locals and internaitonals passing by. We ourselves stopped there after driving from france many hours.

The hotel is great and the staff too, but it's definetly outdated. At night we had dinner in the bar lounge and there was no music on - it was complete silence. The staff said the sound system broke. The rooms are all in dark wood and light wood combined which makes it look old. We still had a good time. The bathtub with jacuzzi, the service and the food compensated for the outdated look.

I liked the property, it had a nice feeling but it was a weird one as they made efforts to refurbish but its a mix of old and new and some things not done well like the bathroom with no wall tiles and missing sealant in bath / shower causing water over the floor. The staff were great, the lovely lady on reception deserves a ten just for herself, the breakfast was really good , food so fresh and beautifully presented and cooked. The lady in the breakfast room was also very good at her job and lovely and friendly. Cannot comment on restaurant as my wife not well when we arrived due to the long journey and we did not eat. My wife loved the jacuzzi bath.

Says its a 4 star but the actual bedroom and its facilities are disappointing. Window shutters that make dreadful noise opening and closing, don’t close properly and come open in the wind and bang on the wall. Strange patchwork wood floor panels and there is also as no in room hot drink provision (coffee machine or kettle)

The room was simple but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were very good, and the servers were very nice and accomodating. We had a really good experience. In particular, we loved the breakfast. We also paid 15 euros for the underground parking, which was good, as we had a lot of luggage with us and we wanted it safe. The garage is locked overnight, which was great.

The bathroom needed a little bit more cleaning. Otherwise, we have no complaints.

This hotel was very comfortable, clean and well kept. The staff was very helpful. We went to the “Wine Bar” in the evening thinking we were just getting a drink and snacks and ended up eating an EXCELLENT dinner there. One of the best restaurants on our trip around Spain. Getting a taxi to get into the Dali museum was easy.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to walk into the city easily. The terrace was lovely for breakfast or a drink in the evening.

There was a slightly bad smell on occasion in our room, which we think was from the aircon. However, we forgot to mention it to reception when we checked out. There was quite a lot of road noise but nothing excessive.

Large clean room. Good to have a fridge. Great breakfast. Very good choice; you could select three dishes from the menu in addition to coffee and fruit juice. More than adequate - not sure why some have given negative reviews. Very personable waitress Maryam served us with friendly professionalism.

Unfortunately the guest lift was out of order, so we had to use the service lift which was also necessary for staff use. Other than that, no complaints at all.

We’ve stayed two times, 2nd by choice even if we had to have two rooms because the staff are really kind, they make check in hassle free, knowing we’ve all been driving for hours usually! the room has a jacuzzi bath. the room is really warm it’s lovely, hot water always, lovely breakfast and nice coffee( not cheap stuff) fresh fruit for breakfast or eggs and bacon, yoghurts etc. location is perfect for the motorway and really close to town. they provide slippers which is comfy and stops the banging when we walk around ( horrid in a hotel ). 12€ per dog. my only wish is that they would install a vending machine with perhaps drinks and some snacks for those who don’t just want water. We will be back at Easter. Suitable for small kids also!
