Room and location was fantastic. We weren't sure what to expect but it exceeded our expectations. Whilst a bit pricey, you get what you pay for and the view from our room was amazing.
Its not something the Hotel could do anything about, but the local Forest Fires became a problem and so we had to end our stay earlier than planned. That meant some back and forth with Booking.com as the Hotel said we needed to manage any changes through them. The operator at Booking.com was great though and helped us resolve matters.

The hotel location is phenomenal and worth the drive to this remote location. Great lunch/dinner.
Most of the hotel was very clean, but our bathroom shower had quite a lot of mold. They could do better. We had a good meal at the restaurant for dinner. We did not like that the only option for breakfast was the big buffet as we are "just coffee" people and the price is high for non-eaters. We did manage to get a small pot of coffee for 8 or 10 euros that we had in the empty bar area, but it was not satisfying and there were no servers there. Staff was the least friendly and helpful of all Parador hotels we have visited, but again, the location was worth the drive.

Absolutely amazing place: this almost 100 years old hotel is so charming and is located in a perfect place near the gondola. Very picturesque! The interior carefully saves cozy details, but is not outdated, the bathrooms are good. There are even hiking sticks in the rooms, i highly recommend using them if you decide to hike down from the mountain, they literally saved our legs. Breakfast buffet is pretty solid, with hot dishes available, as well as gluten-free options.
Breakfast and supper are a bit chaotic, there are several "shifts" people eat in and you need a reservation to eat at a restaurant. There aren't a lot of alternatives around, so you are kind of stuck. The food is great, although.

Have stayed here before and very much like it. Nice location at the end of a long road after the town of Potes. Comfortable hotel with good size rooms complete with AC. Nice restaurant with good choice so long as your stay is not too long. Nice bar open during the day and evening. Veranda with table and chairs attached to the room. Mountain cable car by the hotel. Quiet and calm. Hope to stay again.
Frankly nothing really. If it had a swimming pool it would be perfect but then would be more expensive and busier, so fine just as it is.

This is not the first time and not the last time we are coming to this location / hotel. Staff - perfect Location - amazing Food - very good Quality price - high
Just a suggestion regarding the table setting for breakfast - thinking sustainability, I would skip the white table cloth and find a solution that is easy to clean and looks good at the same time (like a table mat). It is cheaper for the hotel, better for the planet while being still a very good solution for the customers.

We had a great stay here, the room was very big and we loved the indoor terrace with the magnificent views of the mountains. There's a fridge with a minibar, a lift, 24h reception and private parking. There were free toiletries in the bathroom and we had a view of the cable car from there as well. The staff were all very friendly and spoke English. If you want to go to Fuente Dé I would definitely recommend staying here because the value for money is incredible.
It may not have been the most modern of hotels, but we appreciated the style of the place.

The breakfast was lovely. Staff were very friendly & helpful at all times. Everyone greeted you when you met them. Hotel is spotless and a lovely place to stay. The National park is magnificent, I would highly recommend a hike through it. We will definitely return to this hotel.
Menu was a little basic, the cafe menu in particular. Could do with some plant based milk as I don’t drink cows milk. However the food we did have was very good especially in the restaurant. The fish dishes were beautiful.

This was the highlight of our trip! This hotel has such character and is incredibly spacious and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us and we had an incredible meal in the restaurant. The breakfast spread was incredible with a huge selection of pastries, bread, cheese, fruit, cereal and more as well as hot food ordered fresh from the kitchen and pots of tea and coffee brought to the table. Not to mention being surrounded by high peaks and right by the cable car. You will never forget a stay at Paradores!

Restaurant staff worked very hard, but there were no enough of them. Friendly staff and interesting menu choices. Lovely room with balcony facing the mountain. Helpful suggestions from reception staff about mountain walks. Make sure to book the cable car early.
Bar area was poorly located, cramped and not inviting on through route to dining rooms. Dinner was not served before 8.00pm, so eating was late in the evening. No EV charging on site, so had to go to next door village.

We chose this hotel for its location and it is just fantastic. At the foot of the Picos de Europa mountains, 100m from the cable lift that takes you up in 3 min. Tip: book your tickets online in advance to avoid a long queue. The hotel has a lot of atmosphere, the rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and everything is very clean. Nice and tasty breakfast (note: with reservation of time slot). Spacious car park and lovely terrace.
You can't just walk in for breakfast, you have to stick to your time slot. But: we knew this in advance and didn't mind. The staff really did their best to serve everyone well.
