Good location within a 10 minute walk of the Dali Musuem and the Ramblas. 15-20 minute walk to the Bus and Rail Stations. Unimpressive exterior but a grand feel to the entrance lobby and the interior decoration of the hotel. Desk staff spoke good English, were polite, friendly, and very helpful. Two lifts. Our room was clean, spacious and had a large, very comfortable bed. Good reading lamps. Bathroom had a bath with a shower. Nice view over the city from our room on the fifth floor at the rear of the hotel. Decent selection for breakfast that changed a bit each day. Pastries and muffins etc left over from breakfast were available to guests on the front desk later.

Even with a room at the rear, it was surprisingly noisy at times, as the walls and ceilings were quite thin. Our first breakfast on the Sunday was rather chaotic: the hotel was busy (as one might expect) but staffing was clearly inadequate to deal with the demand and turnover. Some long queues for the coffee machines at time and I had to wait 5 minutes before a pile of clean plates was brought out. Better the rest of our stay but I felt the self-service area might have been better organised: a big space but occasional bottlenecks.

Really good hotel - Very helpful and friendly staff, room was very large with a massive bed, bathroom was spacious and we had a balcony, secure parking underneath the hotel for motorcycle was great, excellent breakfast buffet with a huge selection (cereals, bread, cheeses, hams, smoked salmon, sausages, scrambled egg, tortilla, pastries, cake, fruit, yoghurt etc). Hotel is located on a main road but no traffic noise in the hotel. It is in a central location - only a 10 minute walk into the city centre for tourist attractions (Salvador Dali Theatre/Museum) , restaurants, bars etc. and a 30 minute walk to Sant Ferran Castle which is well worth a visit.

The hotel is easy to find from the autopista/N260 and offers limited underground secure parking. The room was spacious, air-conditioned and with terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The location is excellent for visiting the centre of Figueres and the Theatre-Museum of Dali. Many restaurants are nearby.

Registering is difficult because the hotel is on the very busy Avenida Salvador Dali and there is no 'pull-in' outside. It is necessary to park briefly in a public car park opposite.

A good size room. Bathroom was functional but the in-bath shower was a bit small. The breakfast offering was very good. The staff, especially those at reception, were exceptional. The old town of Figueres was delightful.

The photo of the hotel on Booking.com was inaccurate. It clearly depicts the existence of a bar and restaurant in the hotel, which is not the case. The hotel, prior to its acquisition by Sercotel was previously known as The President, and it is likely the facilities existed then but they do not exist now.

Spacious and comfortable room with bathtub. Good breakfast, despite the service a bit chaotic. Atmosphere of the place. Good location with easy access to the town center.

It seems that there was not enough room for all the guests during breakfast. There was a bit of a wait to get a seat and the staff were unable to replenish the food properly.

Balcony was nice surprise. Room was really big, Hotel is bit older - mean the style is like the luxury old hotel- I was expecting ghosts -like in shining...nothing happened ...ha ha ha ha ha... But make no mistake all is modernized and the today standards are met and with bonus "the space" :)

The Night we stayed in was really windy and the wood window protection was squeezing and moving and opening and difficult (impossible) to close it. In middle of night I made like crazy solution with part of my bikini to keep it close- it worked otherwise I will had no chance to sleep at all.

The decor is Dali-esque in a quirky way and the bedroom was comfortable with the addition of a powerful jet bath, which was a pleasant surprise. The concierge staff were professional, very multilingual and courteous. Enjoyed our stay in Figueres at the Sercotel President very much.

The parking situation wasn't clear in terms of whether you have to check in first, but that was probably my fault. Also, very tight in the parking bays themselves but managed to get in without any issue in the end.

We were upgraded to a triple with a jacuzzi, so the room was large with a comfortable king-size bed, a/c, and a minibar fridge, and the bathroom was spacious. The breakfast in the beautiful dining area was very good, and a bottle of cava (bubbly) was open if you wished to make mimosas with the freshy-squeezed OJ. The Dalí Museum was just a short walk away.

One elevator was out of service. Entering and exiting the hotel parking garage was challenging due to the narrow street.

At the arrival in the hotel we were welcomed by a smiling receptionist. This is very important for guests ! She helped us organise immediately the parking for the car (at a more than reasonable price, it must be said!). Our chihuahua received also his very happy welcome. The room had a large 12 m² closed balcony (room at the back of the hotel) and a whirlpool, very spacious. It was the superior room, but worth paying the extra. The bed was extremely large - guess must be the american size - and not to hard, not to soft neither. We must emphasize that the room was clean, the bed weel made. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast. Yes, we had to sit in the bar because we do not want the leave our baby (chihuahua Blackyà and go to the restaurant side (oops 15 meter max !). People complaining about this should bear in mind that in Europe animals are not allowed in the restaurant - a big fine can be given for this to the owners of the place ! So, thank you Sercotel President hotel for the fantastic solution. People complaing that the breakfast buffet is not enough have no idea what is offered - perhaps they are to focussed on reviewing the bad points ?) - at least 5 kinds of bread, viennoisserie, 2 types of eggs, etc.... So yes, we went back and forward from the breakfast room to the bar, but who cares. Our baby was happy and we were happy. That matters. When I read certain reviews ..... If you want to complain, of course you will always find something. I would say, get a life and do it yourselves better then. Thank you Sercotel President hotel for the nice stay. See you guys again in January 2024.

We would have loved to see some information where to eat in the evening, maybe a suggestion board.

Hotel is a little dated and decorated in a Roman-Greko style which is fun little flashback to the past, however it is clean and well serviced so perfectly fine to stay. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice and the staff were lovely. There is not really anywhere to park outside the hotel so you must first park the car - there is parking is directly across the road which had plenty of room but in peak season this might be harder (call the hotel for the name of the parking garage they use to get a discount).

No obvious bad points, could just use a lick of paint here and there.
