Room was great - they provided us with a better - bigger room since our dog was staying with us too. It even had a small balcony and a "view". The breakfast was not really special of any kind - but there was something for everybody - it was a pitty that apart from the nice totrilla - the kitchen was mostly focused on tourists. Also the quality of the bed was great!

The big misunderstanding with the hotel around the fee for the dog. I had provided all necessary details (incl. weight of my dog). I had asked about this when I reserved the hotel - they simply answered with standard generated messages that ALL was fine. nevertheless, when I arrived at the hotel - the max. accepted dog weight was normally 18kgs (mine was 50kgs). So they made an exception and we had to pay 20 EUR fee as well. With the message that had sent this information to us. Which in the end appeared to be correct. They sent it to us at 3am in the morning on the day we were travelling. Hence, we didn't see it only at arrival in the hotel!

Good location within a 10 minute walk of the Dali Musuem and the Ramblas. 15-20 minute walk to the Bus and Rail Stations. Unimpressive exterior but a grand feel to the entrance lobby and the interior decoration of the hotel. Desk staff spoke good English, were polite, friendly, and very helpful. Two lifts. Our room was clean, spacious and had a large, very comfortable bed. Good reading lamps. Bathroom had a bath with a shower. Nice view over the city from our room on the fifth floor at the rear of the hotel. Decent selection for breakfast that changed a bit each day. Pastries and muffins etc left over from breakfast were available to guests on the front desk later.

Even with a room at the rear, it was surprisingly noisy at times, as the walls and ceilings were quite thin. Our first breakfast on the Sunday was rather chaotic: the hotel was busy (as one might expect) but staffing was clearly inadequate to deal with the demand and turnover. Some long queues for the coffee machines at time and I had to wait 5 minutes before a pile of clean plates was brought out. Better the rest of our stay but I felt the self-service area might have been better organised: a big space but occasional bottlenecks.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. We had seen it was a 4* but as the price was so reasonable we were not expecting the level of service we received. The reception staff were always very helpful and the room was lovely and clean. The breakfast was very good and reasonable priced. Included some tortilla and sausages and not just cold food. The beds were very comfortable and the room had free bathroom products available if required.

Not a big issue - The water from the shower was not fully contained by the glass panel beside the bath. Bit of a walk from the train station (15 minutes).

Parking was across the road in a secure parking space for 15 Euro a night. We could see our car from our room. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The hotel is not far from bars and restaurants and the breakfast in the hotel was good. Beds are large and very comfortable. There is a minibar in the room and good air conditioning

Just a minor issue, there are quite a few dogs in the hotel, which isn't a problem, but when they all go out in the street outside the hotel to pee, it leaves a strong smell just outside the door.

Room was well laid out. Breakfast was the best we've had in Spain with Real Orange machine, salmon, decent coffee and a good range in the buffet. Location is great, around the corner from the main square and Dali Museum, but away from the road works. Easy to find hotel and garage is at the back. The outside may look a but tired, but inside a bright and clean, with lots of Dali works dotted around.

The flat TV is a bit old, so our USB drive didn't play. Could do with a light blanket or extra thick sheet in the room for night.

Bed and pillows the best we’ve had in a hotel. Our dog was accommodated and even at breakfast there was a separate room for us to eat whilst she was with us.

Check in took over 30 minutes. We could not check in on line as could not scan our passport whilst travelling. Even if we had, the people checking in in front of us had not done it either, so we would still have had to wait to collect the key. The receptionist was very proficient, but it took time explaining the car parking etc to everyone and completing their check in.

Comfortable hotel in a perfect location, just half a kilometre from Dalí's birthplace and the Dalí and Gala Museum. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Parking is available just across the street.

Overdesigned according to my taste. A shower instead of a bathtub would have been much more practical. Also, security should be addressed differently, not by blocking the windows. Apart from a small window in the bathroom, there’s no way to ventilate the room

Really good hotel - Very helpful and friendly staff, room was very large with a massive bed, bathroom was spacious and we had a balcony, secure parking underneath the hotel for motorcycle was great, excellent breakfast buffet with a huge selection (cereals, bread, cheeses, hams, smoked salmon, sausages, scrambled egg, tortilla, pastries, cake, fruit, yoghurt etc). Hotel is located on a main road but no traffic noise in the hotel. It is in a central location - only a 10 minute walk into the city centre for tourist attractions (Salvador Dali Theatre/Museum) , restaurants, bars etc. and a 30 minute walk to Sant Ferran Castle which is well worth a visit.

From arrival - location was good, staff were helpful and friendly, room was spacious and clean, had anything needed, good view over the city towards the coast. Breakfast buffet was very good and was excellent value. The room rate was excellent value.

Other than breakfast, there were no restaurant or bar options. There was a minibar in the room and if anything was needed, I'm it could be supplied. Lots of option also in the area, outside of the hotel.

Good location, easy to find and only a short walk to the main sights, restaurants. Although there was cheap secure parking on site, there was a public car park directly across the road where motorcycle parking was free. This fact was mentioned by reception for us to make the choice, excellent! We also had a whirlpool bath which was a nice bonus after a long days ride.

Needed a shower curtain when not using the whirlpool.
